Where a - save for web - went to the CC 2015

I was shocked when I went to update a web image through DSP and went to save for web, to see that it is not available.

I can't believe that such an essential element would be deleted.

Is there another way to access?

Save for the Web has been moved to the file > export menu. The shortcut remains the same.

Over time, Adobe will be phased out save for the Web and replacing it with the new Export feature as, but is that all of the features in save for Web are accessible to the breast to export it as.

    Hello

    1. were you able to see the front dialog box?

    2. did you of recent changes to the computer?

This happens because your screen resolution is less than the required minimum of 1024 x 768.

You can try to change the resolution of the monitor and check.

  • Save for Web and devices, the operation could not be completed

I get this error when I save for Web and devices: the operation could not be performed.

I saved to the web before for many more complex images, largest and without a hitch.

I use a psd format with an image that I designed. It is no more complex than others I've done. It is small, just a horizontal navigation bar about the size of the one on Apple's site.

I tried exporting, flattening, slicing it remove the slices.

I think it's a problem with the application itself.

I tried to fix my permissions, restart and held cmd, Opt, Control, Shift when starting PS to reset the settings. Any idea would be appreciated.

Try to pass like a Flash, and then delete your backup for web Pref.

I am a user of Photoshop CC. Regularly, I do updates and restart my computer after the updates are complete. I feel (because I compared it with others) that for some reason any under the menu 'FILE', 'Save for web' option is no longer available to me but it is for all other people, compared with. It didn't download right? Can I have a bug or something? Please help me solve this problem, as I have no idea what to do or if I even have a good download of PS CC. Thank you!

  • Photoshop CC: Save for Web - the file or directory is not found.

I have Photoshop CC installed on a Mac laptop and everything works fine. I recently installed Photoshop CC on my iMac and when I try to save for Web, I get the error "the file or directory is not found." ...

As far as I know, all parameters are the same as they are on my laptop. This file is not found? Where do I get it? I tried to uninstall Photoshop CC and reinstall, but that solves nothing.

  • CS6 Question w/save for Web, do not use the Document DPI

I'm creating an Action where I take a document large PSD format (photography) and change the size of the image at 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the long side of the photo. If the action flattens the image and then modified the image 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the longest side. The Action then runs thru photo save for Web, while this does not reduce the file size and it creates the appropriate pixel dimensions, it does not recognize the change DPI and delivers the original document of 360 DPI.

I can take the same image, resize the image at 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the longest side and then "save under" a jpg file. This always creates a 72 DPI jpg. What gives save for Web?

The PPI figure is stored as metadata. If the Metadata in SFW parameter is set to 'All' the 360 PPI is preserved.

So any setting less than 'All' will throw the Print metadata and set a default value of 72 DPI.

  • 'Save for web' and PS issues touch the color?

Thanks to those who help on my last request.

Another thing I couldn't see, is how I can maybe 'save for web', similar to that in the full program of the elements. A handy feature that I can't not far back in the Touch program.

Maybe this isn't a feature included, because I do not know there had to be several Cup back to facilitate the price of the touch program.

I use the installation of 'filler' for the background to get the color as close to my site I can get.  The problem is that when I format the following image on my list, the color, I selected previously is no longer listed, so have to use the slider to get to back to the color.

Is there a way I can save my colors, or better yet use colors 'web '?

I think the thing about web colors in the elements is so that the color is the same view of any monitor, for example a customer looks at one of my Web site? Or of course I could be very wrong here!

    Thanks for any input.

In elements I use 'Save for web' and select the background color as CC99CC - for example, it would be the same thing every time.

Whereas it is in contact, this does not seem possible?

    Customize your color to 1

    Once finished, press 2

Press 3 to add color to your palette. This color should be available next time. (Don't forget to type 2. This is where your custom colors are stored).

As far as the "web safe" colors go, the best thing to do is to use the icon between 1 and 2 and specify RGB and enter the values associated with the colors of the secure web. You can then create a palette using the method above. (TIP: to get rid of colors in a palette, just off flick.)

  • Unable to save a slice with the original size using save for Web

    Hello

For some odd reason, I can't increase the percentage more 45.84% in the section of the dialog Web Image size, save for

so whenever I have save a slice, it ends up to half the original size.

    Screen Shot 2016-05-31 at 13.19.01.png

I remember ever change a setting that can get there... How Photoshop could prevent you to save your image in original size?

Please help me. I manage to get the slice in the original size now to meet the deadline for my project.

As far as I know, photoshop for the web economy imposes a limit of size about 8182 pixels height or width and if the range or image is larger, save for web shows that the image/slice has been resized.

The strange part is if is not a click on one of the options the Image size, the image/slice seems to be saved in the original format, even if it is greater than 8192 pixels in height or width.

  • Generator is not using the algorithms of "save for Web"?

I use the generator for a while, but I noticed that the files are different in size and quality, so if I just saved for the web.

It seems more like the generator uses "save under" two save files and not the "save for web" which is the standard for preparing files for the web and devices

If anyone else has noticed that? can confirm?

OK - generator does not use SaveForWeb, but uses instead a stand-alone library to save its image files.

  • Save for web allows the entire artboard in CS5 why?

In CS4 when I hit save for web he would show only the art I want to recorded. Now if I have a logo of save for web saves the art jury in CS5. How can I change this just save the logo

In the save for Web & devices, click the Image Size tab in the dialog on the right box and uncheck the Clip in the box on the artboard. This is probably a toggle and be remembered for next time.

  • Save for web 72 dpi

    CS5 running on a 64-bit win 7 PC...

When I use the option 'save for web' and select the 'include all the metadata information '.

the recorded image (jpeg) isn't to 72 dpi, which is much better for the web, this is apparently the idea for our screens resolution.

Instead it saves it at 300ppi

(no please no debate on 72 dpi v's XXX ppi, there are enough posts on it).

But if you disable metadata option 'include' then the image save as a jpg 72 dpi that I need.

Someone has an answer to that.

There is no reason why an image can be saved at 72 dpi and have metadata.

Assumed that the entire function "save for web" is on the optimization of the image for this reason.

This looks like a bug to me?

so we're back to integrate adobe original, this feature for some reason, we all can edit, size of the image in PS, easy goto

But adobe added this feature where you can choose "bi-cubique sharpness, etc etc...

and that's why I want my metadata maintained in place and 72 DPI or 96 as stated above. That's why I always think it's a bug.

I'm afraid you are confusing yourself and mixture of unrelated facts.

PPI is unrelated to the web images. It is to be printed.

A x 100px 100px image will appear on screen as 100 pixels of the image pixel x 100 image regardless of the screen resolution or image.

Save for Web removes or retains metadata such as the copyright info, contact and camera to reduce the size of the file. That's all.

  • How can I create a ' non-floue or non-pixelted ' for web images of the adobe illustrator file?

I created pixel specific image height and width for Facebook and other social media applications. When I export or save for web, images are pixelated or blurred. I tried art or type, both seem to provide pixelated to png or jpg images.

You can see the blurry lines in this image. Thank you so much, any advice would be great.

    Sincere greetings, David Stine

    Any suggestions?Blurry.JPG

The only suggestion I can give all working in Illustrator's save for web, then experience the gif, jpeg, etc. and other options "color" "Adaptive" etc., while using the 4 Overview to see which gives you the best result.

  • Photoshop Creative cloud - not jpeg, save for web, etc.

I've recently updated to a paid subscription to creative cloud (only app/photoshop).  I didn't not re-download the app, I have just licensed, but now when I try to save a file only allows me to save in psd, raw, tiff, etc.  It does not convert to JPEG, png, save for web, etc on the new files I create.  The options are still there on the old files when I did the test.  What is going on?  If I try to manually change the tag on the image as a jpeg, it tells me that I have a corrupted file when I try to download it online.  I'm new to PS, so maybe it's my own ignorance, but I hope you can help.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software but no luck.

    Thank you!

What is the mode of the image you're trying to save?

Must be 8 or 16 bits/channel, if its 32, then it will not give you the ability to save in JPEG

  • Some colors change from Photoshop CS6 save for web?

I have a picture with great color surface: #fffdfd, when I save for web (jpg) this color is changed to #fefcfd (in JPG format).

I just can't save as jpg with #fffdfd.

(was trying to uncheck convertir convert to sRGB, don't embed color profile - always #fffdfd becomes #fefcfd when save for web)

However, the #fefcfd color when save for web, does not change.

Why some colors and some not? Is this a bug?

    Window7 64 bit, Photoshop CS6

Save for devices & Web will remove some color from the file data.

Browsers are not color management. Most of the formats of file on browsers assume they are sRGB. While Photoshop gives you the possibility of incorporation sRGB color space of a document, it also strips data that are not relevant. It is a common phenomenon.

PNG - 24 on the other hand will give you the exact color matching.

In addition, save for W & D, JPG quality questions a lot - the same color quality 10,20,30,40, 50... 100 wil give you reproductions different colours on the output end JPG.

If you are concerned that much on an offset of +/-1 hexadecimal value of RGB color space, do not save for web & devices. Do a "Save as" instead. Then use an image editing / application like ResizeMe resizing to resize the quality of your document. This, in most cases will retain information colourspace but just drop the resolution and quality of the image, giving you a smaller size.

On a sidenote, you can also read this article on how to better manage the color spaces: http://viget.com/inspire/the-mysterious-save-for-web-color-shift
