Where 9.1 Safari stores bookmarks?

Where Safari 9.1 doesn't store bookmarks on my Mac? What is the location of the folder? What is the format and name?

I want to do a specific copy of it in his file and on a USB key to carry around with me.

http://Macs.about.com/od/usingyourmac/Qt/Safari-bookmarks-backup.htm

Safari 3.x and later all store the bookmarks as a file plist (property list) called Bookmarks.plist, located in the home directory/library/Safari.

where is iWeb files store in OSX El Captain v. 10.11.2?

Can not find any directory under the "Library - Application Support" iWeb as suggested a few comments on the internet.

Furthermore, can someone advise how to download the web site created by iWeb to internet, I tried "upload" function of iWeb and he just direct me to log on to the iCloud account.

    Thank you very much

If you use a Mac with El Capitan, then there will not be any store for iWeb, because new Mac which not been shipped with iWeb for a long time.

However, if you happened to load iWeb on your Mac from a disc, and then iWeb stores files of domain.sites under your user/Library/Application Support.  / Library/Application Support is the library system and you won't find anything here .

To access your library from the user, you must click on the menu go upstairs and then press the 'alt key ' to your user library, but you may create, as the Mac ship automatically with iWeb, as has been the software not supported for the last 4 years or so now.

To publish a site on the web, you need to get an account among many hosters autour - GoDaddy web hosting etc.  If you don't have a hosting account, that means first to register a domain name of your choice and then to buy the hosting for this, you will not be able to publish.  iCloud offers no accommodation, only a storage.

Go to GoDaddy and register and domain name and purchase hosting and then download your site.

Maybe you should consider new software also, like iWeb is old and not taken care of, then take a look at EverWeb instead.

Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

When I try to use the Windows Update link for my XP computer and after using Windows Mr. Fix - It, I get a message indicating that the location where the Windows Update stores data has changed and must be repaired. How can I solve this problem?

I'm not that computer literate and do not understand what needs to be fixed.

This problem just started a few weeks when I noticed that I had any recent download automatic update that I regularly get. So I tried to do it manually through access via my control panel.

I use ESET Antivirus Node32 software.

    Hello

    1. What is the error message or an exact error code?

2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    3. you try to check the updates?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Reset Windows Update components and then try to download the updates.

    gettyO,

So, were you able to recover your bookmarks? If so, you could mark the post with the answer that solved your question?

(We shouldn't blame Maurane if you misunderstood his reply or did not notice that he linked to article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data when he wrote "profile folder".) Article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data explains the location of the profile and the content).

On the places.sqlitefile: this isn't just a file "bookmarks". It also contains your browsing history.

More information: (in case you want another way to restore your bookmarks, now or in the future). Firefox 3 and above automatically creates backups of your bookmarks and stores them in the Firefox profile, under the "bookmarkbackups" folder folder, in the form of files in JSON dated the bookmark. You can use the instructions in the article restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer to restore one of these any place bookmark backups. Use the option 'Choose file' and browse to the folder that contains backups of bookmarks that you want to use.

  • Where to download Safari for OSX Yosemite?

I had trouble with Safari on my desktop Mac (OSX Yosemite) so I uninstalled.

Anyone know where I can download a new installation of Safari 9.0.2 without having to upgrade to El Capitan?

    Thank you

You will need to reinstall OS X. There is no standalone download for Safari.

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive

HD recovery start: restart the computer after the ring, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until the menu screen appears.

Repair the hard drive and permissions: at startup, select in the main menu disk utility. Repair hard disk and permissions as follows.

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab, and then click the repair disk button. If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then again run repair disc until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions . Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.

Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.

  • Where my application should store the images when I don't want to see them built in app Gallery?

I was storing images cached in shared/downloads/myappname but they appeared in the gallery app.

So I stored in tmp / but it seems that they are endangered after restarting the application.

Then I moved the data int / which seems OK, but I can't use MediaPlayer as an icon of NowPlaying.

What is the best place where store the images cached Internet I want to share with other applications?

Y at - there no way how programmatically exclude some photos of the gallery app?

If I'm not mistaken, the misc folder is excluded.

Files or folders starting with a point should be ignored, because the convention under QNX is to hide the files/folders to the user. Not sure if the media indexer adheres to it.

You can also try to put a .noindex or .metadata_never_index file in the folder that contains your images (notice the period at the beginning)

  • where he auditioning cc store files peak?

    Hello

I'm under cc hearing under w8.1 pro 64-bit

in the preferences-> audio-> I activated the automatic generation of peak

well may I know where cc stores these files peak?

because I used total Commander and sought .pk and .pkf but nothing, there is no files with the extension in all my hard drives

    Thank you

Both of your statements are incorrect, I'm afraid. On large files, .pkf files can speed up the opening of their considerably, even if you don't notice big difference on a smaller.

MP3 files do not support .pkf files at all. If you think that you found them compared to an open file, it will be because that hearing created one for the decoded MP3 (IE a wav file) that she used - it cannot directly open MP3 files.

  • Where PSE does not store the files on a Mac

I just installed 10 PSE on my MacBook. I had been using Iphoto'08, but when I bought a new camera, I wanted something more sophisticated to organize my photos and editing and improve their.

So far, I installed 10 PSE with success and played with him. The Organizer works well and does what I want it to do. My intention is to use Organizer for new photos and leave the "old" about Iphoto for now. However, what I can not function, is where PES stores files on Mac after that I have working on it. It doesn't look like they are back in Iphoto, as I made changes to the photos that do not appear in there.

Can someone enlighten me on this?

Yes, that's all. You have now. PSE does not normally create something other than a database entry, not a new file.
