  (1) can you try to start Firefox in Mode safe to see if Firefox works correctly without error? You can start Firefox in Mode safe below:

  • Windows/Mac: choose Help > restart with disabled modules
  • Linux: run firefox-safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole

  If Firefox opens fine with no problems, it is probably one of your extensions that is causing the problem. You can reactivate your modules one by one until you find the one that is causing the problem to be re-activated.

  Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

  To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  You can try and remove the disc, remove the write protection (by reversing a tab on the disk), and then try again.

  If you do not have the valve on the USB, try the following steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Click Start , type regedit.exe and press ENTER.

  2. navigate to the following location:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrrentControlSet\Control

   

  3. control with the right mouse button and select new and key.

  4. call it as StorageDevicePolicies.

  5. click on StorageDevicePolicies and on the right pan right click and select new > DWORD and name it as WriteProtect.

  6 double-click it and set its value to 0.

  This will disable the write protection on USB/flash drives.

  Restart your computer and check to see if that fixes the problem.

  I usually use the option "save under" which is often offered as an option under the file menu to rename a document.

  Recently, I installed Adobe Acrobat DC on my computer. The problem, I founded, is that when I try to use the option "Save as" on a previously opened pdf document I get a new window (here, everything is OK) but this window is completely white, without any box, nothing. One's absolutely imposible to do something with this window. I would like to understand this. Is an installation problem? I tried to use Save as on a single pdf that come from scanned documents.

• Problem of cached values when I want to run the report again

  I have a page of interactive report which run through two criteria by virtue of which start date and end date. Once I enter the valleys of the date and click on the button create, then the report appears below. My problem is, once I go back to home page back to the report page to create another report, and I see that the date values are cached report is already created with previous values. What I need is once the page is running in the first, date values must be reset.

  You can reset the date start and end in two ways:
  1) go to the entrance of list change (i.e. the link) you are accessing the report page.
  In the target section: set the property to Empty the Cache with the number of your report page.
  This clears the memory cache for your report page.

  (2) If you want to reset only the begin and end date elements - you will need to create a process to clear the cache
  that runs when the page is loaded.
  Go to the creation of process
  Category: State of Session
  Type: clear the Cache for the elements (POINT, POINT, POINT)
  Point: when loading - before header
  Enter the elements delimited by "," (example: MY_ITEM1, MY_ITEM2, MY_ITEM3)
  Create processes.

  Experienced a severe slowness and lock-up with Firefox to the end, which ends with a sharp decline in the use of memory and I have repeatedly shut down by the Task Manager. I created a new profile and disabled hardware acceleration. I tried to disable all plug-ins and extensions, but I noticed that sometimes (not always) plugin container was always an active process, I don't understand. Why would it be active when there is no plugin activated? I also noticed that when the plugin container is not active (list under process in the Task Manager), I don't have this problem and Firefox works normally? I need to block the plugin container. Help, please.

  If you have deactivated plugins and plugin-container should not be executed. It's one of the reasons I suggested malware scans.

  The Windows XP Task Manager lists the processes running. It will list the plugin - container.exe but I don't think it goes further. IIRC a Sysinternals utility was required to get information on the processes associated with the plugincontainer.

  Microsoft will now offer free downloads and documentation for which is the Sysinternals software.

  Or is the problem change the menu (orange button Firefox) compact in Firefox 20? In Firefox 20, new window is now a choice secondary on the new tab, as shown in the attached screenshot. Historically, I press Ctrl + n, I didn't notice that until that earlier.

  When you click on run 64-bit DxDiag it minimizes the window. But it performs the test and you can click next page to view the errors.
