Hi, I use Apple Photos to create a photo book.  When I export to PDF, photos that are over 2 pages are exported as a single PDF page.  For printing purposes, I want this to export in the form of 2 separate pages.  I did this with iPhoto in the past and this could be something to do with the preferences of Adobe.  I contracted Apple and their export seems thin e (or 2 separate pages). Any ideas?

If you have not Acrobat is installed, then clearly, it's a matter of Apple having nothing to do with any "setting Adobe." There is nothing we can do at Adobe to help you. Sorry!

When I open a new document for print in indesign, which is the default document PPI?

There is no such association resolution level file in InDesign. The elements of your InDesign layout retain their respective characteristics; a 72 DPI raster image can coexist with a 300 ppi raster image and a 150 ppi raster image, as well as resolution independent vector graphics and text; and they all remain exactly as they are, independently of each other with respect to the resolution.

There is no online version. The software is downloaded, installed and run locally.

The cloud refers to licensing only and it is related to your identification code Adobe no serial number is issued.

The two activations allowed with each license are not for sharing. They are both to be used by the same subscriber of cloud.

If you subscribe for yourself, your contractor may not share it. And vice versa. If you need the software, you need two separate subscriptions.

When you choose a webcam for use with host character, should what features I look for in the webcam? For example, choose the one that captures full HD (1080 p)? Or any webcam will work? I just want to be able to make the motion capture process as easy as possible, so I think I must look over the webcam plug before you buy.

Any webcam should work, but a higher resolution can improve the accuracy of tracking. Adequate/same lighting on your face is too important.

I use display spectral pitch to analyze changes people´s speech (for research purposes). I need the visuals of interesting changes to the basic blue line to document my results in the articles. It has more sophisticated way to do than to take a screenshot? It is very short sequences consisting of a few words I need to visualize somehow on a scale of hertz.

Hearing is not really adapted to the analysis of speech on a very basic level, I fear. He does not have analysis by Wavelet, or something like that and certainly won't break down whatever it is complex in its components. What you really need is a software dedicated at the end of the analysis of speech, and some of it is free - try this: Praat: doing Phonetics by computer

  • When I transfer a file from photoshop into indesign, what is the best format for printing purposes?

Let me give you a little background here. I do my mini portfolio. It is a collection of works of my choice. I place objects in Indesign. I placed Indesign and Illustrator files in Indesign without going through problems of impressions pixelated. When I placed a Photoshop file in Indesign my pixelated image slightly. Guys can help me solve my problem? Thank you.

You must ensure that the files have a sufficient number of pixels at a certain size and a certain ppi.

    For example, to print an image of 8 x 10 inches at 300 dpi, you need 2400 x 3000 pixels. (8 x 300 per 10 x 300)

If you resize the image upwards in Indesign, the ppi will be reduced. Choose the image and let effective ppi in the links Panel.

If th pixelation only happens in Indesign and not when printing, do a right-click on the image in the layout and choose display performance > high quality display.

You can also set in display performance preferences.

But what you see in Indesign is in any case an overview of reduced quality, not the original.

  • Use Photoshop for printing large format

I have a chart that's about 5' x 6' and he uses a cominbation to photos and vector smart objects.

A large number of places are accpecting of PSD files, and I thought since there are the vector elements in the PSD file that it fits well.

I'll be proof and type are a little blurry when you're about 4 feet away.

I told her the blurry text and they said that they would perfer in illustrator, so I recreated the Illustrator file and placed all of them in there.

I thought that it would just be easier to do all my work in Photoshop.

What is the problem that I get when I use a PSD file to present my work?

There is also a question of banding. But they say they can fix this.

Let me answer some of your post...

-It is a common misconception.  The seller's right.  A PSD file that big can produce problems in the INVESTIGATION period.  Try not to depend on the file .psd with vector objects.  They don't really evolve as you would expect.

-Yes.  Printers digital large format are used in conjunction with the emulators of Postscript level 3 of RIP or Postscript.  The best file format is an EPS Illustrator file to scale (OK, you like EPS, then submit a file have native if you must... Sorry, just to speak poorly informed lugheads there) with Photoshop 'Place' (EPS, tiff, psd) files.  The advantage is that you will get a sharp text and, if your images are great photo reproduction size correctly.

The strapping was a little worried.  They say they can fix this.  So, maybe they test work on a lower output device?  I suggest you get the specifications of the supplier in writing.  For example, to print .icm; RIP; number of inks, etc.  But the long and too late, you may even submit PDF and have the RIP expand the file.  I usually work at 25% actual size with 300ppi (the final image = 75ppi res) images with a resolution of pixelation set to 'high '.  All good workflow will have no problem resizing the Ai, EPS or PDF 400% in the INVESTIGATION period.  I did it, I do it and the banners of flawless printing.

Is it possible to use Adobe Flash instead of adobe photoshop to generate images for PRINTING?

How about the CMYK settings? I have a problem with that? Please I need an expert at that too.

N ° Flash would be one of the applications more bad substitute to Photoshop to create art for printing. If you use something other than Photoshop, you can use Illustrator, it is specifically designed to create artwork for printing.

Flash has no direct method for CMYK output.

  • Photoshop Elements print only middle-third of the image

I tried to print an A4 image in portrait A4 paper orientation.  The printer settings are all correct, the picture looks OK on preview before print side, including a little white line all the way around, but only the middle third of the image prints; the top and bottom are missing.

Can anyone please offer any suggestions as to what I could do?  Thank you.

Edit: I found that if I save the same image as a .jpg file and open it in Windows Photos app it will display properly, so I guess it's a setting in Photoshop that I missed.

Suggest that you visit the HP support for drivers page. They list a universal (64-bit) driver for your model and another driver updated 08/25/16.

HP Software and Driver Downloads for HP printers, laptops, desktop computers and more. HP® customer support

Note: The default driver page is for WIN7. There is a button "Edit" to the right where you can go to WIN10 on the menu drop down.

It may be prudent to call HP support for help - can't hurt - if you can't fix it.

They have a forum as well.

When I do the same with my laptop (with Vista) HP, I get the printed page.

    Hi john1019,

    (1) is this problem limited to the pages of e-mail? You are able to print very well other applications?

  • I've been subscribing to the 9.99 lightroom and photoshop for almost a year. Under the applications in the creative cloud, it shows that Lightroom needs to be installed. Why?

I've been subscribing to the 9.99 lightroom and photoshop for almost a year. Yet, when I go to the tab on the creative cloud applications he repeatedly told that I have to install lightroom. However, for photoshop it is said that I have to update the application. When I check in Lightroom under updates, it says my software is up to date. Why is this happening?

Yes, it's confusing, but simply install the new version of Lightroom. In the creative cloud application Lightroom still shows as a facility not as an Update.

  • Color setting in CS4 for print on Epson R2400 to the United Kingdom?

Hi all. I am a newbie to CS4 and struggled to pronounce on the color settings to use with what profle/standard printer.  I have an Epson Stylus R2400 printer and I'm not sure what must be paid for color printing on the Epson Premium glossy in the United Kingdom. All the /videos info I've seen refer to North America and I'm not sure if I should use these settings or prepress 2 Europe.  I have currently defined profile of the printer in the Adobe RGB (1998), but have the option to choose the profile SPR2400 Premium Glossy with Matt, fine arts (that I downloaded from Epson .com and I believe to be a profile of US and I don't know if it's the right using the United Kingdom) and others. Can someone tell me please!

    Regards Denis
