  What version of Windows are you on and what service pack level?  Have you tried to install remove\re games yet?  If this is not the case try of removing\re - install games and see if this changes the behavior.  Also, be sure that you are current with all updates and hardware drivers as well.   to read the key out of your old system.

  Also note that if you have a system OEM and the OEM installation disks, the key can be incorporated in the installation discs and can not be necessary when your reinstalling Windows.

  Your MP3 player should have 2 settings - MSC that should allow the player to be used as a
  external drive and PSG that is the parameter to use to sync with WMP11. Remove the MP3
  and restart the computer. Change the MP3 in MTP mode - it power off and plug it in.

  Has disappeared? Try file-> open the new item, and then select each illustrated catalog until you find the catalog with your photos.
