Hello

You need to connect speakers in the connection "line-out" on the back of your PC - it's the pale green plug shown in back i/o Ports on your PCs specifications Page.

  • where to connect external speakers

    Hi all

Please forgive me for asking this question probably simple, but I'm not sure of the answer.

I just got an Optiplex 380 32-bit win7. I don't have for speakers since I was pregnant of NEC (which I had for quite a few years) who are still working fine. At least, they worked on my Dell Dimension 5150 XP machine has died.

NEC speakers have a power supply and there is a "black" male plug that should go to the back of the computer. My question is exactly where I plug them in? There is a line out connector "light green" and a "Blue rose" in line/microphone connector at the back of the computer. I'm assuming that I have to plug the speakers into the line out connector... am I correct? I hurt the computer if I plug the speakers in the wrong place? Are there drivers for the speakers that I might have to find and install?

Again, please forgive the maybe stupid question, but when it comes to computers I'm not very well informed about the workings.

    Thanks in advance

    Barb

Jack GREEN (or green) is taking speaker, even it was a 5150.  It should work the same.  (I have an E510 which is identical to the 5150).

where we plug the camera see Gallery pictures online?

You might want to clarify this:

What camera? Your own point and shoot? With an SD card? Is your Mac has a card reader? You have a 3rd party one?

Online? Generally means posted on a Web Site - what you want?

Gallery? What do you mean by that?

  • my printer plug is disconnected and I don't know where to plug them back

My cabel impression is disconnected and   I have no where to plug them back... Help, please.  Thank you

It seems you are talking about the printer connecting the USB cable to the computer. Take a look at the back of the printer to which connects the power cord.

The plug to the USB cable is just above and to the left of the place where the cable plugs. I've got it circled in yellow above. Please note that the plug is not square. The top is cut a bit. Ensure that the beveled edge of the USB cable is on top when you plug it in.

  • I have UN-plugged my speakers and replaced by headphones. Noise if the headphoens is fine. I now want to put the spekares back in, but there is no sound at all

    original title: SOUND

I have UN-plugged my speakers and replaced by headphones. Noise if the headphoens is fine. I now want to put the spekares back in, but there is no sound at all. Can anyone help?

So they are pregnant Dell with standard 3.5 mm USB powered plug (* and even the green port plug in as shown in the picture)?

Therefore, the USB plugged into the port in the back of the computer for power to the speakers?  Try a different USB port - just to see if the chosen one does not provide the necessary power.

Make sure that the speakers are turned on and the volume is turned all the top (to the right).

Make sure that the sound output is not cut on your computer (plug in the headphones to check what you mean by them.

Plug the 3.5 mm of the speaker to the green port on the computer (see photo above.)

If you don't hear sound... Unplug the plug 3.5 mm and touch something metal - static electricity?  The speakers become power at all?

  • HPE-210F dead USB 2.0 port AV - where to plug them in?

My newest HPE-210F has a USB 2.0 on the front, and he died. I opened the case, and of course, the connector it is not connected to the motherboard. I want to know where to plug the connector on the motherboard. I can attach a photo of the MB, if necessary, but I suspect it's an easy question. On a related note, there are three small openings in the metal cage where the USB port on the front is pressed. Are enough spots on the MB to plug in a few extra USB 2.0 ports? I wonder if HP sells ports ready to fit in the cage or if it is a standard of the industry and I could get them elsewhere?

    TIA!

Pick up and empty the USB socket and plug the connector.  This motherbaord is used for different configurations of the firm.  Pocket USB and media drive bays would also use the empty USB Sockets.

  • SD2410b where to plug them in speakers?

I have a pair of speakers Tweakers. I plugged in "line" cord from the speakers to taking "line out" at the back of the monitor Dell but I still get no sound. My computer says that the speakers are not connected. The monitor model is SD2410b. There is only one line, online on a card and I tried both. There is no cap that has a picture of a helmet on it, or a green plug as have other monitors. Someone know how I can get these hung correctly? I also have Windows 10. Thank you.

By the warranty, you can hire a monitor change. Test the replacement before sending any monitor to Dell. If the replacement does not have the question, keep it and send us the original. If the replacement has the SAME question, the monitors were not at fault. Send the replacement to Dell. Consider the drivers of operating system of computer or equipment as the culprit.

  • Where to plug the webcam into the Aspire 5517? I have a short.

I don't know whether I'm on the set of law.

I have an Acer Aspire 5517. Built in camera has been giving me problems for a while now. I'm sure he has a bad connection or short at the base of the screen or the long where the screen & unit connect. I've always been able to tap along there, and the camera would start to work, or clarify.

Since I switched to Windows 10, and it's a pain anyway, it only gives me the chance to try to use the camera, then eventually tap the problem, before it just says: can not find the camera.

I know by looking at the service manual, where the camera plugs at the top of the screen. I checked that it is very good.  In my view, that the problem is a connection near the hinge. Where is it connected?

Under the keyboard. It should be or C. Try matching the color of thread.

    Thank you
    Bob

    Bob,

The card reader must be USB based and must connect to any free USB 2.0 port on the motherboard.

#4 and 3 X #6 are USB 2.0 ports (the word "HERE" is directly under the ports on this image)

    Please send Bravo

  • You have a new case, where to plug records of cases on the mobo?

CAN any1 link or post a photo of my motherboard with a F-Panel diagram so I know how/where plug any Haf912 plugs on?

like all LED caps and things, I can't find the manual of the motherboard online...

    My HP: e9160f

    motherboard: IPIEL-LA3 G43 Eureka3

Oh, the case fans has two 4 pin large device search plugs (in and out), each. plug those in peripheral ankles 4 POWER supply pins?

    Hello

Look VERY closely at f_panel on the motherboard making.  You might need a magnifying glass and a flashlight pocket. Taking f_panel on the mobo in my PC has engravings illustrating the layout of pin code.

The switches are not sensitive to polarity for connections aren't going to matter if the pins are reversed. However, LEDS are polarity-sensitive, so you might to move the rods if the LEDs don't properly light.  The black wire for each LED is on the ground and the color wire is power. Look at the connector on the front panel of the former stop and then again the etchings on the motherboard.

  • I just got a new Acer monitor - but now I have no sound, because there is nowhere where to plug in the connection - what I do

I have a new monitor, which has no connection to speakers - speakers integrated supposedly.  But I have no sound - what should I do?

What type of connection the monitor use (between the monitor and CPU)? Have you checked the folder sounds and Audio devices in Control Panel to make sure that the sound is turned on?

Your best bet is probably to contact Acer technical support (FAQ or maybe forums) to help with this problem.

  • Satellite C650 - no sound through speakers to computer

    Hello

I have no sound in my laptop speakers but hear when I plug in speakers. The sound goes up and down on Skype etc, as if its on but there is no sound at all. Ive checked and he is defo not cut or anything. It seemed to happen after that my laptop had the virus Searchqu.

I don't know how to update drivers or anything like that. Help, please! Thank you: s

I put t think it is driver related issue. The problem must be something else.

I put t know what sound card is inside but please open Control Panel and check if there are options audio Realtek listed or something like that and check all the options there.

In the audio port where you can plug in headphones is placed little switch that enables or disables the internal speakers. It is also possible that this little switch doesn't work properly.

Check the settings of the sound at first, and come back with some comments.

  • External speakers to the Qosmio G20 106

    Hello

I know it's a stupid question! but where to plug the external speakers? Is this the same entry as the headphones?
    Thank you very much?
    JO

    Hello

On the left side of the device, you can find the headphone jack (S/PDIF). This allows you to connect digital speakers or stereo headphones (minimum of 16 ohms). When you connect the headphones or digital speakers, internal speakers are automatically disabled.
This Jack can also be used as outlet S/PDIF and allows the connection of the optical digital connecting devices.

    Best regards
