  I understand the frustration of the removed plug-ins. They were withdrawn by Cycore Systems, publishers of the package CycoreFX HD plugin, not the After Effects team. Cycore team is good people, you can touch base with them on the issue. My understanding is that these plug-ins were not compatible with the new API for after effects CC 2015 (13.5) and so would have had extra work to be distributed.

  Using this link as a reference, I created a data control Web Service, and when I deploy via JDeveloper for different environments I can change my point of endpoint accordingly on this screen:

  

  However when I change my point of termination at the design time, the changes do not appear in the screen "Configuration of the deployment. This would not normally be a problem, but our automated deployment (maven/ant) seems to keep picking up the url "Deployment Configuration" instead of what we change in the DataControl.dcx.   2. where is this "Deployment Configuration" end point url located? I can change it during an automated deployment as I can on a manual deployment?

  It turns out that the connections.xml had the url of the endpoint that the profile of the deployment and jdeveloper was referencing at deployment time.

  In order to get our automated generation work, we use a search and replace of Ant utility to change endpoint in this connections.xml before construction/deployment of the application.

  One way you can probably do is to doubleclick the component on the stage and manually change the parts that compose it by doubleclicking and their modification.

  If you use a component TextInput and you have problems with the fact that code for this style, you might consider switching to just by using a Textfield.  Components tend to be somewhat heavy creatures, partly because of the various graphics they carry but mostly because of the code that they carry.  To see how the TextInput contributes to the weight of a file, start a new file and place a TextInput onstage.  Then, with the Flash option publish Settngs to generate the report of chosen size, publish the file and see the bytes contributed in the output panel.

  So I am familiar with the Vbox property horizontalAlign and I would have put in general to the center when I create a design-time. Now I create components to run and to align all the children of the Vbox (or under-delivery in the Vbox) so that they are centered, but there is no horizontalAlign property to set. So my question is, one how can I ensure that all my Vbox components are centered and two, will I run into this sort of thing with all components.

  horizontalAlign - is not a property you could although at first, it's a style

  Thus, in order to put in it use vbox.setStyle ('horizontalAlign', 'center');

  Are you talking about the scroll bars in the visual page JDeveloper Editor?

  If so - try and set the resolution of the Visual Editor from the drop down above.

• iconic buttons at design time. Is it possible to take their icons from the pot, or at least of gif files?

  I put my button icons in a signed gif, and they work fine when running.

  The problem is at design time, I can't display their icons properly.

  I have to convert the GIF to ico and place them in a folder referenced by the UI_ICON registry variable old.

  Also, since gifs are 16 x 16, they are harvested at the time of the design, because I see them as if they stretch to size 32 x 32.

  At least, it would be enough, if I could place the gifs directly somewhere, without conversion to ico.

  It seems as if oracle did not put all development work in the generator, which is like a direct version 6i c/s port.

  Since you don't mention exactly what forms version you are using, I guess that and I guess it's one of the many versions after 6.0.8.  The 9.x + Forms Builder supports gif, jpg and ico files.  It does not however read of a jar.  Therefore, you have to extract to a directory defined by UI_ICON.  In addition, the files must be of the same type (jpg, gif, ico).  Mixing formats is not recommended or supported.  The format of your choice can be defined in UI_ICON_EXTENSION

  So, for example in your registry, you might have something like this:

  UI_ICON = C:\myImagesDirectory

  UI_ICON_EXTENSION = gif

  "Gif" being the default, there is no need to set this if you use "GIFs".

  Hello! I just started to use IDs through creative cloud on a new computer (using CC CS6 for two years), and the installer gave me rather than CS6 CC2014. So it is a question only on CC2014.

  Where is the window paragraph styles? Specifically, how can I edit, create and organize the paragraph styles, and how do I get a window up on the main screen with all stated styles? All these things were easy to find in CS6, but I can't find them in CC2014. The only thing I get (and with a bit of customization). is a drop-down list on the main toolbar, which allows me to choose from among the existing options on an existing document.

  There is no option of paragraph Windows Styles > Styles.

  There is no option under Type of paragraph Styles.

  The only paragraph window that appears is designed for text editing as you go along, don't not to apply styles.

  Using the options all point me back them to the entrance for CS6 and tell me to go to Type > paragraph Styles (which does not exist).

  I can't get a window up on the main screen to instantly apply styles in a list. I only get this drop, which has no other options.

  Can someone tell me some updated guidance or explain where all paragraph options are and how do I use them? If not, can I go back to CS6? It was easy and intuitive on the front, and now it's not...

  Nothing has changed on the styles. It's exactly the same thing as CS6. Perhaps you need to restore your preferences.
