  OK, so I bought it on amazon and its third party I called s DGmaxx I went to my computer and Device Manager properties and the alll such good things. I tried to connect after that then turn on remote sync by clicking on the receiver and then the controller and just keep blinking for what seem forever and then turns off ive seen on youtube people connect in as literally 2 seconds and my computer says this product IS digitally signed. I'm almost certain that it is a legit microsoft product. If it does not and no one can help me then im done with microsoft, because it is not the first question ive had with microsoft products.   first of all, let me say thanks for reading this e-mail message. I have a problem with windows 7 64 bit recognizing that I have a driver installed on my compuetr, I installed the tha tcame with the cd software and that did not work, it appears as an unknown device in devices and printers, I tried to download the driver for windows 7 64 bit on the microsoft site after uninstalling CD. then I have insalled Traore, one on the microsoft site and it says the same thing, I can't then turned to devices and printers and he said that this device does not a driver installed. I tried so many times with the same results. I restored the system time ind time new and re-installed windows 7 two times and still the same problem, I've done alll I can again and again until im just sitting at the computer that I'm beyond angry, now just totally lost it please can you help as I think I've tried everything

  Please see things to try when the game Microsoft Xbox wireless receiver is not detected in Windows PC.

  1. check that the accessory is an accessory wireless Xbox 360 officially licensed.

  2. examine or replace the batteries to make sure that you loaded the batteries of the accessory wireless Xbox 360.

  3. move the receiver away from other devices that may interfere with the communication between the receiver and the accessory wireless Xbox 360 Wireless.

  4. Note: devices such as wireless routers, phones wireless and microwave ovens can generate Wireless interference.

  5. If the light on the receiver does not light, check the USB connection between the receiver and your computer. Make sure that the receiver is connected to a powered USB 2.0 port.

  6. If you use a wireless keyboard or mouse, disconnect the keyboard or the mouse, then reconnect the wireless gaming receiver. Then try reconnecting your device wireless Xbox 360 to the PC.

  If you have Windows 7:

  1. Click Start, right-click computer and then click on Device Manager!

  2 right-click where it says device unknown, then do enter internet driver

  (it will say can not find the driver but below will say pilot research myself to list!)

  3. click on search in the list of drivers, scroll down to the Microsoft wireless controller!

  4. highlight the microsoft controller and click on next, a list of accessories microsoft for game will appear!

  5. click on the receiver Microsoft wireless, and then click Next. (it will say: it is not recommended to install the driver because an unknown Publisher, but if you have installed the http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=Gaming&type=Gaming software)
  you know that the pilot came from there! and then... ENJOY!

  You re right Satellite L500 doesn t have an internal modem, so you need an external.

  I think you can buy every modem that is compatible with Vista. Alternative ask your favorite computer dealer or authorized service provider

  Did you install all the necessary drivers, firmware and/or software Intellisoft of the mouse and then restart?

  You have good batteries in the mouse?

  Verify that the mouse is compatible with working computer and your operating system?

  Have you checked the mouse icon in the control panel (after all of the above) to a setting to activate?

  To answer your question directly: you replace with USB 1.0 (most likely USB 1.1) USB 2.0 by the purchase of new equipment.

  If you have a desktop computer, you can buy an internal with several Sockets USB 2.0 card.

  If you have a laptop, you can get a card with 2 ports USB PC Adapter 2.0

  Before you buy anything, however, if you have a desktop computer, it is possible that some (but not all) of your taken USB is 2.0.  Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK), click on the + sign next to the category "Controllers of Bus USB" and watch the 'Host controllers' listed there.  If any host controller is 'enhanced' then you have at least one (and probably 2) USB 2.0 taken somewhere on the computer.

  The computer should take a standard ATX power supply unit (PSU).  I suggest to measure the existing PSU and compare measures in the links.  If the measurements are the same, it should fit.  I don't know anything about the brand, however.

  Hi everyone, I have big problems in tryign to install the receiver of wireless pc on myy machine game Windows xp.

  I installed it how ever when I plug in the adapter and installation of the equipment arrives I get an error saying that windows could not fine drivers for hardware that I tried to manually search for the drivers on the installation process that always chance could not find the drivers installed
