What version of esxi supports Windows 8 and Server 2012

We have ESXi 5.0 and vSphere 5.0.

I want to make the smallest upgrade for our VMware supports Windows 8 and Server 2012.

What upgrade do I do?

According to the matrix of product interoperability VMwarevCenter Server 5.0 (without update) supports ESXi 5.0 Update 1 guests too.

  • What versions of 32-bit window based on HP G62-144DX laptop

    Hi all

I bought the new computer hp laptop g62 and OS is win7 64 bit and RAM is 4 GB.

I want to change to 64 bit to 32 bit OS, because an application cannot install to there. for example: I can not install the oracle 10g database.

What version of 32-bit windows support on HP G62-144DX laptop?

I try install win xp 32-bit, but some occued to error when I did install using boot DVD (blue screen!).

Also I can't win xp 32-bit version could support 4 GB of RAM.

    Hello

Mr President, Oracle 10 g does not support Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)...

You must get the works of Oracle 11 g on Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit... (or any newer version of Oracle)

If you have Windows Home Premium 64-bit, you can fresh install Windows Home Premium 32 bit & use the product key at the bottom of your laptop computer to activate Windows 7 using automated phone support...

Windows 7 32 bit can be installed if the size of the RAM is more than 3 GB, but it will be 3.2 GB use only...

I do not understand the question above, but to answer your question in
the subject line, "what's the difference between Windows 7 and.
Windows 7 Starter? "the Windows 7 Starter Edition is not another
operating system, it's just kind of Windows 7. And it is the lowest

What is the FTP.EXE program included in Windows 7 and Server 2008 helps to connect in PASV Mode?

I ask because I had a strange experience with her. First, I will mention that I did hours of research and found many articles stating that it does not work in XP/2000/Server 2003, but I found nothing for Windows 7 or Server 2008.

I found some people who kept him at work and others who could not. I tried with Windows Firewall turned off and will be on and firewall rules created. Others said it is not supported and that I should use a third-party FTP client. I could make it work in Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer. I am well aware of the situation these options in Internet Explorer.

Here are the best real, I could run from the command line on my PC Windows 7 (32 bit), but not on Server 2008 64 bit.

Now, before someone comes and asks me to check the firewall, I want to mention that I tried more than five clients of third-party FTP Server 2008 and they all worked perfectly. In addition, from the same Server 2008 it worked fine in IE and explore.

  • WIndows 7 and Server 2008 machines won't remember preferences of network discovery, needs to set every time you start up or wake up.

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone here could be kind enough to help me solve this situation

I have two machines Windows 7 and Server 2008 machines remember preferences of network discovery.

I use the software on the windows server that collects data and information to two windows 7 machines and discover the network is necessary for this purpose

These machines are set up in an autonomous local network set up as a working group the only other points on the network are none based on PC hardware that fortunately, the server communicates with and reads the data of

Once network discovery is defined for the network, the system works as expected, but on each startup (or wake up) network discovery is lost and need to be authorized. This is the case at the time windows server 20008 r2 and windows 7

How can I make these permanent preferences. for that it restarts and re establish communication its self without intervention

am I missing a setting or if not is there a way I can script the selection preference on each start (/wake) upwards.

the end user must be able to turn on the system / restart and use it with needing to have any IT / networking of knowledge to the outside to get the system running.

Thank you for taking the time to read my request

  • For Windows 7 and Server 2008 Windows Firewall

    Hello

I have a Server 2008 R2 as a DC and four workstations to Windows 7 (32).  I have a requirement to have the windows firewall on the computers of Windows7 desktop and Server 2008 R2 domain controller.

At the level of the Windows 7 Desktop, I can GPEDIT. MSC and manually add a firewall

On the DC 2008 Server, I can add to

    1. Group Policy Management, default domain policy, firewall
    2. Group Policy Management, default domain controller policy, firewall

But I can't get Windows 7 and Server 2008 Firewall work, 'Domain' under the network profile retains by default "Public" or "not identified."

    Any Suggestions?

    Thank you

  • What is the difference between Windows XP and Windows Vista?

    Hello

I do not exactly know what research or information sites I'm going to ask about my computer. It came to my attention somehow they know my browser etc. He would state that you use 'Windows Vista' and all the factors thast go hand in hand.  My question... If I have Windows XP How can I also have Windows Vista? I've always had Windows XP-2000...  They are the same or equal? I thought they were two separate.

Another question... Internet Explorer is an 'operating system' and Windows is a browser? Is this correct? I get confused on both.

    Thank you for your support

Windows Vista is a more recent version of Microsoft Windows than Windows XP.  Windows 7 is the current version of Microsoft Windows with Windows 8 to be released soon.  Get a brief overview:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/history
    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Microsoft_Windows

You have not, "Windows Vista also".  You have probably one or the other, and perhaps a corruption in your current system is originally a misreport on some web pages.

Discover what operating system you use:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/which-version-of-the-Windows-operating-system-am-i-running

After that, we will understand what Internet Explorer browser (just a simple web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, etc) you are running:
While in Internet Explorer, press ALT from your keyboard and while holding this button down (hold it down) also press the 'H' key on your keyboard.  This should indicate the "Help" menu in which you will find the choices 'A connection of Internet Explorer'.  Release the keys you pressed on and choose that.

You can report both of these things here.

If you want even MORE information about your computer, I suggest running and results of this free program to print: Belarc Advisor.  Its output (this is a web link) will provide you with detailed hardware and software on your system information.

Hello Ahmed - although this configuration "can work", Windows 2008 Small Business Server is not on the support list. This means that it has not been tested and it certifies to work with telepresence.

To my knowledge, he's not on the roadmap for the future support however, I search and repost as soon as I have an answer for you.
