What is toggle the State of all controls in action?
Unchecking an action brings up a box of 'it will toggle the status of all orders in this action, it is not feasible. I unfortunately de-activted action by unchecking it. What is this feature and why is it not somehow reversible? Thank you
This message occurs only when you click the checkbox on the left of a name of the name of action game action. It's probably something you don't want to. It a warning message. It can not be canceled automatically.

To run the State and asynchronous control pending...
I have a VI that I call asynchronously.
When I run it, I record the refnum for her and watch her status to see if it stops running. At some point, the asynchrounous VI will run the pending execution. How can I see by using the State of the VI property node. I assumed, apparently incorrectly, that when a Subvi is "waiting to run" that he would be in a State of execution other "Running". Is there something else I should be looking? What works here?
I'd certainly prefer this solution rather than an alternative such as send a user or view event since it places no restriction on the Subvi (i.e. the subvis connector plan).

As I do this is to use asynchronous Start using the call and Collect Call option. To say that if the VI has finished, I use a wait on node for asynchronous call with a short timeout - if he stopped (returned), then the wait will succeed without error, as if she is still underway, the wait will be timeout, throwing an error I can trap and clear. My routine of waiting and then returns a Boolean to indicate whether the asynchronous routine is back. If so, I can stop the asynchronous routine using a target Abort VI.
In a fairly large project in real time, I had about 5-6 asynchronous 'loops' running in parallel, completely detached. When I was ready to stop, I used a VIG who has been wired for their stop indicator. In my hand, I then called the wait routine on all my routines in a loop until they call returned as "stopped", then I really 'arrested' them by calling the option "Stop" (Abort VI) on each of them.

In collaboration with the new button of Firefox in Firefox 4.0 and with the addition of some new features that adds a number of new items to the menu, many of the menu items older have been moved or appear only in certain conditions. It can be a bit confusing until you get used to the changes, but beyond the addition of new menu items for the new features in the future, I don't think that there will be major changes like this for awhile.

Shortcut keys toggle the State of the toggle switch
How can I prevent a switch to update it's GUI State when it is accessible via the shortcut (Alt + letter)?
I want to be able to do this without disabling the control and adjustment of the mode indicator. I have created a reminder to swallow the event_commit. The control still toggles when you use shortcut keys, but not when you click the control.
Thinking about your problem occurred for me to experiment with a few SDK function to check whether the key of the accelerator feature can be disabled. While I failed at it, I noticed that if you install a quick access key system via the function RegisterHotKey SDK is a priority on the accelerator THAT CVI installs everything by adding double underscore somewhere in the control label. In other words, even if the sign of the accelerator is present, a quick access key system comes before and prevents the recall affects to be fired. This could be a realistic solution for your real problem.
I did a quick example that shows all this matter: you can test all the combinations of keys installed on the control and see what happens.

Change the State of a control through DataProvider
Hello. I use a custom treeview checkbox. The example I use works fine when the DataProvider is XML. However, my DataProvider is an array of hash objects. With this DataProvider, the tree is displayed correctly, but does not meet the ActionScript written to manage the interactivity of the boxes. I go back down to this example from malfunctining:
this.myTree2.dataProvider [8] .checked = 2;
This line is Dim have drawn. The treeview-checkbox custom has three active States. 0 = disabled, 1 = on, 2 = mode environment represented as a gray box. Initially, all the elements are checked = 0. When I run the above line, the content of DataProvider changes indeed (according to the debugger), but the control itself does not update visually. Back to this line a second time, DataProvider is always in the checked state 2 =.
I'm new to Flex programming, but I am an experienced .NET web application programmer. Is there something I need to do, like 'cool' control when the DataProvider content changes?
I use Flex Builder 3 on WinXP, trials primarily with IE7. Thanks for any idea that all have them.

What happened to the function "bookmark all tabs" in Firefox 4.0.1?
I found the function "To bookmark all tabs" very useful when I went to close Firefox (for recovering the memory), but wanted to be able to remember the bookmarks. In the 4.0.1 Version that seems to have been supplanted by groups of tabs in Panorama, but this isn't the same thing. I want just a simple way to bookmark, or make a group of tabs of ALL open tabs.
{Ctrl + Shift + D} to trigger bookmark all tabs or use the menu option bookmark all tabs... in the context menu for each tab.

What happened to the buttons select all and synchronization of Film Camera RAW 9.0 Strip?
Hi, I was wondering if the disappearance of the 'select all' and the 'sync' from the top of the film strip pane 9.0 button in camera raw is on purpose.
If this is not the case, why remove Adobe? Now I have to make several clicks to achieve the same thing as a single click used to do.

You can click on the small icon to the right of where it says Filmstrip or right click anywhere inside the strip of film to get the menu.

using the key to toggle the button and retain a mechanical Action
I'll put in place to control the race of a stepper motor and I have 2 buttons for jogging forward and backward to jogging. These buttons have the mouse down and mouse events sends commands to the motor controller. The mechanical action of the buttons are set to release the latch.
I would also use the previous Page and Next Page on the keyboard to toggle these keys. But I would like the button to act in the same way that the mouse when the button is pressed and held the button remains pressed and released with the release of the key.
However when I press on and press and hold the button continues to activate / deactivate. Is has something to do with the repeat button, but I don't know how to operate it. Any advice would be appreciated.
I've attached an example of how I started. The mouse down press the reverse button opens a dialog box, but the key does not work and when the key is held down the button flashes. Page Up for forward and Down to the opposite Page.

Simply use another event and manages press button from the bottom to the top in the same way. The button using local variables while active, you can switch to event.
I don't know why you use latch action. Why not with the button until this that released and value change events?

Windows 7 - How can I get rid of an "All Control Panel items" icon on the desktop?
Only, I've migrated to Vista Ultimate x 64 to Windows 7 Professional x 64. I used Laplink to move all my users, programs, and settings. Everything is great, except now there is an icon on the desktop for all my users that I can't get rid of - it connects to the control panel and is called "All Control Panel items" - it cannot be deleted or moved to the Recycle Bin. Make a right click on it brings up a menu with 'open' and 'create a shortcut' by dragging it to the trash does not delete it.
If I am right cick on the desktop and add Control Panel to the items displayed on the desktop, a second control Panel icon appears with the same picture, but the text is just 'control panel '.
I don't know there is a registry key that I have to remove or adjust but after a lot of research can't find anything.
Open the Publisher of the registry (Regedit.exe) and navigate to:

Backup the key by exporting to a REG file.
Expand the branch above and delete the following subkey:

binary passage replaces the State after commits
I have a binary switch unique control of four similar processes. I use an EVENT_COMMIT to trap the change in his condition.
However, I notice that because of hardware lag on the side of the output, the State of the binary switch (off to ON) takes a long time to change. Indeed, visually LabWindows is not updated the State of GUI control until after all the stuff that happens in his recall.
This seems a strange behavior for me. The help topic for the control States:
If the binary switch mode is warm or validation, a validation event is generated when the binary switch is active and you change its status.
That does not imply that the GUI would lead the control in another thread, while the callback is processed?
I also tried EVENT_VAL_CHANGED, but who behaved the same way. Is there another type of event or mode of operation I could try so that when the binary file is changed, the GUI is updated immediately and the callback is processed at the same time? I don't want that there is some lag so that my user is trying to hit a second time the binary!

No: the Visual representation of the control is updated at end of reminder, so if the recall is long to run, you don't see the switch state change until the treatment ends.
You can inform the user that something is happening by using SetWatCursor (1) early reminder and SetWaitCursor (0) to end of reminder, or force an update of the UI calling ProcessDrawEvents () somewhere in your code (but if there are several GUI updates in the meantime time can slow down the recall in a moment of junk.

What happened to the selection of layers?
What happened to the feature selection layer (control-command + click)? It is totally broken. In earlier versions, it would bring a pop-up menu, by selecting the top layer of that mouse was hit. In CS5, it brings just a list of all the layers, and you have to hunt through the list to the selected layer. GRAND Dérangement. There is a new feature that replaces what Im missing?

Re-initialize state of 'active' controls opening of vi
Is it possible to re - initialize the State of a control (enabled vs. disabled) when the vi is reopened? I put a few controls turn off when you click a button "Continuous run" while the program runs. However, if the user then stops and closes the vi, the controls are disabled when the vi is reopened. I would like that they reset enabled for the next user.

The parameters ' view by ' control panel of Windows 8 will not stick

I am running Windows 8 Pro N. When I open the control panel its default view is "category". If I change this to 'Small icons', farm on Control Panel and open it again, it's back to the "category" mode
Is there a setting that needs to be set so that this preference stick?

I had the same problem. While that the 4 steps has not worked for me either, I found a solution quite similar as Ajacks which I believe will work on all platforms of Windows 8.
When you open Control Panel, it opens in 'Category' default mode.
If you look at the address bar, it will just say 'Control Panel'.
But if you switch to "Small icons" or "Large icons", the address reads now "Panel > all Control Panel items.If you mouse over the words "All Control Panel items", it will highlight blue. You can then click and drag on the desktop to create a shortcut. When you click this shortcut, it should open up the control panel to display small or large icons, that you last closed (category view will not count!). In addition, you can right-click on this shortcut and pine in the Start Menu or add to Favorites to access practice. You can also change the name of "Control Panel" If you don't like the name of 'All Control Panel items' bulky.
If you want the control panel to open in category view again then do the same thing, but this time select and drag the words "Control Panel" in the address bar and pin it Start or where ever you usually click to open the control panel.
I hope that this solution makes it easy to one who reads this to match their preference!

At some point my Panel actions stopped allowing me to see the full names of each of them, even if I drag the width completely out. Is attached a screenshot of the most distant, that it will go, and another of what happens after you keep dragging and it would become so two columns. Is there a way to see the full name of the action? Thank you!
Which version of photoshop and the operating system are you using?
You can find the exact version of photoshop by going to help > System Info of in photoshop and looking at the top line.
What is the name of one of the names of action as long as you don't see mode button?
You can switch out of the Mode button in the menu drop-down control panel actions you can see the full name.
You may need to go to the Photoshop (Edit) > preferences > Interface, set the font size of the user interface to Tiny and then restart photoshop.
