What should I expect with my new S10?

I bought my S10 last month in Hong Kong, when I check the CD inside the packaging, the seller told me it did not provide a Windows installation CD. And if I want to reset my S10, I can use OneKey Recovery option.

But recently I found someone on the net said Lenovo will provide the Windows installation disk to S10 owner. Someone even said that they can request the CD of Lenovo, if the Windows CD did not come with their S10.

So I'm just wondering if anyone knows what would be the situation? Because if I can get the Windows installation disk, I want to buy a Vista upgrade version to install on my S10.

It must contain a recovery disk.

The recovery disk is a Windows XP HOME Edition with modded UGLY Lenovo to screen.

If you do not, try contacting Lenovo.

Uninstall CS4 versions properly using the uninstall programs that come with them (aliases are in each of the directories of the apps). In addition, it works as it should - newer versions always leave former in place. If you will be able to open all your files CS4 in CS6 we do not know - Yes, newer versions should open older files, but you could use specific things that limit compatibility as some plug-ins which would need to be upgraded for CS6 as well. For this exact reason, you can keep CS4 around for a little longer, until you can be sure...

    Brand: HP
    Type: laptop
    Model No.: Pavilion zt3000
    512 MB DDR1 RAM
    Thank you very much!

    Hi Dominic,

Are you able to get into BIOS to make changes?

If so, you can try to reset the default settings of the BIOS and check.

NOTE: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

You can also try to remove all external usb devices that can be connected to the system and start-up and see if the system boots.

  • What is exactly included with the new package of photography for adobe?

well first of all, I'm in love with all these massive changes all around.

Secondly, I'm kinda a hot mess.

For starters, I put to level my poor old PC to a Mac (it was time!), it means I'm losing all my previous software. (It's time to also update in all cases) I currently have installed cs4 and also lr4 on my PC. I pick up my new Mac mini tomorrow and would like to have a solid game plan.

I'm having a hard time to understand what the new cloud options, as well as the package of photography for $9.99 / month. With that, cloud creative included? do I have to buy cloud creative membership in addition to the packaging of photography? This includes full use of photoshop and Lightroom versions? And finally, what is the advantage vs lr5 buying outright (physics software) and / or using Photoshop full download purchase and use by creative cloud. My how times have changed... I feel so out of the loop, however extremely excited for the changes and the inspiration.

Thanks in advance and follow the incredible changes.

    RP

My understanding is that the photographer $ 9.99 package includes 2014 CC Photoshop and Lightroom CC 2014, as well as 2 GB of cloud storage. He does not include access to the rest of the apps universe CC (what you would get with a full package of CC), nor does it include TypeKit as part of the package. It also includes access to iPad and iPhone applications of Lightroom and the Photoshop Mix app for the iPad.

  • What should I do with the older version of the software student?

A few years back, I got the version of the Adobe Design Standard CS4 student. I have since upgraded to CS6 and have more no use of my design Standard software. The discs are just sitting there in the box.

My question is, what do I do with it? I said that I can't sell it because it is a version of the student. But what I do with it? I would just throw out, but it doesn't help for me to keep her. Is there a program of buying back shares or recycle?

Cenamaria2787 I would recommend that you check your software license for CS4 is available in your account.  You can find information on how to locate your series imbue under your account to find your serial number fast - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

I'm not aware of any specific recycling for DVD or CD program for the discs themselves.  You are also right that since it is the educational version you can not sell the software.

  • How to make DVD for Windows 7 which should have come with my new laptop please

This is my first post here so please bear with me. I just bought a new laptop Lenovo Essentials B570 that comes with Windows 7 pre-installed. Previously, I used to buy Dell laptops which tend to come with the OS reinstallation DVD that check to see if they are installed on the hardware, it was bought for, but would allow us to install the OS on a new drive hard if the original one crashed. Now, Lenovo seems very complicated to allow the buyer to re - use install operating system - they should keep the same drive hard - but what happens is the disk hard breaks down and you want to install the operating system and all the drivers? The Dell DVD allows me to do exactly the same thing. Can I create a similar drive to install the OS on a new HDD as and when I want / need it please? I created two sets of DVD using the OKR - one software together using the 'system currently on the disc' and another series for 'reset to factory settings' - but what I have read on these forums these OKR discs would not work if I put a completely new hard drive. So, at least, if I can get hold of the correct version of the Windows DVD - as I paid for the license, I would be very grateful. Thank you.

as you notice, we have already discussed this issue and the answer is if you want to keep functional okr, don't new volumes.

beside that, you can use 3rd software to create a new volume windows cause can only create 4 volumes (which you already have 4 volumes - mbr, c, d, hidden-)

It is your responsibility if you prefer re - partition the drive.
    (Yes, okr will be useless)

If your drive dies hard, and if you have warranty still valid, no worries. replacement will be free.

I have not personally tested for use okr with new empty hard disk drives, but I know it won't work. one is to clone hard drives.

However, if you still want windows dvd, you can download and burn legally. (you may need to call microsoft to activate the windows)

  • What should I do with my project created under Labview 64bits?

Given that I have started using a new PC with Windows 7 x 64, I start to build my project in labview x 64. It was more than a year and the project involvoes there are a few cameras, IO, etc..

There are problems, such as some devices that I use labview for control is not x 64 drivers or the drivers do not work properly; However, I managed to make it work until I need to integrate Matlab scripts into my project and we paid just for the Mathscripts, but I suddenly realized that Mathscript does not support LV 64 bit on my system.

    Thus, the questions are

    1. can I use Mathscripts on LB 64 bit?

    2. even if I can, that is a good idea to stick with lv 64 bit with all these worries of device driver?

Otherwise, must migrate to 32-bit LV, I just try to open my project with 32 bit LV 2011, there is a lot of lack of screws. It seems that I have to spend some time to again hundreds of screws and other unexpected problems?

Whatever it is, I need to spend time on ANYTHING?

Anyone who has some experience in this field could shed light on me?

    Thank you.

Suppose that you create a 32-bit LabVIEW program that just works your Mathscript code.  You can create it as a server that when he is released, he just sits there waiting commands and data, treats and sends back results.  You can add to your 64-bit program, a section of communication that sends commands and data to the program through TCP/IP 32-bit and the results expected.  If both programs are running on the same PC then Localhost or 127.0.0.1 of course you want to put in place a good error checking where communication breaks down.  But it will allow you to enter your code Mathscript in LabVIEW and I do a lot of work to your existing (other that had the communication part) program to make it work.

    Hello

I tried to download Windows 7 Professional. But I don't know how to download correctly. We offer time-limited from Microsoft. Now, I'm not going to school, so my school can not help me with the download of related issues.

I have this file-(EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso) recorded on in the Temp folder on the C drive of my computer. But I don't know what the right file? Should I burn to DVD? File size is 41.4 MB.

Can someone help me with this? If this is the right file? If so, then can I've burn it to DVD and save it for later installation on my computer?

    Prompt response will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    YM

By its name, it is the image ISO of the DVD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (English language).

Depending on the size, (41.4 MB according to you), it is incomplete by many and of no use.
