• Loss of disk space available every day as System Volume Information folder is the largest on my hard drive

  My PC is under Windows7 Home Premium... version 6.1... Build 7601... service pack 1.

  I have a 1 TB hard drive... 3 weeks ago, I've had approximately 813 gb free space... now, I have only 603 gb of free space. I noticed that the folder System Volume Information is passed to 209,53 Go. Don't know why this issue became so great. I lost about 5 to 20 GB of free space on the hard disk every day.

  The System Volume Information folder is the largest on my hard drive... Users folder is 43.38 GB... Windows folder is 31.89 GB... WinSxS folder is 15,18 GB.

  I installed a couple of applications in the last 6 months... Driver booster... Download App... and size of file.

  I didn't save my PC in the last 3 weeks because of this problem.

  The only application that I use for backup is MotoCast USB... it creates a backup of the SD card in my smartphone to my PC.  I've been backup card SD in my phone every 3-4 weeks for the past 2 years but never lost so much hard drive space until the last 3 weeks.

  Any suggestions?

  I suggest that you should the Zone Alarm Firewall and use Windows Firewall.

• Training of W450 not appearing is not on the website after synchronization via USB (4.55.97)

  Hello guys

  Last night I updated my W450 8 GB US yesterday to 4.55.97 through my Mac at home - he crossed without incident. Today I took for a race and then wanted to synchronize the workout on the site via the USB connected to my PC at work. The Motocast software did his thing without any error. Then I went to the site to view detailed information about the race, but the training was not there (I can still see it on the camera itself however).

  This process tends to work for me before, why it would not work anymore?

  There are a few problems of complications:

  (1) update 4.55.97

  (2) it was the first time I ran with my new Garmin HR strap

  (3) synchronization via USB via the PC at work, while I use Wifi at home

  (4) my last training always in the Web of W450 (account LahmeEnte79) site is a workout elliptical incompatible ("workout contains all the raw data"), that I can't delete somehow.

  Is there a way to define a workout on the device as "unsynchronized", so we can download it again?

  PS my boyfriend jogging today ordered a Garmin EN 910 last week; He regretted that powerfully after seeing the W450 :-)

  Problem solved thanks to Matt: turns out the problem was the date being set to one day earlier. After recording a workout and wait 24 hours, they have appeared on the site W450 :-)

• Motocast does not

  Hi all

  After the recent to ICS, I am facing problem, so that a phone connected to the computer.

  Motocast detects the phone, but it fails with the error "unlock the phone and then reconnect the cable"

  phone is already unlock mode, tried to reconnect the always the same phone.

  Can someone help with this problem.

  Hi Srinivas,

  I also had this problem before. I suggest you try connecting the cable after checking the "USB debugging" option in settings-> Developer options.

• Cannot set up wireless Motocast

  I just got my Droid Razr yesterday. I could connect to my PC (windows XP) via USB and transfer songs. But I can not configure Motocast wireless, however. Everytime I try, it checks for a wireless connection, and then goes to a screen Motocast wireless set. He's sitting there for a few seconds, then outputs only programs.

  I read through the forum and based on some other recommendations that I saw there, I've uninstalled Java and went on java.com and downloaded the latest version. I have turned off my Windows Firewall and stopped protection in real time on my Microsoft Security Essentials. I also uninstalled the program Motocast, which was first loaded from my phone and uploaded Motocast to mymotocast.com.

  I am at a loss. What else can I try?

  Well, I decided before I'm that drastic, I need to check the updates of Microsoft, it's been a while, there were 73 to install! Yikes! but after installing the updates, I was able to get through the Setup process and can now access my PC via the Razr.

• Motocast wireless computer Sync has stopped working

  From 15/01/2013, Motocast Wireless sync stopped sync my Razr Maxx to my computer files. It was working fine until recently. I tried to reinstall the application Motocast on my computer (PC with Windows 7) and that has not fixed the problem. Anything else I can try to get wireless sync files (and Yes, in Motocast on the phone to sync enabled).

  Verizon pushed the Razr Maxx also just updated yesterday. Still no luck on getting photos to sync with my computer.

  Unfortunately, it is not an option to select the files and force them to synchronize manually. I would if I could to at least save my photos. I'll try the USB later for at least to synchronize data.

• Cannot USB Razr to XP Home

  I tried to set up USB tethering on Windows XP because it could not connect to the internet for some mysterious reason (I know Windows admin, so I tried everything), but Windows need a driver for RNDIS device... nothing obvious came except MotoCast (who wanted to install a bunch of other things) so I read the instructions on the phone itself which directed me to the Google Help pages that says to download tetherxp.inf on the machine as I did. Windows does not recognize it as a driver RNDIS no matter what I did (I even clicked and installed). In this case, it seems bike links to useless information.

  Since MotoCast popped up automatically when I connected the first time (before that I checked on USB Tethering), I thought that can install it but he wants to install this and make me check an agreement etc. going overboard, it seems to just get a USb tethering driver.

  Now I'll try to find the driver on the internet or just download and install a driver from Motorola, but I have no idea if that's all. It also seems too complicated (and inaccurate) for something that should be very simple, as the Razr comes to be able to install the drivers for use with Windows.

  Have you tried to use an application from the game store? Easy Tether and PdaNet work very well. You can use the phone to download the software required for the computer and once installed it should work perfectly. I hope this helps.

• USB disabled after the update of the Sierra (a short circuit and a work)

  Hi, when I bought my mbp 13 inches mid2012 (used, not new) I noticed that a USB port did not work. In the Yosemite sometimes I noticed that a USB port consumed too much energy and have been disabled. (I think because the usb port has been short-circuited. Year when it was time to update the mbp to El Capitan I had a few panic the kernel and the newspaper was shown as the last driver loaded the USB driver, so I kept the mbp with Yosemite. A few days ago, I updated for Sierra but only usb which used to work stopped working. It has enabled and turned on but Finder and disk utility does not see the drive. In an Apple dealer they said that could be established relationships with some oxide and next week will take it and see what the problem is.

  If there is someone with the same problems, please tell me what to do! I don't want to put in the trash my mac just for a flash drive... but I need!

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Based on what you said, it appears as a USB device is not recognized in one of the USB ports. There are a few things that can cause this. I recommend you read these articles, which may be able to help solve the problem.

• Boot Camp El Capitan Windows ISO USB key

• New Audio USB Interface lose sound on El Capitan

  Hi all!

  A few weeks ago that I upgraded my MacBook Pro retina 15 "end 2013 to El Capitan, after that my USB Audio Interfaces (Focusrite Scarlett 2i4) and Safire 6 USB stopped working properly. Both work correctly when they are connected to an iMac 5K running the same operating system.

  I can listen to Audio for some time (about 10-2 Minutes, it is always different), when the Audio starts to crush und get outs, after a certain time there is only silence "click on" come out of the speakers.

  I already tried to reinstall OS X (starting with CMD R and reinstall OS), reset PRAM and SMC. Nothing has changed the question. Any ideas where it comes from?

  It is most likely a software conflict. Note the time at which audio is running out. Open the Console and look for accidents or mistakes at this time.

  The reason why it crashes on a mac, but not the others most likely is related to differences in software installed. Run Etrecheck on touch mac and post the report here.

• Crash when disconnecting USB connected to the Steinberg UR-22

  Updated for Sierra recently.

  When I unplug my Steinberg UR-22 by the USB port, the operating system crashes instantly and restarts.  EVERY TIME.

  I plug/unplug often and have never had this problem until the Sierra.  I use my Air for labor and for the game, so he forces me to move to and from the Office to Home Office... or around the House.

  The Yamaha Steinberg USB driver only supports OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11. You need to ask Steinberg support if or when they intend to support macOS Sierra 10.12.
