What type of memory card?

I'll buy a memory card for my Z3. Do I need a SDHC or SDXC?

@Nc25

The two are compatible, SDXC are just bigger. Z3 should support up to 128 GB of maps.

  • Tecra M7: What types of SD cards are supported?

    Hello

I just tried a SD Transcend 150 x with 4 GB to read with my Tecra M7.
The card works find with my MDA and is formatted correctly. It also works well with a card reader.
My M7 said, it might be not formatted and wanted to format.

So my question which is: what types of SD cards are supported?

Thanks in advance and Shine On, Frank

    Hello

It seems that your laptop card reader would not be able to handle 4 GB SD cards.
Each computer laptop SD card reader supports a hardware limitation, and it seems that this card is not supported.
I m not 100% sure on taken supported card formats SD but the SD 256 MB card, 512 MB, 1024MB and 2048MB should work

A question: have you tried to use the Toshiba SD card format utility? This tool allows you to format a standard SD format SD memory card.

  • What type of video card to get?

    I have a HP Pavilion a6742p-b PC.

The integrated graphics are fine for general use, but several games, which I installed refused to run without a graphics caqrd more capable, with more memory etc.

What type of game card should I do my shopping for this computer? (AGP, PCI-express, etc.).

I would like to have the dual monitor support if possible. Thank you for any information.

Thanks, old_geekster, that is great information!

Dig around for a beefier PS which will suit and hang, max out the RAM to 8 MB and are looking for a PCIexpress card who likes the motherboard.

I'm happy enough if I can be just a few years behind the curve on the game, a lot of my favorite games back to the last century. -So, is not ready to make the last commands is OK for this machine. Hit capacity so that it can run two monitors and manage more games seems simple enough, and given that I will seek for the video material of last generation, that should offset some of the heftier power load.

I take a bit of the Pavilion. My trusty old XP machine was destroyed by a weather event, so I did office stuff at home on an old Athlon 400 MHz with 500 MB of RAM and Win98 for too long. Once I have reproduced all data and software on the HP, the old Win98 machine will return to retirement closet once again, with honor, if not with regret.

Should I publish my experiences pursuing this topic?  I'm a little new here, so I don't know what is appropriate.

  • What type of video card? PCI, PCI Express or AGP?

I have a new hp a6647c and you want to use two monitors. I need a new monitor VGA video dualistic structure. A store asked me what type of Governing Council would hold in my computer, CPI, CPI Express or AGP.  So, how can I determine which Board is necessary for my hp 6647?

    Here are the specs:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01559155

You can not use an AGP card. There is no AGP slot. You have an open pci express x 16 video card slot and a pci slot. You may in fact theoretically have three monitors; two ducts by a dual PCI express head and a third led by a pci video card. If you plug a video card into one of the expansion slots, you will lose the onboard video capability.

  • What types of memory sd micro HP Split x 2 is not compatible with?

    Hello

I got a Split of HP 13 x 2 PC.  I noticed that there is a micro sd under the shelf of the screen.

I want to install a permanent big micro sd so I can still work with huge files so I don't have to worry about the 500 GB hard drive that is installed on the side of the keyboard.

I want to get a micro SDHC or a micro SDXC which are the memories that support 64/128 GB capacity.

However, I have read on various posts that the Tablet does not recognize these memory cards or it is not compatible with them which could end up with random crashes on the PC.  I am very uncertain as to what I should allow me the manual of HP does not exactly specify the maximum capacity, it reads and what technology does work with *.
(* Once again, in my case, I am interested in HC or XC cards)

    Can you please advice?

    Thank you

    Hello Nicoman,

TwoPointOh provided solid advice; In addition, I suggest that you select the media designated as "Class 10" which is the best speed rating currently available; who will ensure that your micro-SD card will still be usable for a long time. Currently, micro-SD 32 GB and 64 GB cards offer the most favourable cost-per-GB; You can be sure to get a compatible product if you buy your micro-SD card accessories | HP® official store.

    Enjoy!

  • What type of graphics card can I put Poweredge T110 II?

    A result of slots server:

    4 PCIe G2 slots:
    Two x 8 slots (one with x 16 connectors)
    One x 4 slot (with x 8 connector)
    A x 1 slot

Graphics must support Windows server 2012 (are Windows 8, Windows Server 2012-compatible drivers?). I not looking for something fancy or fast, just something that can take care of 2 monitors via DVI or DisplayPort.

I looked at NewEgg section of graphics card and it is difficult to understand what type of interface I should take. This is what NewEgg for interface (I see no x 8 or x 4 as shown in the Poweredge T110 II specs):

    PCI Express 3.0 x 16
    PCI Express 2.1 x 16
    PCI Express 2.0 x 16
    PCI Express x 16
    PCI Express x 1
    PCI Express 2.0
    PCI Express 2.1
    PCI Express 3.0

I would like to try any of the cards with x 8 to the end, even though it says a slot x 16 capacity, but only x 8 power.  The card can only be up to 25w.

    Kind regards

But you can check this with tools like Everest. There you can see what kind of RAM of the computer laptop (chip) is not supported.

Of course, you can buy RAM DDR2-667 or DDR2-800 RAM, but it works only with the speed of the lowest module or chipset is not supported.
