What is the unit for measuring the roundness in CircularEdgeReport_struct?

Hi-

I thought roundess %, but looks like I have greater than 100 for this value.  Can someone tell me what the unit is roundess value in this structure?

Thanks in advance-

Blue

Hi blue,

According to this, it looks like the roundness is maybe referring to the least square error of the circle that is adjusted to the set of points.

  • Preferences (vs picas pixels) / unit of measure for the application

    Hello

I need to adjust the geometricbounds of an Image in a rectangle with a JS script. But when I get the geometric limits for my image, it does not use pixels for measurement unit, using its picas. However, if I manually adjust the preferences in my office about Indesign pixels, the script runs correctly.

How can I change the preferences of "Pixels" of my script so that I don't have to manually check?

    Thanks in advance!

    Lloyd

There's nothing wrong with changing preferences. Simply change it back later. Play with unit conversions, it's more trouble than what it's worth (in my opinion).

If you wrap your script in a try/catch/finally block (change back in the end), that should change back 99.9% of the time units.

I am just using the preferences visible, so you know if it changes back fails (and will not break scripts legacy, based on the measures of the user interface)...

  • What is the unit of allocation best partition optimized for games and other files?

Original title: Dear lads! I'm buying a Western Digital Caviar Black 500 GB, and I intend to optimize my HARD drive

I want to tell you, what I usually use my PC, so you can help me with the allocation units, partitions and the locations of the page file.

-Use computer games for most of my quality time. I wonder, what is the unit of allocation best partition optimized for games
-I download and download a large number of files. I'll create a separate partition for this kind of data?
-I'll have access to 2 different hard disks the following day. Will I dedicate entire storage for the pagefile? (I've got GB of physical RAM)
Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions!

«Also, I would like to know, if I needed a file at all, or I could skip just use it, because I read something like: pagefile is mainly used for memory images, which I don't really need (some have suggested, you don't even need it on servers).»

When you move the pagefile to another PHYSICAL disk, you should always leave a little on C, perhaps 500 MB, for things like memory dump files. Next, you define a "system managed" pagefile on the other disk.

It never makes sense to totally eliminate the swap file and don't forget that the swap file is not a Microsoft invention designed to shoot to the top of the hard drive space. OS UNIX, Linux and Mac too, independently use the totals of RAM...

  • Units of measure for the Framework Document

    Dear Forum gods,

I am using a VB script to define what I believe to be the units of measure - in other words, the units displayed on the horizontal and vertical rules when opening a document. According to the script:

    myDocument.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.inches
    myDocument.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.inches

This does not seem to do anything.

Error reports 30480 - which I can't find any information on the newspaper.

    Your help is appreciated!

You look at the VB reference? your line looks strangely like a line of JavaScript and JavaScript is etque the same syntax as VB.

A quick Google turned up the VB CS5 reference; your example of a measure is on p. 28, but with different wording.

OR is the abbreviation for the organizational unit and is part of Windows Server Active Directory. When you add an organizational unit in Active Directory, this allows you to create a category for computers or users, or both. For example, in a high school, I can create an ORGANIZATIONAL unit for students have all my student accounts within that ORGANIZATIONAL unit and an OU for staff and have all my personal accounts in this OU. Now I can apply GPOS, or objects group, to this organizational unit policy, such as the Interface controls if I want to lock the student for example interfaces. You can also configure the computer OUS in them. So, for example, I can join a set of computers from the teacher to the UO staff within Active Directory computers after that these machines have been joined to the domain, and then apply a policy on that OU that says that personal accounts can ONLY log into these computers to prevent students to connect on a personal computer.

  • What are the units of the DAQmx meter?

    Hello

I created this VI and several others like it, a few months ago, but I forgot some of what I have at the time.  I believe that this VI should measure period, using the counter on the chassis of the acquisition of data.  Can someone tell me the units of the measurement period?  I think it's seconds, but I am trying to find a way to understand this!  The period values are generated by the DAQmx READ function in the WHILE loop.  What units that work out in the table?  What are the units of the elements of the array, essentially?  See the attached VI.

In addition, how do you know?  I opened the DETAILED HELP for the DAQmx Read (minimum 1 D NSamp DBL) shows the VI but, I can't find anything on the units of data coming out of the Terminal marked data with the orange wire, which is actually an array of periods, and we take the average of the most recent measures period 15 or more.

I had a suggestion months ago for a line OR manual containing a description of the measures of buffering EdgeCounting, but when I went to find it, the link had been changed by NEITHER, so I find that manual, but I think the answer is probably there because I remember this manual is very helpful when I've done it before.

    Thanks for the tips.

    HI dav2010,

When you create a virtual channel, you must specify the units of the task of counter uses.  There are several options that are listed in help here:

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/370469AA-01/lvdaqmx/mxcreatechannel/#DAQmxCreateChannel%28CI...

I'm not on a computer with LabVIEW now, but I think the default should be ticks, which is the number of ticks the time base of your device.  You can find this information in your hardware specifications.

    Kind regards

    Hi all

What is the unit of EXTENT_SIZE in v$ sort_usage, isn't this. blocks or bytes? for 11.2.0.4

    Thank you

You mean v$ sort_segment, no v$ sort_usage. The size of the measure is levied on one size of storage space, in the blocks.

  • What is the maximum power for the hp pavilion a6650f food?

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion a6650f running Windows 7 64 bit os. I want to uprade the power. What is the maximum size for my machine?

    Thank you.

The largest PSU that you can install is a power supply that fits in your case. Is that you can install a 500w unit, unit of 700w. No matter what the power of the PSU is... What matters and is that the limiting factor is the size of the PSU pyshical. Measure the size of your existing plant of PSU and notice the space between it and optical drives... If you get a power supply which, for many, optics and PSU players bump into one another.

    Hello Sandra,.

You can inactivate the unit of MEASURE. Please follow the Navigation, more

The superuser inventory > Setup > unit of measure > unit of measure

Put the inactive date in the column ' Inactive on "he will finish / inactivate the unit of MEASURE.

    Thank you

  • Work with the types of different units and measures

When you work with objects such as cells in a table, you sometimes have to combine measurements of different unit types. For example, if I wanted to calculate the width of a cell whose cell line I might try to combine the width in millimetres of the points race.

I could change users viewPreferences to a single unit type and then change them back later, but this seems very awkward and if there are problems with the script it leaves users InDesign settings in a bit of a mess.

What is the best way to work with measures in this way?

Then you should take a look at:

  • What are dsiplayed units of time in the timeline?

It's maybe a stupid question, but I wanted both to an event that I recorded with my sony hd camera.  I imported the clip pe 9 and tried to judge time to watch frame-by-frame in the timeline.   the units appear like this 01:30; 25 but the last two digits go from 25 to 00.   that the devil which means?   are these frame units, the second, a novel timing invented by adobe system?    I realize a video camera is not an instrument of measurement of the time, so maybe I'm too ask a lot... but now I'm curious... What are these units displayed in the timeline panel, and why they jump in increments that they do?   the value of my sony camera?  or adobe?

    Thank you...

    David

N ° is the General standard in Non-linear video editing. Adobe continues just to follow. Which means the timecode in your case is 01:00 seconds: 25 images. If she spends 25 to 0, it means that you have created a PAL project. For NTSC, it climbs from 30 to 0. This indicates not only the time, it also indicates the number of images. And it's really too granular you need to get into this big bad video world.

You can use this to make your time. I'm guessing that you don't need a precision less than 0.04 seconds (25 images per second - an image in 0.04 seconds).

Where can I find and how to install in my 4S?

There are only two things you can do for your iPhone 4 s. using the current iOS located on the unit, or 9.3.3 the current iOS iOS. You can not 'find' or 'install' all other versions of iOS.

  • What is the best editor/Photo for iPad Pro?

Just watch to see what everyone uses.  I don't like on the cost.  I want to just make sure we can use the pencil and is good quality

Apple's Pencl works only with applications that have been encoded/programmed/designed to operate it.

Do a search in the iOS App Store for Apple Apps of pencil.

I don't think there are image/photo editors who use the pencil to Apple.

For what is 'best', 'better' image editor is a subjective term.

Do your own research in the iOS App Store for image/photo editors and see what will work best for you and your own workflow.

On iOS, you will find that you need more enforcement of an image/photo to cover everything you need to do with images.

I use Photos of Apple's iOS app, but have other applications that can do other things to images/photos.

You must see what is available and choose those who can work for you.

There is no best or overall image/photo-editing app.

iPads are not a notebook computer replacement / full desktop again!

It can take more measures or apps to do some different things that have been easier or more directly on a regular computer.

iOS is not also fully recommended and robust as ordinary computer operating systems.

    Good luck!

  • What are the specifications for a fusion drive

I'm looking into getting a new mac mini and I think to get a player of fusion. I currently have a mini 2011 that I install with a SSD that is dedicated to the operating system and applications, and the original for data (documents, pictures, music) hard disk. Some can give me the specs for a merger for a new mini unit (2015)? I would like to know if the SSD is 3g or 6g, what is the size of the SSD, and what is the speed of the hard drive. I guess the size

The SSD is based PCle blade, which is much faster than a SATA III/6 GB/s SSD.

Note that the basic model has only a hard drive or drive of available fusion while the other two models also have a large PCle based SSD as an option in addition to the rotation of the road and road of fusion. The SSD n a fusion drive is about 120 GB
