Where are my notes?

I have been using the "Notes" application for several years on my iMac, iPad, iPhone to store the bits of useful and necessary information, but also notes of meetings and lists of households etc. On the number of the last I got about 20 separate notes on the app. They were always synchronized across my devices, and I was able to modify each device. I just entered my Notes and found that all disappeared on each of my devices. What is there, no one knows if they are recoverable, and how do I go about this? These are all pretty important to me!

You have a Time Machine backup? There are 2 places in your library to the user to recover the notes of according to how your are stored.

Start with the first. If nothing is recovered, do the other:

~/Library/containers/com. Apple.notes/Data/Library/notes/ retrieve the 3 files NotesV6.storedata* *.

~/Library/Group%20Containers/group.com.Apple.Notes/ retrieve the 3 files NoteStore.sqlite* *.

If you store your notes in iCloud, you may need to go offline to recover without them endangered. When find them you, export them, so you can save a copy.

  • Call the library function does not find the DLL in the directory where are my LLBs

I'm using LabVIEW 8.6.  I have a set of screws in several LLBs.  All LLBs located in a directory.  Most of my screws is wrappers for the functions in a DLL.  I was told to put my DLL in the directory where are the LLBs, and apparently this is how the previous programmer has worked (using an earlier version of LabView).

In the configuration of the library call, I've specified .dll without path.  (This is how we want our screws are an API that will integrate other programmers, so I don't know where they put things and I can't use absolute paths).

When I insert the VIs in LabVIEW, LabVIEW can not find the DLL and wonder of spotted.  It's just that here in the directory with the LLBs and when I double click on it, everything works fine.  However my absolute path to the DLL now appears in the library to call configuration, and we don't want that.

Does anyone know how to make this work?  I guess the location of the screw (or LLBs, in this case) should be the current directory and thus Windows search there for the DLL.  However, it seems that this is not the case (in the least, in the latest version of LabVIEW).

    Thank you.

Well someone using your library should not have to dig into your screws and do it all on his own. Instead your library must wrap that and hide disorders it altogether.

The cluster of error has been added when the dynamic path option has been added. It is not useful hide this error output, so it's always there. As well as the dynamic path, there was the improved error handling added the CLN. One of them is that the level of verification when calling function errors (exception handling) can be specified. I guess that some of these options may generate an error code instead of bring up a dialog box, as they did before and that the output of error code can be useful even in the case of static calls.

As to what you want to do, I would have long managed that with a DLL that has essentially the same functions as your other wrapper DLLs and an initiliasation function that returns a pointer to a structure of functional distribution based on the actual DLL you want to call. Quite like what an object-oriented function dispatch table is. Then, when your interface initilising you call initialize function and specify the device interface/type that you want to use and after that all other functions take a pointer extra function parameter expedition as the first parameter, in addition to the parameters of the real function. This dispatch function pointer would be just a pointer to a structure that contains the table of function for this interface pointers and the sake of LabVIEW would simply be an integer of size pointer.

The wrapper function then checks the pointer structure validity send feature and call the actual function with the remaining parameters. It is a C programming and may require a planning and desigining the different interfaces to facilitate this kind of technique of the expedition, but it will certainly pay to long-term and make your library even can be used in previous versions of LabVIEW, so that VB etc. without delicate dynamic loading in the level high, programming environment.

  • I compacted my messages. Messages from 17/01/2012 to 01/04/2012 are not in my Inbox and I didn't remove them where are?

    Out Look express

I compacted my messages. Messages from 17/01/2012 to 01/04/2012 are not in my Inbox and I didn't remove them where are?
Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

    Why mail disappears:
    http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgone

    Recovery methods:

If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.

If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
    http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspx

A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • I cry. did system restore but did not picture where are they?

I was told to do a restore of windows to solve some of my problems computer, but as soon as he charged there is no photos or documents... where are they?

If you press F10 during your computer's boot sequence, so what you did then is critical.

See this article from HP: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07145&tmp_task=useCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3245022#N81 click on the + next to the heading "recovery during startup" and read the documents there.

You skipped step 1 (probably because nobody has directed you to this article before).  Now, look at step 5.  You selected "Advanced" and "Destructive recovery" or not?

If you have not selected "Destructive recovery" your files may still be on your hard drive.  I'm not familiar with what HP 'standard system recovery', but we can at least is what is usually called a "repair installation" of the operating system.  This should not delete your photos and documents, although if a new user profile has been created, you can not see them immediately.

If you remember the name of at least one file, do a search for it.  Tell the research i Local Disk (C) "search in" (i.e., to search the entire drive).  If the files are found, post back for directions or take a look at this article from HP:

backup drive died with all my photos adobe has all my photos as thumbnails how do I get the thumbnails to adobe? where are they that do not have the habit of losing their thanks

If you mean that the unit containing your photos is dead and that can still be seen in the catalog, I'm afraid, you can't do anything.

The thumbnails are stored in a cache file that is a sqlite database. Each thumbnail is stored as a binary field in two very small dimensions: 120 x 160 and 240 x 320 pixels. It is not an image format and I don't think there's a way to extract them.

The cache file is named thumb.5.cache and is located in the catalog folder. You can locate this file in the menu help/information system of the Organizer.

  • Why the titles are not saved with the project? Where are they?

    CS5 PC.

Why the titles are not saved with the project? Where are they? I can save them with the project?

You can also configure a project basis including all titles.  When it's time to start a new project, open the template and change the name before starting to work.  In this way all the foundations are in place without having to implement the project with these basics every time.

  • Where are the ARCHIVES, SENT, DRAFTS, files? Not in the profile/mail

Try to pass my profile to a new computer. ARCHIVE, DRAFTS, SENT, have thousands of emails, but are not in the folder/Mail / / Profile. So where are they hidden, and how to get them in the new computer? What a Royal PIA. Spent almost all the day blow up with this process.

Just do not post in this forum in a day or two you are difficult to move your profile because you have it in fragments with absolute path names. You choose to use absolute paths to store your data, you're on your own.

Oh my mistake you already did that. Three questions in two days around this decision you have made and then forgotten.
