  You can create a model Muse page and then select the "include page without hyperlink" option in the Menu of page Options.

  The menu will display an entry for this page, but it will not have a hyperlink. You must do this for both of the things you're trying to accomplish.

  For the menu item, you want to go to another site, you can click on the menu in Design view item and assign a hyperlink that is customized by using the hyperlink control in the controlstrip, as 'http://www.some-other-site.com/some-page.html'.

  I don't know what cursor does not respond, you use? If its does not then uses a reagent. There are several options available to use if you use Google. • Need Suggestions - Web Site works in Firefox and Safari but not Internet Explorer

  Hello all;

  I need to develop a web site quickly in Dreamweaver and I made the basic design and works perfectly on Firefox and Safari, but for some reason, I have a strange behavior on Internet Explorer that I havn't been able to understand. I would like to see if someone can help me because it makes me crazy.

  The first photo shows a screenshot if Internet Explorer. Note is how IE spaces between my graphics in my menu on the left. IE is Horrible. I used CSS, not tables. The image below is a screenshot of Firefox and it shows how it should look.

  I loaded a prototype demonstration at www.dedula.net/balloonsat if you have time to check the actual code. Also, could someone tell me how to center the image in a browser? I see all the web sites are centered, but mine is positioned to the left. I'm guessing there's a CSS trick for that. Thank you 1 million.

  You will see that it is described as being for IT and the developers, but it is no different than the same file that you can download from the Windows Update site (if you can get there).

  I am facing a big enough task to work. Here's the scenario: there is a web site (AKA the parent domain) parent who is using the Site. The web site parent has several subsites (subdomains). Each of those subsites need to have their own help, which may be different from using the Site displayed in the site parent, but still need to use the same source files and output. Creating different projects for each subdomain is not an acceptable option for several reasons. We must be able to 'turn on' and 'disable' visibility in selected pages and information on the selected pages.
  
  How can this be accomplished without generating (and the maintenance of separate projects) for each subdomain?
  
  Example usage: using the Site for the website parent has three help pages to create a survey - 1) seizure of analytical data, 2) download the survey and 3) edition of the survey. On the Edit poll page, there are 5 fields containing information that the user can change. Site Help for the subdomain of the web site parent may just have two of the help pages - enter summary information and edit (no download page of the survey) survey. Also, on the edit poll page, only 3 of the 5 fields can be changed - the other 2 fields must not be displayed using the Site for the subdomain.
  
  How can I use the same Site Help for the web site parent and the subdomain (i.e. use the same source files and output files), but hide the loading survey page and hide the 2 of the 5 fields on the edit poll page in aid of the Site for only the subdomain? I already thought about the use of conditional compilation tags, but it seems to me that this would require generating different projects (for example, different output files) and I doubt that it will be an acceptable solution for our needs.

  Your product "structure" reminds me of product from my client. Four years ago, it was similar to your description. Today, it has evolved and applications 'tailor-made' are based on a basic application, but EVERYTHING is kept separate until subdirectories for each topic within the app. Even my help reflects this subdirectory of application and the file naming convention. This makes it much easier to keep track of all of the project for a client gave (the 18 500 files for my client).

  If possible, to manage the aid project in pieces. Due to the structure of the domain (subdirectory) void help right from the start. The only place where it gets referenced is in the Site Help links and this is better managed as projects merged, as suggested by Peter Grainge.

  The 'core' Help is that you create and provide to the developers of project. Don't forget to provide a detailed list of the names, titles, functions, etc., and instructions on how to import basic assistance in a new project to help customize for customer. With this approach, you need separate directories of project on your servers as each project custom generated help will have common file names but different content. The positive side to this is easy using the Site maintenance when a subproject of field is updated.

  So how is your architect approaching the application? Do you use a container (common) window with other frames, fields, or combination of the two, which are populated based on a previous selection? Or y at - it a unique window based on a previous selection? How aid is requested in GUI - a help button / icon, hotkey - the call triggers a JavaScript written to your application toolbar? You use the simple call to RoboHelp style or is it suitable for reading the file name of the displayed content window? Could use a lot more information to help set up an approach.

  I think you have a lot to plan in advance and more than one session of stop in the head with the developers. Good luck!

  I've been down all the instructions on the Firefox support forum, and nothing has worked. The question may not be the Web site certificate, because it happens to EVERY SINGLE website I try to access. Nevertheless, I have add an exception for Facebook according to the instructions. That caused a strange page, not formatted to come. Since, I have read that to make an exception is dangerous because it can cause MORE unwanted malware to infect the computer.

  However, I did figure it out on my own so maybe this will help those who are facing this problem in the future: after reading the past messages from those who have experienced the same thing, I realized that, in all cases, the solution was to remove some kind of unwanted software (malware). I'm very careful NOT to download the software and I noticed that another victim of this says the same thing, so it's sneaky. I even bought new software (Norton) antivirus, performed a scan and the problem has not been found.

  I went to programs "to uninstall programs," sorted by date and anything that looked suspicious that was recently removed. I had something with the word "rocket" in it. It looked like a game. There is also another program that I removed (don't remember the name of it now). Removing those does not solve the problem, so I returned through all programs on my list and removed something that said "toolbar" on this topic, even if it was reliable (I had a bing and google toolbar). That doesn't seem to work either so I sort the programs by date again and I noticed that the software "rocket" was ALWAYS THERE.

  I have a click with the right on it and then click on 'uninstall' button again. It takes unusually LONG for this program uninstall AND nothing appears on the screen. The computer has just sort of is there and does nothing. I left and when I came back (about an hour later) the program had disappeared from the list.

  Firefox now works. I no longer receive this message, but here's the deal: I'm not 100% sure what program was the problem. It was this software of rocket or one of the toolbars. Nevertheless, the answer always seems to be some kind of unwanted malware, so I recommend that any victim of this problem try to uninstall the suspicious programs initially. And this means that ALL suspicious programs are RECENT, regardless of if they resemble games or antivirus or another. If it is new and you do not download it, uninstall it.
