What windows services must be started, manual or disabled, when your operating system is xp pro sp3?

In administrative tools, there is a category of services, and I was wondering what should be started, those who should be put on manual and those that must be disabled? For the best performance and security reasons.

A good place to look for this info is blackviper.com.   He has a list of wach OS and what services can be disabled.

    Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.
