When I want to burn a CD in Windows Media Player, it shows "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when burning the file to disk". What's wrong? How to fix?
I tried several times to remove the selection to burn and create a new a new but it keep "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when burning the file to delivery" appears what should I do? What problem is it?Hello
1. what file format you are trying to burn?
2. have you made changes on the computer recently?
3. What is the security software installed on the computer?
If it's something you downloaded, it may be copy protected by DRM, in which case you may not burn it to a CD or DVD.
Here are a few things to try:
1. make sure that the disc is clean.
2. try a different brand of blank discs.
3. stop all other programs that are running.
4. make sure that the hard drive does not use disk compression.
I suggest that you follow these steps and check if they help to solve the problem.
Method 1:
Try to use the Troubleshoot utility to see if that solves the problem.
a. open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.
(b) in the search box, type "convenience store" and then click Troubleshooting.
c. click on show all and then click the Windows Media Player settings.
Method 2:
Select a recording speed (write) more slow for the CD burner.
Change settings for burning a CD or DVD in Windows Media Player
Method 3:
If you have any third-party burning software, I suggest you temporarily Uninstall it and then try to burn the disc using Windows Media Player.
Note: Reinstall the software after the trial.
Method 4:
Temporarily disable all programs that could activate themselves, while burning is in progress, such as screensavers or anti-virus programs.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-softwareNote: Run the computer without antivirus software or firewall is a potential threat to the computer; Be sure to activate security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the problem.
I hope this helps.

When I click on the menu option 'Open Site' he does not what to expect, is rather shows the desktop on my iMac.
What you see is exactly the way it should work. Open the site your Finder window opens, so you can access the .muse file you want to open. Recently opened (just below it) will show the list of sites you have worked on lately. I don't know what else await you.
I should probably see a list of site temp I want to open or DELETE?
No, Muse or any other program besides will not open a file that you do not select to open. To remove a site simply open Finder on Mac go to the location of the file and delete it in one of the many ways that a Mac allows you to do.

Start-up problems: I have a black screen when I log in the menu
When I start my computer, I get a black screen when I log in the menu. I can still access the computer on safe mode, but I can't find a solution. Antivirus Avira found no detection, so I don't think that's associated virus.
Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
by clicking on the bookmarks on the home page gives me my favorites
I have bookmarks under recently and unsorted bookmarks. I can move from these categories to the master list without problem.
When I click on show all bookmarks that I get none. He goes to this screen but shows no Favorites.
I would use these bookmarks on another computer, but also change in show all.second problem, my norton toolbar does not load and has not since worm 36
When you click View all bookmarks to launch the dialog box library, normally, you see three categories listed on the right side. If you double-click in any of the categories, you will find actual bookmark listed there or empty each category?
To transfer bookmarks in Firefox on another computer, there are two different file formats. I suggest to create two in case one does not work:
- "Backup" format: restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer
- On the receiver Firefox, use Restore. He will wipe away all the existing bookmarks in Firefox receiver.
- Format 'Export': Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks
- On the receiver Firefox, use Import (import bookmarks in an HTML file). You usually have to reorganize a folder 'Imported bookmarks' (or the Unsorted Bookmarks category) at the desired locations.
Symantec is usually very quick with updates to date, but it might be a little early for 40 of Firefox (beta version). There is a release supporting 39 Firefox: https://community.norton.com/en/blogs.../firefox-39-support-norton-toolbar. Users report that you sometimes have to run LiveUpdate several times to get the last toolbar into Firefox.
If you had accidentally on the way to the beta and prefer to have the support of Norton toolbar in good time, you can install the retail version (39 Firefox) and it should work seamlessly with your existing settings.
It wouldn't hurt to do a backup first. You can find suggestions in this article: back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.
Then do the restore:
Clean reinstall it
We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (not incompatible, corrupt or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.
(1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 39.0 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).
(2) close Firefox (if applicable).
(3) to rename the program folder, either:
(Windows 64-bit folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
TO
C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox
(Windows 32-bit folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
TO
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
You can get to the Options page?
Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:
- \OldFirefox\Plugins
- \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
- "Backup" format: restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer
-
All my favorites that are important are in folders and fines. But when I click the menu bookmarks, folders are followed by a list of unwanted bookmarks. These do not appear when I go to "show all bookmarks". Here, the "unsorted bookmarks" folder is empty.
I can delete the bookmarks side one at a time, but it will take ages!
Please can you advise me?
Thank you.Are not the Favorites in the Menu of bookmarks folder?
One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
Keep the pictures in the pictures folder in order, when burning a data CD disc
I arranged laboriously 357 pictures from several sources in order to a folder in the Windows Photo Gallery by changing the time the photos were taken. When I burn on a CD of data, either in the Gallery of photos or Windows Media Center, they return to their original order. I need them to be in order at the time wherever I put to them. Please help me to do this. I'm so frustrated trying to make CDs for the members of the family of the 100th birthday of my uncle. What I try to do on this project takes me forever! They should have mailed last month. Help, please. Thank you very much!
Something to try... it works on XP and I have no
a Vista system handy right now to test on...Best bet IMHO... would be numbered files.
Birthday (10001) .jpg
Birthday (10002) .jpg
Birthday (10003) .jpg
This can be done in a batch...
Navigate to the folder in which the files are saved... (not in the photo gallery
but in the actual file)... I'm guessing it's in your pictures folder.Open the folder containing the 357 photos and go...
View / details...You said you changed the 'Date taken' to sort photos...
If you click on the bar at the top of the column Date taken, you can
Sort photos... If the Date of the column is not visible, right-click
the bar and add it by selecting it in the list... (you may need to
choose... Continued... to find)OK, when the pictures are sorted... Right-click the first picture in the
the list and choose... Rename... Enter a descriptive word for the Group
and the number (10001)... do not forget the extension is included...Birthday (10001) .jpg
When you press on... Come in... Windows should rename other
files. If it works as it should... when burn you the CD... files
will be in order.Good luck...
In the first 11 items, how can I burn a DVD without menu? I think at some point, it was something I accidentally checked that says "don't show this again" which would have allowed me to do. How can I get that back?
See Edit Menu/preferences/general and the option "show all do not view message again. Check the status of the check box for it and set accordingly.
Please let us know if it worked for you. If this isn't the case, we will work on it even more.
Looking forward to your results.
Thank you.
