When detect physically written queries

Using CF5 and have done for many years.

Some reports of Crystal that we generate need some queries from coldfusion to run first to summarize complex data, these data are then inserted into temporary tables in the access database that crystal reports and then off.

Problem sometimes occurs when the server is busy updates of coldfusion and odbc are not instantaneous, so that crystal reports for young spectator on certain issues which are still ongoing in writing immediately.

Putting a delay of a few seconds before transferring them to the Crystal Viewer fixes most opportunities but I was wondering if there is a way to detect if the queries managed physically been written into the database.

Crystal Reports has the ability to take a break if a particular file is not present? I was thinking to create a 1 byte trigger file that is deleted before the update of the database and recreated once the update is complete.

  • What to do for the main database when a physical database ensures converts a standby time of the snapshot

    Hello

    Need of the primary database to implement the flashback database when a physical database ensures converts a standby time of the snapshot? Or something to do with the primary database? I find some documents this work to allow the return of flame for the primary databases, but I think that he didn't need to do.

    Thank you

    Best regards.

    I did recently, I have not configured flashback on primary, only configured in the standby mode. I converted the standby database and restored the changes after the test. Primary database continued to send archives to the standby site. Instant once converted into sleep mode, as mseberg mentioned overlaps with the sync state after starting MRP.

  • cRIO 9076 Unable to Detect physical channel

    Hi all

    I'm currently trying to acquire data using NOR cRIO 9076 controller integrated, but I am unable to create virtual channels using DAQmx. My situation is summarized below.

    Material:

    NEITHER cRIO 9076 integrated controller RT

    NI 9205 analog input module

    E/s digital NI 9403 module

    Software:

    LabVIEW 2011

    Compact-Rio 4.0

    MAX 5.0

    NOR-DAQmx 9.3

    All channels of the C-series module and chassis are visible in NOR Distributed System Manager and Labview Project Explorer.

    But when you use MAX to create a new task DAQmx, I can't detect the physical channels. The two NOR-DAQmx in Labview and right-click to headquarters of the MAX data to create NI DAQmx task / Global Virtual Channel give the message "No. supported Devices Found."

    In addition, material also doesn't seem to appear under "devices devices and Network Interfaces.  When comes to "find NI DAQmx your network equipment", he stated that "no devices were found. The controller was named "VIGREN. Detect manually by using the host name and intellectual property also failed to detect.

    My question is:

    1. How does the PC detects the chassis and modules, but when it come to NI DAQmx, it does not detect the physical channels? What is a software/hardware or network junk?

    2 not compatible with NI DAQmx RT 9076 cRIO controller? And that's why Scan Interface or Interface FPGA used instead? In light of the seamless functionality, I prefer to continue OR DAQmx to configure my acquisition of data.

    Thank you.

    Hi Vigren,

    I think you misunderstand some of the concept here.

    cRio is a real-time system and is not a DAQ board that you can not use DAQmx with it.

  • error 0x0000007E (XP) when no physical disk Boot Hiren boot USB (X 60)

    On my other (HP) machine boot Hiren that USB does work perfectly while no physical hard disk is present. It doesn't go into my X 60 laptop. I guess that's maybe a BIOS setting. Could you help me that that?

    Hello

    I've never used Hiren CD, but an 0x0000007e error when Microsoft Windows XP starts normally means that the SATA controller is not correctly defined in the BIOS.  Try enabling/disabling of AHCI in legacy (or vice versa) and see if that makes a difference.

  • Stop the engine when detects digital impulses of the reflective light sensor

    Hello

    I am doing my school project and I managed to make the deepening of the engine via digital port of the USB-6008 by setting the Boolean value of output in a while loop with use cases, but now I faced a problem because I have to use it with a reflective sensor and stop the engine when he feels a digital pulse. The sensor is configured as a counter using PFI0 on the USB-6008 with a circuit that will send in a digital pulse for data acquisition.

    How to stop the engine when the detector reflecting is blocked, and then start the deepening again when it is not blocked

    Thank you

    The top spot is always implemented as a counter.  You must change the DAQmx create channel as a digital input and the DAQmx interpreted as a Boolean variable digital 1 channel 1 sample.

    Hello;

    That's what I'd do:

    Primary backup (change in your directory as needed)

    RMAN RUN {
    allocate channel d1 type disk;
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/df_t%t_s%s_p%p' database;
    sql 'alter system archive log current';
    backup format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/al_t%t_s%s_p%p' archivelog all;
    backup current controlfile for standby format '/u01/backups/PRIMARY/sb_t%t_s%s_p%p';
    release channel d1;
    }

    Move the backup and duplicate like this:

    rman target sys/password@PRIMARY auxiliary /

    RMAN> run {
    allocate channel C1 device type disk;
    allocate auxiliary channel C2 device type disk;
    duplicate target database for standby nofilenamecheck;
    }

  • What to do when the physical server fails?

    We have VI3 Foundation edition (no VMotion) with three blades servers configured as host servers. Each host has so far about 5 VMs. All showed up at a SAN iSCSI with each host stressed it's own logic on the SAN unit number.

    I was wondering what to do, if anything, to prepare for a physical to die servers. Since we are on the shared storage, we would still be able to see the dead guests vmdk VM and other files, correct? Or the separate LUN will avoid this? Now we see them through the VMware Infrastructure Client but dead servers VMs will always show upward after that he died?

    If you can see the vmdk files and other files of the virtual machine, we can re - create a virtual machine of those afterwards or is there something we need to do now before the failure of a server?

    Thank you.

    If that fails, you can present the LUNS to a different host and

    register these virtual machines on this host (from cli or Datastore browser). Then start the machines virtual and if all goes well they all come back to the top. It would be a

    bit more complicated, but that's all.

  • How can I get data off my 4 WHS disks when configuring physical server goes down?

    I have / had a HP MediaSmart ex485 Windows Home Server with 1 + 3 SATA drives installed. Unfortunately, the server hardware has failed (it seems the PSU Board and sata) and the unit is out of warranty. I will not replace this server. • Can I create a static IP address for my virtual server when my physical network only has a dynamic IP address?

    Hi all!

    About, what I'm trying to do is to create an entire virtual network. I'm working on and studying for my MCSE and wanted to create a virtual server and a few virtual desktops.

    I wanted to put up a few roles on the server which (sort of) requires me to have a static IP address. My question is can I create something like a "static IP address make fun" to do?

    I prefer not to pay the additional sum of $ my ISP for a static IP address if I have to. Other than this virtualization project, I don't need a static IP address.

    Thank you!

    Create and internal network, then NAT so they can talk to the internet.

  • what the step to follow oracle when run select, delete, update...

    Hi expeerts,

    I want to know analysis thorough database oracle for performance - tuning. when we execute these queries as shown below in oracle. what oracle stage to execution. Please tell me step by step. my new in oracle, I try to understand what happens when we run these command. I have read a lot of blog and book but the thing very confuse me. Please help me solve these...

    Select (with where, order by, and group by clause) = >?

    Delete (with where clause) = >?

    Update (with where clause) = >?

    Truncate and drop = >?

    Reg,

    Hard

    The SELECT, DELETE, and UPDATE all the

    (a) read buffers of memory if it is already present in the memory

    or

    (b) retrieves the disk blocks in the buffers

    The DELETE and UPDATE statement must then update the buffer in memory.  The buffer can be written on the disc of "lazy" way by the DBWR process - that is to say the actual writing on the disk is postponed to later in time.  The changes caused by DELETING and UPDATING are captured in food stamps by progress and what is written on the disc as soon as or before a COMMIT is issued.

    The TRUNCATE causes a control point of the segment (ensure that all Sales belong to the table buffers are written to disk) before the scopes are released and updated by the high tide.

  • Physical media by configuration

    Hi Experts,

    Please help me with the below question:

    (1) I configured a physical support for Windows with oracle 10 g database. He works and repeat applies is to allow the mountain stage. Now here on the stage of the mount I have to manually run the commands to check reports like... redo applied, pending, status etc. I want to do with the job. My requirement is to configure all queries in a job so that I can receive self-publishing in my e-mail every two hours. Please check and help.

    (2) we do servers shutdown in the night and morning. When I place my physics am by server and check the status, it is in open mode. I have to stop and start again on stage at Mount and have to start over again apply back by gunfire from the command. I need to maintain it with a script so that the morning when my physical standby server it goes up auto will come to the stage of the mount and repeat applies should allow auto and after that I'm getting reports of synchronization with the main server in my mail according to point number one. Help, please.

    Assuming that Linux / Unix:

    My requirement is to configure all queries in a job so that I can receive self-publishing in my e-mail every two hours

    You have control when you say "I must manually run the commands to check reports like... redo applied, pending, status etc.."
    If you store these commands in a SQL script that wraps in a log file. Have the SQL script that is run by a shell script which then automatically sends the hold file to you.

    When I place my physics am by server and check the status, it is in open mode

    Apparently, you have activated the database through/etc/oratab autostartup (the third field is set to 'Y' for autostart).
    Disable auto-start and to write a have STARTUP NOMOUNT, ALTER DATABASE MOUNT STANDBY DATABASE initialization script, RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE DISCONNECT FROM SESSION

  • T400 emits a sound when moved

    Sometimes when I physically move my laptop T400, he'll beep light... anyone know what this may be?

    Earlier, I had turned it slightly and even that caused it. I think I should call Lenovo, but I wanted to know if anyone has experienced this or if its normal.

    Thank you

    I think I can have thought of it.  I read on some computers laptops beep when the hard drive is stopped by the protection system and looks like maybe she's.  It seems that the system is just letting you know that a shock has been detected.

  • How to integrate flash with detection animation

    Hi - I want to integrate a film less an image of the banner in a web page. I want to use the flash detection so that the right player is used. I have Flash 8 Professional so he spits a HTML page with the detection script written in flash. In the body section of the HTML is a < script > tag with the document.write called if detection is successful. What I tried to do is to put my banner image in a div above the script tag. This seems to work in Firefox but give me a little bit stretched image banner and a little bit stretched flash animation when I try the page in IE7.
    I have attached my HTML below. Why is this happening?

    I found the answer - I used a dynamic positioning of elements in a file of javacript and uses document.documentElement.clientHeight to get the clientheight. IE7 is no longer recognizes it and started using the standards document.body.clientHeight.
