Offset of DirectX 10 problem mouse

Hi, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit edition. I have an Intel i7 940, 12 GB of ram and a 250 of nvdidia graphics card. My problem with DirectX 10 games running. When I run a game like Crysis for example. my mouse is actually down and to the right of the where the cursor indicates that it is. Thus, for example, if I want to select the first item in a menu, I need to get my mouse down about an inch and a half inch to the right of the menu button. If I play in mode resolution 800 x 600, then my cursor and the actual location of my mouse are synchronized. If I play at a higher resolution then the lag gradually gets worse until I can choose is more options on the screen. If I start the game in DirectX 9, the problem of the mouse will not occur. If I tell windows to set my Visual settings to "best performance" then everything works normally even in DirectX 10. I understand that aero or transparency is what is confusing things, but is there an any fix for this? I'd really rather not change my windows settings each time I want to play a DX10 game.

Hello

Perform the two methods listed below and check if that helps get the pointer of the mouse in sync.

Method 1.
Try to synchronize the computer with the resolutionof the game resolution. It should solve the problem. For example, if you are gambling 1078 * 768 change the resolution of the computer to the same and check.
Method 2.
Change hardware acceleration
You can also try to change the acceperation of material in the middle and check (you can try different)
1. right click on an empty space on the desktop.
2. go in the resolution of the screen.
3. click on advanced settings, then click on the tab "troubleshooting."
4. set the hardware acceleration in the middle. (here you will get the option only if your video card supports).

I hope this helps.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

I used to run windows vista 64 bit home premium on this laptop, but since the upgrade to windows 7 64 home premium, I noticed problems with my mouse.  Especially while I am playing a game, he will have those moments where the mouse will become either completely insensitive, or so that I'll have ((usually in first person games)) that it will look like my screens clipping horribly, I can't control it.  It tends to occur every 2 to 3 minutes or so, it's very consistent, but it only lasts for about 3 or 4 seconds.  Even in this small window that happens however, it ruins everything I do right now, it's extremely frustrating.  If anyone else has had this problem or is anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?  Thank you.

    Hi ddallas159,

According to the Microsoft Hardware site, the Sidewinder x 8 is 2.4 Ghz, and there is no way to select a different frequency. You may need to replace it with a couple other mice for your application.

  • DirectX / 3d problem acceleration

    Hello.

I just installed the 64-bit Windows 7 RC and it works without problems. But when I tried to run the Command & Conquer: Tiberium wars, I've faced the following error (roughly speaking, quoting from memory, but you get the idea. If all goes well...) : "cannot detect Directx 9.0. Please make sure that you have installed. I had a similar problem with Neverwinter Nights 2. The error message was (even once about) "could not detect hardware acceleration.

I installed the latest drivers (Catalyst 9.5 for Windows 7 64-bit) and information system shows material correctly and in dxdiag, my version of directx is DX 11. I have two 4850 s ATI HD crossfirex. If everything seems to be fine.

I also tried to run in administrator mode and compatibility mode (does not solve the problem).

If no additional information is required I'll provide (I'll have the exact error messages later today). Later today, I will try to reinstall the drivers and see if that helps.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have a USB mouse problem, when I try to connect a mouse to my laptop Dell Inspiron 1525. I have Windows Vista and my mouse to work on this laptop, but all of a sudden it just stop working and I don't know what happened and I need all the help I can get to resolove the issue as soon as possible... When I connect the mouse he said peripheral unrecongnized then I reinstall the driver using Windows Update and search for my computer, and then, it comes to the screen "Windows has encountered a problem installing software driver for your device...".  It says USB browser mouse fill is missing a necessary entry and perhaps because of the file INF written for windows 95 or later. The mouse worked over a long period and then as a year ago it stop working and I don't know what's the problem with him and I tried almost every troubleshooting tip that was on the computer and I don't seem to be getting anywhere, so if someone could please help me with this I would be very appreicate it.

Mouse drivers are included in Windows, you can try to run the System File Checker if you haven't tried:

Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7 system files
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833#Method1

After you run the SFC, go into Device Manager and uninstall the mouse (unknown device), restart it should reinstall automatically.

If that doesn't work, try a manual update. Go to Device Manager, right click on the mouse which can be listed as unknown device with an exclamation that is yellow in front of him, and then click Properties, on the mouse properties, click the driver tab, click Update driver... Under "How do you find this driver" click "Browse my computer for driver software", then instead of navigation click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer," click "Next", check the box before "Show compatible hardware", select 'mouse HID-compliant', click 'Next' and complete the wizard. If something as "the best driver is already installed" is displayed just repeat the steps.

Another way to manual installation on this thread of 'Talador.

  • Major problems mouse, left click acting as a click right, very annoying!

Hey guys I have a very annoying problem. I read about it online as other people seem to have made the experience, but there is no real definitive answer. On rare occasions, my mouse will be funny. When you press the left button, it will act as the right and the right button will continue to act as the right one. When you go into the settings of the mouse, even if swap you them around her still acts as if there are two right click and left click No button. I tried a number of suggestions elsewhere on the web, including re-starting my pc several times, trying to update windows, turning off the mouse, re - install, using a different mouse etc... No matter what I do, the problem persists.

The only way to get the return to normal of the mouse is either to turn off the pc and leave it a few hours, in which case even sometimes that does not work. The only other time he rectified himself is in itself. Sometimes it will just fix itself without doing you anything for her.

I'll be very grateful for any advice that anyone can give. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know anything on this subject? Thank you

BTW my system info: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, processor AMD Athlon X 2 2.2 GHz, 4 GB Ram, disks of XFX - MI-A78U-8309 M/B, a few SATA, Logitech MK300 wireless K/Board of Directors and the mouse.

  • DirectX 11 problems when you try to play some computer games - need to replace it with an older version?

    Running Win7 x 64 home.

I have multiple problems of game about Dx11.
EverQuest Games Inc., World of Warcraft, Doom3, Farcry, Alien Vs Predator 2 (former), Counterstrike and a crowd of older games!
I read the other messages and responses (those who responded, I noticed a large number of messages without response on this topic too)
All the responses suggest that it is a hardware problem or win7 compatibility... This isn't the case, I know exactly what the question! its Dx11 causing these problems!
With respect, that I don't have 20 questions about what errors im getting, im of hardware running, which grows with the im... They ALL find out 100%, all I want to do is go back to an older version of directx 9 c preference!
I know that this is the problem I checked the logs of the accident and took notes, errors, and they are the same for the same problem, I got on a Vista machine, which resolved when I restored to before the service pack!
I tried to use the web installer in accordance with another similar position and it will not be installed because I get the message "you have a newer version already installed etc.."
I also tried to change the compatibility to the game settings but this obviously does not work either because he still uses Dx11.

  • Wheel problem mouse MS 3500

    Hello...

Normally I press and release the wheel and the following would happen:

A symbol on the screen (a circle with one to the top and down arrow) appears. I could then move the mouse to scroll quickly without pressing another part of the mouse.

Now, nothing happens when I press the mouse wheel.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and check for updates. Changed the battery. Did not help.  I tried an older mouse as I still possess and the function wheel has functioned well.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

«tried an older mouse as I still possess and the function wheel has functioned well.»

This should indicate that the key to wheel on the mouse with a problem no longer works.

New audit could be trying the mouse on another machine if possible.

  • DirectX 11 problem

I've always had problems with DirectX 11 when playing games (Crysis 2, ACIII) and have always used DX9 or 10 (which works fine).  I ran the benchmark Heaven and produced the two images at the end.  Do you have any idea what it would cause (or even what I would call the question so I can look for it online)?

The question is interlaced squares (like a checkerboard) of the normal scene and black.  Dark jitters autour squares 'bad '.  At first I thought it might be a matter of shader because places were evenly distributed throughout the entire viewing area, but maybe his problem with textures as the various elements of the scene are not the problem.

lol - I do not visit the ATI forum much immediately. I am only using an ATI card for three months.
Especially here and Nvidia. Just a coincidence that I stopped there earlier.
Jose my first ATI card in about six/seven years (HD7970). I went to Nvidia after a borked 1950XT, but not only because of this. More that Nvidia had the good card at the right price at the time.
I was going to get a 5850 on a new machine + two years back, but when I was shopping there was a shortage of big two mfg gpu so I had to settle on the least - GTX260.
This machine - Phenom II 965, now has a GTX560ti.

"I'll have to spring for a new card."
With the games you are looking to play in my opinion - Yes.
Not necessarily because of pixelation.  I don't think that that should normally be the case
just because of the additional constraint of the use of DX11, but due to the overall requirements of the games
you play, assuming you like max eye candy.
5850 ability to use DX11 would not always result in the ability to push everything,
and the latest maps are a good step upward. Use less energy and create less heat too.

Apparently, you can get the new key Bioshock and 3 Crysis with ATI and Nvidia more in the USA.
No luck here in the 'chance', no, (Oz) - low countries!
