I created a super-simple library that I added to the oracle.iam.ui.custom - dev-starter pack. However, I'm not sure how to actually deploy such things, and what do you do with regard to get things to work.
That's what I currently have:
-Simple class called EchoUtils that has a method named 'getPing()' - this thing returns 'PONG', and that's all, nothing else.
-Defined the EchoUtils as a backingBean (I wish really is an applicationScoped-bean, but never min now). The configuration is simple:

javax.faces.validator.ValidatorException: oracle.adf.controller.ControllerException: ADFC-10001: failed to instantiate the class "com.vegaasen.play.adf.utils.EchoUtils".

It matters little if I restart the entire server WebLogic, only the IOM or just to redeploy the package. The error persists throughout all my trials. So what the hell I am doing wrong? This is supposed to be so easy, so I don't understand how I can manage to screw it up .

.. Which explains everything. Well, then I know that there was nothing wrong with what I've done, it's just that I've compiled with jdk 1.7 stuff, when we IOM running on jdk 1.6.

This error arose in the GUI when I accidentally saved my changes to the graphical interface, which was not intended. So my new question is this:

When I try the expression builder, where will the exception logging? I can't find them anywhere :-)

Could not find iterator of property in the oracle.adfmf.bindings.dbf.AmxCollectionModel class

I created a RestServiceDescription to a rest Service and "Artifact generation" to create Java objects. With the generated Service, I've created a data control.
The rest service returns an Array of JSON object. So I tried to create a list view of the DataControl. Now, the error I get is: property in the oracle.adfmf.bindings.dbf.AmxCollectionModel class iterator is not found

I don't know what is happening. Can someone help me?

I found the problem: The REST services had been set up to use localhost, which is not available in the Android emulator. Changing the address to 10.0.2.2 solved this problem.

Reasons why a request is not added to the Cache:

Almost all the interface user graphical items in idrc_PNG * files with extension of the IDRC .

Basically, they are regular PNGs with extension changed.

Splash screen can be found here: \Adobe InDesign CS6\(InDesign Resources)\idrc_PNGA\294.idrc

Simply change the IDRC in PNG and you will be able to load it into Photoshop.

Hi all

I extended a CO named IndusFinalReviewPageCOXX and I got the following error.

Error (10,47): EntryFlowPageCO not found in the class oracle.apps.ap.oie.entry.summary.webui.FinalReviewPageCO in the indus.oracle.apps.ap.oie.entry.summary.webui.IndusFinalReviewPageCOXX class.

I already drag the EntryFlowPageCO class file in the path myclasses\oracle\apps\ap\oie\entry\summary\webui
and import the file. but the error remains the same... After that, I compile the EntryFlowPageCO class file and found a CO EntryFlowPageCO imports more. I drag the class of this CO also file in the appropriate path... But still the same error.

Please give me the solution as soon as POSSIBLE.

In the standard central, you can check this controller as entryflowpageco is not under myclasses\oracle\apps\ap\oie\entry\summary\webui.

Its under oracle/apps/ap/goose/entry/webui put the same under this directory structure.

I am using UTL_DBWS to call a Web service and get an error "ORA-29540: oracle/jpub/runtime/dbws/DbwsProxy of class does not exist"

his back and forth between me and operations, I have aske to load the package, but still the script fails. Is it possible to confirm if the package is loaded, as the script below

Pots in the path of a custom component class

I use the dom4j - 1.6.1.jar in a custom component library, but my JBoss server has dom4j.jar in jboss\server\all\lib. My custom component is throwing the following error message:
DefFoundError message: org/dom4j/xpath/DefaultXPath during the call to service XmlToCsvService and convert operation and no way fault proved be configured.
This makes me suspect that the Dom4J version in the server lib directory is takes precedence over that of my component. Any suggestions for how to manage this? Thank you.

Even the suggestion of Marcel does not always work, but it is certainly worth a quick try. I remember nothing but try and find one of LiveCycle EAR files has a version of dom4j buried in it (I don't remember which version of LC it was).

Of course change an Adobe provided EAR is not recommended and can break your support agreement. There is an alternative, however; If you change the JBoss lib folder does not work. To avoid conflict, you can use Victor to rename the package within the DOM4J class and deploy the jar in your component to avoid the conflict.

Client computer: Dell notebook, i5, Win 7 SP1 Enterprise 64-bit (8 GB of RAM)
I am trying to install the oracle 11.2.0.3 client 64-bit on this machine, but facing problems. After I'm done specifying ORACLE_BASE and selection of the language and 'Administrative' selected option instead of 'instant customer' or 'Runtime', by clicking on the next button, progress bar is displayed and the time it's done with audit requirements that disappears from the screen moving in together. I ran the installer with the option "Run as Administrator" too and tried to use 11.2.0.2 setup, but in vain.
Quick question... I have a CSI valid, if I get a ticket with Oracle, they would help me on problem installing client that I am facing. In the past I was able to install the client on this machine, I am just clueless despite that I looked at the log generated by the Setup program file.

How to start the oracle database server and its client in windows 8

I am a new entry in this forum and I am a beginner with oracle database.
I always used SQL Server as the database, and it was easy to use after installation.
With management program configuration of SQL Server I could to start service SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS) and the database server start!
With SQL Server management studio, I was able to launch the client application, then was to establish a connection to the server and everything worked great!
Now, how to work with the oracle database?
I installed the oracle server and client version 11g R2 in windows 8, but how do I start the database?... and how can I start the client application to query?

If you are on the same machine, the only service that you absolutely need to start is the database service. In your case OracleServiceSYSDBA (hmmm... How did you find with this name?).

For queries, you can use SQL * Plus which should also be installed. If you want something GUI, you can use SQL Developer (you need to install separately I think).

Im trying to develop an extension for sql developer. To complete my post, I need oracle.dbtools in the application. Everywhere I have look on the internet shows a few people who use it and for some reason any my JDeveloper find not what so ever. Where can I find this or what can I do to solve my problem.

Have you tried to look inside the following jar file in both

1. a JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.4 installation:...\jdeveloper\sqldeveloper\lib\oracle.sqldeveloper.utils.jar
2. a SQL Developer 3.1 installation:...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\lib\oracle.sqldeveloper.utils.jar

Both contain an oracle\dbtools\raptor\newscriptrunner\CommandRegistry.class

I reference 11.1.1.4 since, as you probably know, the scope of the SQL Developer extension uses is based on this version of JDeveloper.

In java, a BLOB is just the index that gives you access to the content. In your case, you access by selecting a locator BLOB existing and getting his inputstream. This inputstream is what allows you to access the content real blob.
