Where is my book downloads on microsoft reader kobo windows8 pro source

I downloaded the kobo reader for my surface. But when I chose to download a book to read while offline. He isn't here? where is he when I choose to download for offline reading? I don't see my books if I have a wifi connection. It is a problem when I want to travel and read a book on my surface without the internet connection using my kobo reader. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Angie

After many hours with Kobo, I got this response

Arlen E: is your device a computer/laptop or is it a Tablet?
Its a Tablet but is a fully functional computer runs all programs is a portable computer the size of a tablet running Windows Pro 8.1
Arlen, e: very well. The reason why we have asked you for this is because the Kobo app currently does not work for tablets under Windows 8 or higher. The Kobo app has been removed from the Windows store and you will be able to use it if you have a computer/PC and that you need to download the software from the Web site hope, this helps

Download Windows 7. ISO file from the download page of the store. Then create a bootable DVD of the file .iso (see the last part of my post).

You need to save your documents (word, excel, photos, music, etc.) to a disk external USB or DVD media before starting the installation. As all applications will need to be reinstalled so look for product keys and media.

Once the DVD has been created the you have to start from it and to proceed with an installation "Custom"and clean. "

  • No matter what I try can not download free Adobe Reader or Adobe Pro 9.0

I recently had my PC repaired (motherboard had to be replaced and Windows XP SP3 was done as new installation).    Everything regarding the functioning of PDF was fine until last week.  Until last week, I was able to open, view, save and print PDF files.  Then for some reason the adobe acrobat program has disappeared.  I spent the last three days trying to download Pro Version 9.0 Adobe for 30 days without result trial membership.   (I informed the company by e-mail that I'm more interested in this product.)  Even if a window pop up it says "s been downloaded.  Also, I was unable to download the free Adobe Reader.   Nothing worked even after contacting Adobe customer for help.  I tried to play with the settings in the properties of Internet Explorer, AOL, etc.   I finally gave up and am looking to buy another software company just so I can open the PDF files.  As I read all these posts it seems Adobe uses its 'customers to beta test of his' new products.  I know it's commonplace in the commercial sector as there are has pressure to get new products and upgrades out over a period of time shorter than the past consumer products.   Comments?

    Sguitar.

Unfortunately, you did post on the public forum. They are new and a bit confusing. Certainly a step-down from those that we had a couple of days.

In any case, try to download the player (if you need only view PDF files) from http://get.adobe.com/reader/.

The trial of Acrobat is limited in any case. It is only good for 30 days from your original download. Then they want you to buy.

Foxit has a different PDF Viewer if you can not get player works.

I received by e-mail a file which I can not open... so I downloaded the Microsoft compatibility pack. He asks me to double click the File Format Converter.exe file on my hard disk to start the Setup program.  I'm not savvy and don't know where to find it!  Your help will be admired.  BF

Hello, I downloaded myself today and when I read your question, I went looking for him.

The only place where I found it was prefetch.

However, I was able to view the file after downloading.

When I download I always save it to the desktop, then the scanner and then double-click it to install. If you haven't noticed where it was installed, check your temp folder.

Or download it again and save it to the desktop.

    I hope this helps.

  • Microsoft Reader 2.1.1 is not enabled even if the activation was successful on the Web page on a PC under XP SP3.

Hi, I bought an ebook DMR in MS Reader a year or two he y a. I could download it and read it on the drive. I don't remember if I had to activate the player.  Today, I bought 2 other ebooks DMR.  When I tried to download, the site of the seller indicated that I need to enable the MS Reader.  So I've updated to the latest and tried to activate MS Reader.  I had loaded the drive as an administrator.  Even if the activation page says that I managed to activate the reader, I can't download the books from each vendor of books. Both said that I need to activate.  Even my old book now says I need to activate the player.  I tried to activate again and even turned off Comodo (my firewall) and ESET (my antivirus).  Once again, the says it all activation site is going well, but the sites of the said seller that is not.  I created another ID and tried to activate under this ID.  This 2nd ID gets just the error of Activation and the verbiage that Microsoft's Activation Server is unavailable.  I was pulling my hair out on all day trying different combinations to see if I can get this to work without success. Can someone help me please?  Thank you.

  • Cannot not software activate Microsoft Reader on Windows 7

After I installed Windows 7 Professional, I used IE to go to the site of Microsoft Reader Activation to activate my newly installed copy of Microsoft Reader. After logon and passing through the activation process, I got the familiar message that activation is successful. However, when I tried to open an e-book than required activation a message informing me that I don't have permission to open this title. It is advisable to reactivate the MS Reader software.

I tried this several times without success.

I tried to launch IE as an administrator and not as an administrator. During an attempt without site administrator should restart IE as an administrator, just as it did with Windows Vista. So, there seems to be no problem with either the Web site or with IE.

Yesterday, I installed Windows 7 after downloading to a COMPUTER technical school site. This version of Windows 7 doesn't seem to be a pre version or rc version. This is version 6.1.7600 build 7600 running on a Dell Inspiron 530 with a processor Intel 6320. Maybe someone can advise if I can continue to use this version indefinitely or that it will be necessary to upgrade to a commercial version later.

This version works beautifully and has no seeds other than a problem streaming to an xbox I think I found the answer to elsewhere in this forum.

I have installed many programs and updates, and it seems that there is no other major problem either with having program incompatibilities. Until this sound as solid as a rock. Much better than Vista.

  • Symptom: Downloads of Microsoft Fail - Am I infected?

I'm having a problem where all downloads from Microsoft, including Microsoft Updates tends to fail after 0.5 to 1 MB or more. This problem does not affect downloads of all other sites. It affects only Microsoft downloads. I've gone on several sites a-squared and got HijackThis and run other diagnostic tests, but nothing suspicious was ever found.

This problem does not occur whenever I start the computer. Sometimes I am able to download from Microsoft, but 90% of the time that I'm unable to download. Downloads failing first normal search but then after a few seconds, they suffocate and then after a few minutes they give up. This affects all downloads in all browsers (IE8, Firefox, Chrome) and also download assistants.

Is there a known XP SP3 bug or condition or infection causing this symptom? Thank you.
