  • Where can I buy an original Xbox 360 slim power supply

I got a new xbox 360 slim power brick came from damage, very hot, the fan does not turn on and the xbox turns off.  Where can I buy a new power supply for Xbox 360 slim?

    Hello

You will probably want a replacement. I would have you contact Xbox 360 support and ask for a replacement.

If you want to buy a new Xbox slim 360 power supply current, no doubt, you can visit Microsoft store and order a.

Except that it is impossible to find one on the Microsoft Store website. A search sorted by relevance shows several pages of results, but stops to those connected Xbox without a power supply, appearing never to return.

So where/how in fact buy a replacement power supply, please?

    Hello

This info you have posted has been extremely useful. I contacted the: contact Xbox 360 support as described above and crossed the shoots of boredom to verify that it is indeed, the power supply cord. Then, I could order one for about $35.00 with shipping and taxes, (since the site checked that our original warranty had already expired).

    Thank you :-)

  • Can I use xbox 360 Wireless & the windows wireless receiver so that I can use two controllers in Windows?

    Original title: Wireless 360 controller.

I bought the gamepad 360 Wireless for windows and it works fine. I also have an xbox for xbox 360 wireless controller. Can I use with the receiver windows wireless so I can use two controllers in windows? When I click on the Green x button it keeps just Charlotte. Is it possible to connect to windows?

Thank you. In fact, I installed this software already, but thanks for the tip. It turns out that I had to click the button of synchronization on the top of the controller AND the usb thing. I think I was just clicking on the USB thing. Now, it works fine. It's never the best stick for windows. THX.  :)

  • My xbox 360 Wireless continues to disconnect from my router, what can I do?

  • Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver - this is going to work with a remote xbox?

Hi, I have the xbox 360 Wireless gaming receiver and I am trying to get a remote control for it.  Does the xbox 360 remote sync to the xbox or is it just regular IR

    Thanks for your help

The xbox 360 remote control Infra-red, the 360 has an IR receiver port.

The wireless gaming receiver is radio only, so will not pick up the remote control. There isn't AFAIK a 'remote control' for the wireless receiver such that it has a validity of the Protocol only for xbox 360 Wireless devices, although there are a lot of 3rd inventive party accessories available, there might be something. You can of course use one of these wireless devices as a remote for other applications with the right software (xpadder, beam, etc.).

The Xbox 360 remote control can be used with a PC using an IR receiver, but it's not plug-and-play, here is a solution: http://www.redmondpie.com/using-xbox-360-ir-remote-with-vista-media-center/

Other that that, there are a multitude of remotes for PC, IR and wireless (including bluetooth). Bluetooth is the option if you want to keep your number of receivers plugged into your pc to a minimum, however, IR is still much better for the battery of remote controls (why it is still used despite the benefits of the radio).

  • How can I get my xbox 360 controller to work with my computer... Im running the 64-bit version of Vista... my computer does not even recognize the hardware?

How can I get my xbox 360 controller to work with my computer?... I can't even recognize the hardware? Im running Vista 64 bit on a quad core rig any help would be appreciated... Thank you

    Hello Ghostdogaln.

How do hang you the controller?  You must either use a * wired * controller, or use a wireless controller with receiver game Xbox 360 for Windows.

If you use a wireless with a Play and Charge kit controller, it will not work as long as the USB cord only actually plug into the battery for the controller itself. • Can not get the xbox 360 "ring of fire" controller to stop flashing on pc windows 7.

I have windows 7 64 bit and I can use the gamepad xbox 360 on it just find but light ring stops flashing. Apparently the lit quadrant is supposed to signal that "port" it is plugged, but it is not only the case.

I had this same problem and it was caused by the installation of bad driver.  To solve this here is what you should try:

    Plugin your controller
    Click Start
    Click on Control Panel
(material and audio sub in blue letters), click View devices and printers

MAKE SURE THAT THE UNKNOWN DEVICE IS YOUR FIRST CONTROLLER BY REMOVING THE PLUG OF YOUR COMPUTER AND SEE THAT IT DISAPPEARS FROM THE LIST

(Plug the controller back to continue)
Right click (if there is an unknown device), and then click Properties
    Click on the Hardware tab
    Click on the properties button
    Click the change settings button
Click on set to update driver
Click Browse my computer for driver software
Click on let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer
Scroll down until you see common Microsoft controllers for the windows class
    Double click on it
(On the list in the box open select :) If you are using a wired remote: gamepad xbox 360 for windows version 2.1.0.1349 [8/13/2009]...if you use a controller and a wireless receiver: receiver wireless xbox 360 for windows version 2.1.0.1349 [2009-08-13]])
    Click next
(in the new box that opens), click Yes.

  • Xbox 360 Wireless network adapter driver

I am currently using OS of Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit on my computer. When you use the adapter wireless Microsoft Xbox 360 with the drivers provided by Microsoft, Windows recognizes 5 'axis' and 10 'buttons '. Windows axis recognize are: X rotation, rotation Y (right stick), X axis, y-axis (left stick) and the Z axis is left and right triggers. My question is about the Z axis and the Guide button. Why the two triggers control the same Z axis? Also, why can't assign the Guide button to function? This driver provides Microsoft does not allow to link triggers to 2 different functions and use these 2 functions at the same time (for example: for while fire) because the left and right triggers neutralize! Having the left trigger that the right and rotation Z fire as Z axis (or left trigger button 11 and right trigger button 12), as well as assign the key Guide key 13, you need to uninstall the (UN)? supported Microsoft Driver for the adapter Xbox 360 Wireless and replace it with a written by a Japanese man named Masahiko Morii. Why? Why Microsoft doesn't have a Xbox 360 wireless adapter driver that is configurable to assign the Guide button to function? Why don't they have a driver that is configurable to assign the left and right triggers to 2 separate lines? Why can I not pay the linearity or sensitivity of the dead zone of the controller with the MS driver? Why can not I have 4 lights on the controller flash or rotating with the Microsoft driver, and yet I can with Masahiko Morii driver? The 360 controller is great, but how is it, Microsoft makes bad drivers for it when you use it with your PC?
