Where is Menu launch: Application in 2009 of LV?

I want to access the app instance for screws of the tool Menu (its name is NI.LV. Dialog box). In 2013 of LV, the property node is App.Menu LaunchApp. However, I can't find it in LV 2009. Nobody knows where he is or what is the workaround?

I tried to return a LV 2013 VI which contains this property back to LV 2009 node. However, it generates an error 42 (generic error).

You don't see the property in 2009 because it was defined as private. As you can see, you can save the return and use it.

It returns an error 42 probably because you run the VI yourself instead of launching from a menu. If you put in a VI that is launched from a menu, it should work fine. You can see an example in the Tool of Capture of Code, which is launched from the Tools menu and uses it to get a reference to the VI, you opened it since.

  • Unexplained delay launch Applications (two issues)

    I apologize for the length of this message.  I added the information accumulated after trying several forums of Window XP.

    (1) I get a delay of 30-60 s run almost any program (command-line, Notepad, through any Office 2007 application), but only the FIRST time that this particular program is launched during a given "session".  (Here 'session' seems to mean a prolonged period of inactivity, usually not a reboot or an opening of session and closing session.)  Windows Task Manager shows CPU usage is 99% of idle process of the system during this period (but I can't do anything else while I wait for), so I have no idea of what is behind the heist.  Once the machine gets 'heated', however, there is no delay whatsoever.  Any suggestions to track down the problem?

    The information that may be relevant: Lenovo T61 (Core 2 Duo), vintage June 2008, running Windows XP Professional SP2 - supplied by the downgrade option from Vista factory, (it is a problem that I noticed shortly after the downgrade, not a 'new' problem on an old facility).  Security prices Windows updates (Windows Search 4.0 but less SP3, which warns of the Lenovo, and less IE 8, which is too recent for my taste) have been applied.  A bouquet (but much less than half) of the Lenovo has been uninstalled the pre-loaded software.  The only security software is ZoneAlarm Security Suite 8.0.298.035.  (Yes, I did a clean uninstall of Norton before any other thing.  I use ZASS 'Internet Lock' a lot, and one of the many manifestations of this problem is a long-delayed response to a right-click on the icon ZASS locked in the system tray.  However, I tried a clean uninstall/reinstall of ZASS with only a temporary improvement.  In addition, the problem does not arise every time I use Internet Lock.)  Various other "tweaks" that don't seem to not immediately relevant have been applied, of course.

    I have another very similar installation of XP (SP3 this time), and ZIAD on an old Dell laptop - all of the same settings have been applied, as near as I can tell (but) - that shows no this problem.  This is why I suspect an interaction with the Lenovo software (besides the fact that there is so much of it).

    The precise phenomenology of the problem is difficult to determine, but it seems to occur mainly after power Options is off the screen for an extended period of time.  (He was not allowed to go to sleep or hibernation automatically so that plugged).  In all cases, it occurs only after a reboot.  What continues to surprise me the most, is that there is no indication in the current anything Task Manager.

    A seemingly reasonable suggested that I saw unusually long virus scan first launch programs, but this does not explain the delays: they are not usually immediately after a reboot, and there is no pork CPU appears in the Task Manager when this happens.

    (2) I would be very grateful for any information ThinkVantage applications is really essential for this machine (or is potentially problematic), because I really want to get rid of several of them, thus (hopefully) solve my problem.  For example, I assume that I want to keep "Active Protection System", but I use a system image backup so I really need "Rescue and Recovery".  Nor do I need the multimedia suite preinstalled - apparently by Sonic, who also installs a "InstallShield" very annoying Update Manager that I can't figure out how to turn off - as much as I like CDBurnerXP and Windows Media Player.  It seems that a lot of this stuff from Lenovo is loaded on startup, so that consumes resources and a potential source of the problem.  Before I ship an uninstall of the ThinkVantage software together to the sale, however, I would like to learn more about what is relevant, and how to restore individual packages if I find that I need them.

    For example, the superposition of Lenovo's Windows Power Manager seems to have important additional characteristics (e.g., control of CPU speed and intelligent ways of recharging of the batteries), but I can't tell if they really do anything with the material given or if their benefits may be useful to have the software running continuously.

    Here is a list of things that are configured to run at startup - the major part of the original installation of Lenovo Thinkpad - I dared not uninstalls without more knowledge.  (I checked all sources possible start-up I know, and the rest are empty, including win.ini/load =.  Windows Search says it has finished indexing).  I could also send a picture of the performance of services (long!) if someone really wants to see it...

    jcw2, nothing to worry about

    Most of them are listed in the process, because they are in the system startup (you mentioned it yourself). You explained in your post that you were ready to replace sonic record now.removing of the average of donnot of start that they are 'not installed' system. It will only help you increase your time to start on your desktop. I have recommended only to remove those of only startup items!

    Remove all thinkvantage utility program is at your own discretion, it depends on what you want to use and what you don't have. If you look at my post properly I have not mentioned anywhere on the removal of public services thinkvantage start, I'm not aware of thinkvantage utility on a thinkpad.

    now, let me explain why I suggest you to remove them from Startup

    1. Synchronizer from adobe

    The Adobe Synchronizer is a network agent which is used to build disconnection tolerant applications. The Synchronizer provides a local copy of data on a server so that applications can use it regardless of network connectivity. As the data changes on the server, Synchronizer updates the local copy and the user publishes changes made locally, Synchronizer makes the changes to the server

    2 adobe speed Launcher

    The speed Launcher runs automatically when your computer starts. The speed Launcher is not required to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader. However, if you disable the speed Launcher you may notice an increase in startup time when you run 3D Acrobat Acrobat or Adobe Reader

    3 Soundmax

    Removes only the analogdevices system tray icon (soundmax digital audio)

    4 jusched.exe:

    A sun microsystems background process, that checks the updates of java. It uses an active internet connection as well as in the background.you not require this program unless you are using applications based on java or java runtime environment (if you want to update java, you can go to the Control Panel options there an update from there)

    5 DLACTRLW. EXE:

    That means DLACTRLW. EXE not?

    The Drive Letter Access component allows you to drag and drop files directly to the drive of CD - R or DVD - R on your computer, just as you would any other folder. He writes the files on the CD that you copy them, taking a lot of the complication of burn CDs or DVDs with Windows discs.

    Is this necessary?

    Only if you are actively using the feature. If you burn CDs and DVDs in the traditional way, as the application of burner starts and choose files from there, you can safely disable this program to run at startup.

    I don't know what that commercial you tend to use in the menu of thinkvantage cannot answer about these processes.

    Hope my info helps you

  • Launch applications published in the workspace of the internet 2.0

    Hello

    I can't launch applications published in the workspace of the internet 2.0. When I open an application opens a client application to view my horizon and the error message "error: host name cannot be resolved"appears. "

    I have access to the workspace via the internet on a load balancer (ZEN). I configured both connectors. One for connecting internal Kerberos authentication with external authentication with password authentication. This works well. From the local network, it works like a charm.

    Do I have to give the Horizon view connection manager a public IP address?

    Another (or maybe THE) problem is on the balancer FQDN/SSL setting. The FULL domain name is the portal.domain.com. Load Balancing is done via the internet with the same accessible URL. When I select the option "Load Balancer" in the workspace Configurator, it copies the CA certificate root of LB all go, restart the Tomcat server and then the page throw me back to the original page where the button load balancer is not selected. I get no error message and in the newspapers, I see only errors. You guys have an idea what I am doing wrong?

    Kind regards

    Andreas

    Yes, the Horizon view connection server must be solved also (must be a public IP address for this)

  • Calendar in El Capitan can launch applications as scheduled events... No work around?

    After upgrading to El Capitan of Lion (10.7.5) - I jumped over the Mountain Lion, the Mavericks and the Yosemite - now I'm missing a very important feature in the new calendar (iCal formally): it cannot launch applications such as events scheduled at set intervals.

    I also absolutely do not remove the possibility that it is me who is a bad thing.

    In some other forums people suggest to uncheck calendars in iCloud settings and then create a local calendar (and name it for example "on my Mac") who should be able to launch applications and then synchronize the calendars in iCloud again.

    Unfortunately, as soon as I uncheck calendars in iCloud, the application calendar itself does not create new calendars at all - local or not.

    I'm doing something wrong? If not, is there perhaps a workaround?

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Use Automator to create a calendar alarm clock that would launch the applications.

    When you open the automate, create a new Document.

    Choose the type of alarm calendar.

    Stretching the library of utilities in an action to launch the Application. Set this to the application you want to run.

    Save it and it will create a local calendar with an event in its operation this alarm clock calendar. You can then handle this event.

  • Launch application on KeyPress sequence - Code example included

    I searched this forum and google hours and could not get it to work.

    I used this thread:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/launch-application-on-12345/m-p/502771

    I have a background process which is a PhoneListener.

    It intercepts the void callInitiated(int callid) and checks the sequence.

    If the sequence is the right one, she injects an end key and starts the application.

    There are 2 problems:

    (1) the dialed number appears with? prefix and I can't seem to find the right channel for the game.

    (2) if I inject end, the call ended, but so is my application that I just launched.

    I tried waiting and I tried the function calls but no dice the reorganization.

    public void callInitiated(int callid) {

            String dialedNumber = Phone.getCall(callid).getDisplayPhoneNumber();
            System.out.println("!!!!!!!!!!!!  Dialed:" + dialedNumber.length());

            if (true || dialedNumber.endsWith(KEY_SEQUENCE)) {

                // end the call
            //  EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent ev = new EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent(EventInjector.KeyCodeEvent.KEY_DOWN, ((char)Keypad.KEY_END), KeypadListener.STATUS_NOT_FROM_KEYPAD);
            //  EventInjector.invokeEvent(ev);

                final UiApplication app = UiApplication.getUiApplication();
                app.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                    public void run() {
                        try {
                            Thread.sleep(20);
                        } catch (InterruptedException e) {
                            e.printStackTrace();
                        }
                        try {
                            ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().launch(
                            "MyApp?gui");
                        } catch (ApplicationManagerException e) {
                            e.printStackTrace();
                        }
                    }
                });

            }
        }

    any help?

    Thank you

    He solved.

    for some reason, the callInitiated (.) is called several times for each call

    Make sure that your code to initiate and end the call is executed only once (I used a hashtable and stored the callid) and you're golden.

  • Flash CS6 Air to the menu 'Modify application settings' iOS not to come.  No way to publish to iOS.

    Using a newly re-installed and updated CS6 Flash on a 64-bit OS X Macbook update 10.9.4.   I tried various combos of Air 3.2, 3.4, 14 and 15, since yesterday, and I get the same result.  Only two days ago everything on this configuration worked perfectly.  I was compiling and pushing Air apps to my iPad for testing.  Early yesterday morning, I tried this and got a message that I did not save, but was something in the sense of "this installation is not configured for this process" or something.  Since then, when I click on the key to bring up the menu change application settings, nothing happens.  This is true, if I click on it, next to the target in the properties pane, or if I'm going to Air for iOS settings in the drop-down file menu.

    The other strange part of this is that if I open a few old projects, I can get the menu to return to the top. But on the project I was working on it doesn't.  If I create a new FLA file empty and go straight into the settings, it also does not work.  And if I try and it doesn't work, if I close the file that wasn't it blocks completely Flash.

    It seems that some cache or a database is corrupted, but I did a complete uninstall (using adobe cleaning) and reinstall, and it is always the case.  I found an old thread on google about this same problem and the solution given was to delete/Library/Application Support / iPadApp / Local Store / appDB.db, but I don't even have this file to remove.

    Little close cannot produce my content like this so I'm a sitting duck.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  This is my first post here, so I apologize if I am missing something.

    very interesting. support for Apple developers were happy to engage in this and checked all my certificates and all the stuff and updated stuff in Xcode.

    But while doing so, I discovered that if you move it provisioning profile somewhere else for example a new folder, then you can open the change settings application and then add the provisioning profile from the new location and

    Flash publishes successfully.

    at least it is a workaround - although pain in the anus!

  • Launching applications from partition Bootcamp without starting the virtual machine

    Hi all, installed Fusion because my colleague was furious about how you can launch applications without even opening the windows. But I was not able to do. I use a Bootcamp partition and is not, and I'm assuming that this is the reason why this feature is not available for me, but if someone could shed some light on this would be great!

    Thank you

    I think that your colleague is a bit confused. By definition, any product of virtualization to run a prompt to perform a request for comments. If you start in Unity mode, you might see Windows not running, but it's there. I suspect that what your colleague is talking about is the suspension in Unity mode. If you then start a Notes application, the virtual machine will resume, and since it is in Unity mode, it will appear to run the comments without Windows display application.

    Run a Boot Camp virtual machine means that you can not suspend (or snapshot, but that is irrelevant to this issue) because this can lead to corruption of the disk.

  • browser launch application problem

    Hello
    In order to launch a browser from an application, I used the code snippet of this
    page:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800332/800440/How_To _...

    Everything I do is provide my own url for it and run it. It works very well and has
    was working fine until recently. A number of customers complained
    receive the following error message:

    Eception exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessException

    In the hunt for the cause, I have tried on a number of different devices.
    Including OS versions:

    Rogers Blackberry 8700 v4.2.1 - works fine
    Rogers Blackberry 8800 v4.2.1 - works fine
    Rogers Blackberry 8310 v4.2.2 - works fine
    Bell Blackberry 8830 v4.2.2 - above displays error
    Bell Blackberry 8130 v4.3.0 - above displays error

    I tried the device simulators:
    v4.2.2.123 Bell 8830
    4.3.0.07 uscc 8130
    and they both worked fine.

    We're going a little crazy here trying to figure out the cause. If it's not OS
    linked version, maybe that's a problem of provider?
    Is there a known issue with Bell relating to the safety of the launch of the browser
    applications? Is there a work around?

    Thank you

    OK problem solved. Lancéo has got to me referring to the document that I originally brought it up. I just stumbled on the wording. It did not clear in the document that extract of code belonged to which version. In addition, a some devices running v4.2.2 colleagues was not the problem. Where as the document basically says that she should have. I should still try.

    So I have now two versions of the same application. The snippet of code on the bottom of the document

    is used for versions 4.2.1 below. Initially, the code snippet is used to 4.2.2 and more.

    Thanks again for all of you who have posted.

    Are you trying to put the tools back individually? There is a button on the 'Restore Defaults' Customization screen - it will define the interface to the way it should be. If not, you can check your add-ons for all suspicious extensions that could cause your interface to be like this.

    You can join your add-ons page by entering Subject: addons in the bar address, or go in tools > Modules. If your menu bar is missing, you can press "Alt" to show.
