When vDR to perform full backups?
I'll set up an installation of vDR test as a proof of concept, and contrary to read the documentation, it appeared on me... when vDR do full backups? I know that the first virtual computer backup is a complete and incremental after that. But when the following is executed? I did some Google'ing and looking through the documentation, but have not yet found an answer.
Currently I ave the configuration of the backup task to keep 6 daily backups every 4 weeks and 1 month. When the first full backup has expired, another take? Also, is it possible to force a full backup on one computer virtual other than to create a new backup job?

My understanding is that VDR still to complete and never traditional backups "extra." However, given that the backup data store uses a deduplication technology each "Full" backup will only grow with the blocks changed since the last backup.

Yes, the backup can not be performed if the destination drive is selected in the backup list, if it is selected, then be sure to uncheck this drive and then proceed to the backup or if you want to include this backup disk, and then you must select a different destination location.

The HARD disk has several partitions (I guess 2 partitions)
The backup procedure works fine if you safe data only from single partition, but it crashes if you try to create a backup of all partitions of set. Am I wrong?My first question; What backup utility do you use?
Are you sure that this backup tool supports the backup of the two partitions at the same time?I put t know if it will help but a similar problem happened to me.
I've used Norton ghost and I wasn't able to create a backup of a partition.The procedure began, but after several minutes, the screen goes white and the notebook frisottés.
I ran the scandisk, chkdsk and I defragment the whole HARD drive.This helped!

How to fix error 8007045 D message when you perform a backup of windows?
I got in trouble, make a backup of Windows of the Sony VAIO laptop from a parent on a 1 TB drive "My Passport".
Backup failed to complete (the system image + backup windows).
When I did a regular backup of Windows, all files selected by Windows, it worked.
When I then try to make the system 'image' backup, I get the following:

The USB is formatted to NTFS, if that's relevant.When I accessed the system utility checks the C drive, he had me to restart the computer and the drive for errors on a reboot of audit, but which did not find any problem. I guess I need to start from a CD instead of starting from the hard disk, in order to be able to run the "CHKDSK/r" on the C: drive as well as two other partitions.
Am I missing something? Should I use the "boot CD" we created, boot in the BACK and then do the CHKDSK /R on the C drive?
(I'm really uncomfortable about messing around with C drive until I have a backup, but because of a possible problem on the C drive, I can't do the backup... or is there something else I need to do next?)

This afternoon I contacted support for Microsoft Windows and had a "chat" with one of the support technicians. He told me to START to > ACCESSORIES > COMMAND PROMPT that I clicked on and does: "run as administrator.
I then entered: chkdsk /f /r so that I was in a directory on the C drive.
(I'm guessing / r means read all the information and the /f to fix any problems that are found).
The computer has restarted and began a long inspection of the C drive, taking about two or three hours or more. Meanwhile, he finds two clusters defective and added to the table 'bad cluster. I took a picture of the screen, so I don't know what file he has identified as having problems.
The process is complete, the computer restarts, and I was able to make the "system image" backup without any problem.
Thanks for your help. Between you and other colleagues at Microsoft, not only, I know what it takes the next time, I have a better understanding of what is happening. (How to mark this discussion as "resolved"?)

I assume you mean that you run Windows in a virtual machine such as Parallels? If so, the machine virtual peut must be updated.
When you install Snow Leopard, make sure to choose the option to do a custom install, so you can select the check box for Rosetta, or it will not install and PowerPC applications will not run. Not a huge deal if you miss. The first time you try to run a PPC application if Rosetta has not been installed, OS X offers to download and install it for you.
Firefox works under Snow Leopard, which is the oldest version of OS X Mozilla always supports. Safari installed with SL will remain grossly outdated and should not be used.
Nothing will happen to your documents, although I can't say with certainty that all the apps from third party that allows you to open will not be updated. They can. They cannot. For example, Office 2004 will run as long as Rosetta is installed.

Two problems: weak performance and backup of stall
First problem
I have problems with the performance of my computer at the moment. I may have a virus/malware issue, but I'm not 100% certain. I ran Norton, analyses, analyses of registry, Ad-Aware, disk cleanup and disk defragmentation. However, none of them is no problem. I tried to run a system restore, but once the computer is restarted, it says that it failed. I also tried CCleaner and followed a few steps that Microsoft offered online; I went to start selective, unchecked "Load Startup items" and disabled services.
Second problem
This led to a second problem. As a precaution, I made sure that my data was backed up on my external hard drive. He said that it was not saved for a year (it has notified never me). I went to manually back up, and I made sure there is enough space. When he started to back up (after the creation of a 'cliché' and "scan files"), it freezes to a file under the actual file called "Chrome.cab". I uninstalled Chrome, but which did not help either. I have to hard start the computer because it hangs at this point.

Archive newspaper vs. Full Backup Concept

I just need some clarification on how backups and Archives Records work. Lets say from 13:00 I have archive records 1,2,3,4,5 and then I perform a full backup at 18:00.
I take then generate logs archiving at 18:00 to get newspapers 6,7,8,9,10. Then, I stop at 23:00.
If my interpretation is correct, the archive logs should allow me to restore oracle to a point in time anywhere between 13:00 and 23:00. But if I have only the full backup, then I can only restore to a single point, which is from 18:00. My understanding is correct?
Archive logs only applied to data files during backup or only during a restore? There is no archive newspaper applied on the fly.

If time machine is incremental how it removes previous versions when the disk is full, without breaking the chain, so do not be able to restore the file with any changes made since the full backup first file...
If the TM drive storage is full TM automatically deletes the version the oldest files for the new incremental backups can be made. Thus, in this case you cannot restore the versions that TM deleted because it takes more storage.

Time Machine - keep backups on a disk-without having a full backup?
After that I moved all my old backup data on a new player and liked that I expected Time Machine (TM) just continue where we left it when the smaller drive has been marked as complete. On the contrary, it seems that TM took a full backup take a lot of space for backups that already existed between the data leave the smaller drive?
This kind of destroyed the concept of TM "incremental forever" which I assumed could survive a movement of backup of data from a smaller to a larger drive?
If I missed something along the way I would like to be reminded...

About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:

Don't know what to do next to timing of recovery. Can someone give me some pointers?

Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.
Before taking each of these steps, quit (leave by force if necessary) application. After taking stage, recovery and test. When the problem is solved (or when you have completed step 3 without resolving), stop and close the library folder.

Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ library
in the Finder menu bar. In the folder that opens, move these items (some may not exist) to the trash, leaving the open library folder:

Move these files to the library folder on the desktop (even once, some cannot exist):
Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent (and all others with a start of name in 'com.apple.Calendar')
Containers/com.apple.iCal (and all others with a name in 'com.apple.iCal' beginning)
Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist
Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist
If the problem is resolved, you may be able to put some of the items you have moved in this stage, recovery and testing after each of them. Finally, you can find the one that caused the problem; Delete it. Re-create your settings if necessary.
If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.
Step 3
Move this folder on the desktop:
Calendars
Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.
If the problem is resolved after you move the calendars folder, the event database is corrupted. You have these choices:
Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.
Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.
For the calendar network accounts, such as iCloud, all you need to do is re-enter the preferences. For subscribed calendars, simply re - subscribe.

Whenever I try to print a PDF online or a document of microsoft word or powerpoint ect., it prints in black and white. I did a test of color of the printer and align the cartridges and everything went well. The properties are not set to print in gray
