  Do you have a few with this mouse driver CD? You have the same problem with all three USB ports? Can you also check the BIOS settings if there is option called the pointing device settings. There are a few options. You can change it with the space bar. I don't know, but there must be option called simultaneous or something like that.

  I have three computers on a network in my basement and recently updated all three to the x 8 mouse. Two have Vista and XP. The problem I have is when playing fps the clicks of other X 8 mouse are playing games with them. My question is...   According to the Microsoft Hardware site, the Sidewinder x 8 is 2.4 Ghz, and there is no way to select a different frequency. You may need to replace it with a couple other mice for your application.

• Problems mouse while playing games.

  I used to run windows vista 64 bit home premium on this laptop, but since the upgrade to windows 7 64 home premium, I noticed problems with my mouse.  Especially while I am playing a game, he will have those moments where the mouse will become either completely insensitive, or so that I'll have ((usually in first person games)) that it will look like my screens clipping horribly, I can't control it.  It tends to occur every 2 to 3 minutes or so, it's very consistent, but it only lasts for about 3 or 4 seconds.  Even in this small window that happens however, it ruins everything I do right now, it's extremely frustrating.  If anyone else has had this problem or is anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?  Thank you.

  Hi, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition. I have an Intel i7 940, 12 GB of ram and a 250 of nvdidia graphics card. My problem with DirectX 10 games running. When I run a game like Crysis for example. my mouse is actually down and to the right of the where the cursor indicates that it is. Thus, for example, if I want to select the first item in a menu, I need to get my mouse down about an inch and a half inch to the right of the menu button. If I play in mode resolution 800 x 600, then my cursor and the actual location of my mouse are synchronized. If I play at a higher resolution then the lag gradually gets worse until I can choose is more options on the screen. If I start the game in DirectX 9, the problem of the mouse will not occur. If I tell windows to set my Visual settings to "best performance" then everything works normally even in DirectX 10. I understand that aero or transparency is what is confusing things, but is there an any fix for this? I'd really rather not change my windows settings each time I want to play a DX10 game.

  I have a USB mouse problem, when I try to connect a mouse to my laptop Dell Inspiron 1525. I have Windows Vista and my mouse to work on this laptop, but all of a sudden it just stop working and I don't know what happened and I need all the help I can get to resolove the issue as soon as possible... When I connect the mouse he said peripheral unrecongnized then I reinstall the driver using Windows Update and search for my computer, and then, it comes to the screen "Windows has encountered a problem installing software driver for your device...".  It says USB browser mouse fill is missing a necessary entry and perhaps because of the file INF written for windows 95 or later. The mouse worked over a long period and then as a year ago it stop working and I don't know what's the problem with him and I tried almost every troubleshooting tip that was on the computer and I don't seem to be getting anywhere, so if someone could please help me with this I would be very appreicate it.

If something as "the best driver is already installed" is displayed just repeat the steps.
