Where is my voicemail?

iPhone 6

iOS 10.0.2

Since the download/install ios 10 and later, I receive a notice which remained a virtual machine, but it does not appear on the VM page.  Help!

Hey kr46,

If I understand well, left a voice message, but you do not see what it listed in your Visual Voicemail. Looks like this is only the case with a voicemail. Are you able to see other new voice messages coming? I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem.

  1. Call your iPhone from another phone and try to leave you a voice message.
  2. Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset network settings.

  • Folder/icon blackBerry Smartphones Yahoo! Mail question

    When you add a Yahoo! Mail account on your BlackBerry (that is if you use Yahoo! Mail), it adds a folder in Yahoo! Mail on your BlackBerry screen (the icon is a folder with an icon of 'Y' purple & white).  I could have sworn that whenever you get new e-mail, folder would have some sort of marking icon showing that the mail was sitting inside, mine is not.  I haven't used my BlackBerry a few months that I was using my iPhone but have now retreated to the BlackBerry.  Anyway if anyone can confirm if the Yahoo! Mail folder on the screen is supposed to reflect the new messages (by image) I would appreciate it.  The only icon I've ever seen is at the top of the screen (the area where will your voicemail icon, etc.).

    Thank you.

    I have a yahoo email that I rarely use so I had never even added it to my BB. But I just added so I could see what you see and possibly try to help. When I added the email I got the same icon you described. It's an envelope with the purple Y! This overlap. I myself sent a test email. The phone vibrates and I got a notification at the top of my screen that I get for all emails, but unfortunately, the icon remained unchanged which is quite annoying actually because it distinguishes only the folder that contains the new message. I'm sorry.

  • Work the transcripts of voicemail for AT & T iPhone 6?

    I have an iPhone 6, current running iOS 10 - everything seems to work fine EXCEPT the transcripts of voicemail.  This feature is available on iPhone 6s or newer?

    I got a new voice message from iOS 10 update, but it has not been transcribed.

    I reset the phone and I have reset the settings of the carrier, but still does not get voice messages transcribed.

    Any ideas or help available?

    Same question... I heard rumors about some other comment threads where users report it works but mine is not. Same old list of visual voicemail. When I contacted AT & T to see if there was something I had to do they informed me that "Apple removed that feature of iOS 10 '?

  • iOS 10 voicemail Transcription broken? (iPhone 5 s)

    Hello, I have an iPhone 5s which I've updated to iOS 10 this morning.

    Everything works as expected, however, it seems that the transcript of the voicemail does not work and actually broke my visual voicemail.

    I am in Australia, carrier is Vodafone, e-mail voice Visual is supported. And I Siri language English (Australia)

    When I opened the visual voicemail, I get my voicemail as expected. "Home" and "Edit" is clickable.

    When I click on the voicemail, namely and where I expect to see the transcript, the details appear with no transcript. And internet loading icon appears next to the battery icon. The detail view disappears immediately, and I'm taken back to the first screen.

    This happens if quickly, I don't even have a chance to really listen to my voicemail.

    Once the details disappear, I find myself with just the list of voicemail, notes, however, 'Hi' and 'Edit' is grayed out for editing. The only way to bring back must force quite the phone application and restart.

    If I try to access the view in detail several times, finally the phone gave up and allows me to play the voicemail. Usually after 5-6 tries.

    I have hard restart the phone (press and hold home and power button / stop), reset the network settings and tried different sim cards.

    Any thoughts?

    I also have glitches with voicemail. I received several messages today after updating to iOS 10. This particular glitch is irritating - whenever I click on a specific voicemail to play, it comes down to show the play button then snaps back to the top before I can click on play. She does over and over again (as well as not showing transcripts).

  • Palm Pre cannot do timed Pause or break closes in a dial string. (e.g. online access to the Conference; Access voicemail; NBR of 10 digits, pause, spindle)

    I called Palm support who told me to use commas for 1 second pauses, even if this was not documented any where ever I could find. After thanking them and hanging up I tried. It does not work. Commas are deleted as soon as you click DONE to save the changes. I called Palm, with the same number of tickets, and they have reproduced the problem. 18 hours later (as promised), they called back to say there is no work around, but software engineering focuses on this offer in a future update.

    Now, I can not access voicemail (1) Office, with House (2) answering machine, voice conference lines (4) (3) cable phone that requires entry of a PIN; (5) launching my own conference for others to compose in bridge.

    Those are often used while I'm driving (auto speed) 1 access key to an integrated chain of 24 characters with 2 breaks is a huge requirement for safety and convenience.

    This will be a major issue for the business users and the fix should be in the next push of software. This cannot be considered a new feature request, it's a bug. Even in charge think commas should work. This seems to be a mistake to design and test.

    [Later note: Although there is an open ticket to Palm, I have also posted here in the hope others would chime if this feature is important to them.] Visibility + Votes = pressure + interest = fixed sooner?  ]

    Features of technology of the Palm Pre are works perfectly for me. I don't know how something this basis exceeded the testers.

    Have you tried 'P' for break?

    Just curious...

  • No. forward to voicemail if no answer option in 5.7.0.1037 for Mac

    I'm going crazy or something is wrong. When I receive calls was able to respond that they are not going to voicemail and I can't find where the option is to set the time-out value. I didn't know that in previous versions, you can set calls to go to voice mail after a certain period of time.

    Please notify. Thank you.

    So, I have solved my problem! Unnecessary preferences screen gives you an option for incoming calls 1. Receive normally, i.e. without voice mail, 2. Automatically answer, 3. Calls and 4 send voice messages.

    When I select option 4, for my phone to ring and if not reply within the number of seconds defined in option 3 then it will divert to voicemail.

    So 4 Option must be selected even if it sounds first.

    Not a great UI as I read what all calls go to voicemail and would not sounded.

    Anyway prob solved.

  • Access voicemail

    Could someone clue me on how to listen to new voice messages on my Macbook Pro? I receive an email advising me of a new voice message. Skype (the soft, not online in a browser) is already open on my computer. I scroll down and see the message on the answering machine. I click on the play icon. Nothing happens. I thought clicking on the play icon would do to play voice messages. Where am I wrong?

    OK, so I was struggling with it so it would show that I have had the voicemail, but that he could not play AT ALL. I would like to click on play and absolutely nothing would happen. I was on a mac and thought that maybe that was the problem. But I kept messing around with it. Up to the. I discovered that one must be "online" in order to listen to them. Now I can hear very well. Makes me very happy and think it might be interesting to share with the rest of the world. That may not work for you, but it worked like a charm for me!

  • Voicemail configuration base with CUCM and connections of the unit

    Hello again,

    I'm still very new to CUCM.  I am configuring a CUCMB 6.01 test deployment.  He has connections in the integrated unit.  I have 2 DNs assigned to users and Cisco IP phones.  I use MGCP (Cisco 3745 with 2FXO as gateway).  Now, I'm trying to extensions of voicemail installation for the users.  I read a lot of documentation on CUCM and unity, but I know that Unity Express is not what I need, and that you have not found information on the basics of implementing voicemail for users of CUCM.

    Users are DN 1001 and 1002 respectively.  They are part of a list of hunting (broadcast) so that the arrival of incoming calls, both phones will ring simultaneously.  Not sure if this has any bearing or not.  I would like to be able to put in place so that each DN rings on the IP phone say 6 times, then go to a Unity voicemail box configuration for that user.  I have already imported users 2 in the unit.  I ran the voice messaging port configuration wizard.  Everything looks as if it runs correctly, but I'm stuck really share say CUCM to route the call to the mailbox of the unit.  Probably the simplest part.  Ideas or help on this would be much appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

    Impetuous salvation,

    CUCM works this way

    So the fact that 1001 and 1002 receive calls via a group has a significant impact on this config.

    You must keep in mind that a call that is routed through the fighter pilot will always ignore the CFWD settings on phones of hunting member of the group. The normal way to control it then is through disconnection of the Group Hunt members phones combined with the front fighter pilot level settings.

    The following section describes how the parameters to call it forward on the phones of individual members Hunt are ignored when presented a call via the hunting feature. Here's a clip;

    Hunting and call forwarding

    The concept of hunting differs from call forwarding. Hunting allows Cisco Unified Communications Manager to extend a call to one or more lists of numbers, where each such list can specify an order of hunting which is selected from a fixed set of algorithms. When a call extends over a part of hunting of these lists and the party does not answer or is busy, hunting resumes from the next part of hunting. (The next party of hunting varies according to the current hunting algorithm). Hunting has so ignore settings call forward No Answer (CFNA), call forward busy (CFB) or call before all (CFA) for the party to attempt (group member line phones).

    Cisco Unified Communications Manager offers the possibility to redirect a call when hunting fails (that is, when the hunt ends without a part of hunting to the respondent, due either to exhaust the list of numbers of hunting is to expire). If used, this final redirection includes an automatic call forwarding action. Therefore, the fighter pilot Configuration window includes call forwarding configuration concepts which are similar to those found on the directory number Configuration window.

    Example of a call hunt

    Although hunting is different from the transfer, Hunt often develops as a call that gets forwarded to a certain number of fighter-pilot. The protective cover of appeal extends from hunting to allow the final drive after two exhausts of hunting or expires.

    A typical call calling hunting can include the following phases:

    The appeal of hunting through groupings of posts set up according to the algorithms implemented for each group. Hunting is successful (if it meets a hunting party), exhausts (if all parts of hunting are tempted, but no response), or expires (if the deadline set by the Maximum hunting timer runs out before that all parties are tempted, and none of the parties who have tried to answer).

    For the purpose of this example, we assume that hunting does not succeed.

    If a form any of the final drive is configured, the call forward for a next destination; otherwise, the call is released.

    Maximum hunting timer

    The Maximum Hunt Timer field on fighter pilot Configuration window allows the administrator to enter a value (in seconds) to limit the hunting through a list of hunting season. After gaps in the time specified, if hunting was not successful, the call is transferred to a voicemail system, a specific compound number, or some personal treatment (if configured) or the call is released.

    The good doc.

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/voice_ip_comm/CUCM/Admin/6_0_1/ccmsys/a03rp.html#wp1078922

    If the call goes unanswered or all Member phones are disconnected, then an attacker needs to be applied at the level of the "fighter pilot".

    Hunt the settings forward

    Before hunting without an answer - when did not answered the call which is distributed through the list of hunting at a specific time, this field specifies how to transfer the call.

    Destination this parameter contains the number of the directory to which calls are forwarded.

    Before busy hunt - when the call which is distributed through the list of hunting is busy at a precise moment, this field specifies how to transfer the call.

    Destination this parameter contains the number of the directory to which calls are forwarded.

    Maximum Timer Hunt - enter a value (in seconds) that specifies the maximum duration for hunting. (Used in conjunction with Forward busy hunting)

    In your case, it is best to configure the DN of a fighter pilot in the extension of alternatives under the 1001 and 1002

    mailbox.

    I hope this helps!

  • Unity connection 7.1 email notification of voicemail

    I'm running the unit connection v7.1 and trying to provide my users with the following solution:

    (1) they get notified by e-mail when they receive a voice message.

    (2) the email contains information about the phone number and name (if it is available through AD) of who called.

    (3) they have a method to listen to the voicemail of their email.

    (4) the email cannot contain a voicemail .wav file, or have another method for a user to record voice messages in the form of .wav file.

    (5) ideally, the email will contain a link which broadcasts voice messages, or who takes the user directly to their voicemail box Cisco Unity Connection.

    I was able to successfully get the system to send a notification email with the phone number & name (as appropriate via AD).

    I was able to get the system to include a link in the email, but the link directs the user to the personal Communication Assistant homepage where the user needs to log, and then click the appropriate link to access their Inbox.  Is there a way to circumvent the obligation for the user to log on and also to send them a link directly to their voicemail box?

    If not, is it possible to configure the system to send a link that could listen to the specific message to a particular email notified their?

    I am open to the 3rd party add-ons for the solution.

    The only solution I can think is to build a solution in which the email is sent to an application of custom software that interacts with the Cisco equipment & sends the e-mail to the end-user.  It's not ideal.

    Thanks for the thoughts you can provide!

    Develop my comment.  I think that there is a major holdup is that:

    "(5) ideally, the email will contain a link which broadcasts voice messages, or who takes the user directly to their voicemail Cisco Unity Connection Inbox...

    Is there a way to circumvent the obligation for the user to log on and also to send them a link directly to their voicemail box? »

    SSO (single sign - on) is a problem because there may be several areas, you want this to apply to: for example, are you talking about SMTP to only internal, company email address?  You want to extend this to an external address?

    Technically, there is the IMAP (integrated messaging) solution which offers the possibility to get voicemail into email but, again-, this conflict without obligation your attachment or WAV.  You could go with secure messaging, which always has a WAV attachment, but the user must be authenticated to do anything with the message.

    You may be able to find something to your liking, but I doubt it will meet all of your initial needs.

  • How do I send a call to voicemail?

    Hi, I am a new BB developer. I have finished and understood the "Hello World" project, and I now move on to what seems to be the mandatory "Rejection of calls" program (where you can specify what calls are allowed to sound).

    I found a good tutorial on the basics of working with the calls and the phone class (net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.Phone): tutorial here

    So far, my code looks like this (Please be gentle, I'm new to Java and did not change the sample code little but more important still, I understand):

    /* * MyPhone.java */package MyPhone;

    import net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.*;import net.rim.device.api.system.*;import net.rim.device.api.ui.container.*;import net.rim.device.api.ui.*;import net.rim.device.api.ui.component.*;import net.rim.device.api.util.*;import java.util.*;

    public final class MyPhone extends AbstractPhoneListener {

      /* Simulate a list of numbers to send to voice mail */    public String[] badNumbers = {"+15555551212","+11234567777"};

      /* My Entry Point */    static public void main(String[] args)  {    MyPhone.registerOnStartup();  }

      static private void registerOnStartup()  {    MyPhone phone_handler = new MyPhone();    Phone.addPhoneListener(phone_handler);  }

      /* Constructor */  private MyPhone(){}

      /* Handles Calls */  private void checkCall(String ehandler, int callid)  {    PhoneCall callInfo = Phone.getCall(callid);

        if ( callInfo != null ) {

            /* If we have an incoming call, loop * through all bad numbers, and send * to voice mail if we found a match. */

            if(ehandler == "callIncoming"){                     for (int j = 0; j < badNumbers.length; j ++) {            System.out.println("Bad number is: " + badNumbers[j]);          }        }

           System.out.println("Event Handler: " + ehandler);       System.out.println("Telephone No: "  + callInfo.getDisplayPhoneNumber() );       System.out.println("Elapsed Time: "  + callInfo.getElapsedTime());       System.out.println("Call Status: "   + callInfo.getStatusString());    }  }

      // A call has been added to a conference call  public void callAdded(int callId)  { checkCall("callAdded", callId); }

      // User answered a call  public void callAnswered(int callId)  { checkCall("callAnswered", callId); }

      // User ended call  public void callEndedByUser(int callId)  { checkCall("callEndedByUser", callId); }

      // Call has been placed on "hold"  public void callHeld(int callId)  { checkCall("callHeld", callId); }

      // New call has arrived  public void callIncoming(int callId)  { checkCall("callIncoming", callId); }

      // Outbound call initiated by the handheld  public void callInitiated(int callid)  { checkCall("callInitiated", callid); }

      // Call removed from a conference call  public void callRemoved(int callId)  { checkCall("callRemoved", callId); }

      // Call taken off of "hold"  public void callResumed(int callId)  { checkCall("callResumed", callId); }

      // Call is waiting  public void callWaiting(int callid)  { checkCall("callWaiting", callid); }

      // Conference call has been terminated  // (all members disconnected)  public void conferenceCallDisconnected(int callId)  { checkCall("conferenceCallDisconnected", callId); }

      // Call failed  public void callFailed(int callId, int reason)  {    checkCall("callFailed", callId);

      }}

    In my loop where I check to see if there is an incoming call, I'll see if it corresponds to a wrong number. If so, I don't want no phone in the same ring, just ignore and go to voicemail.

    My question is, how? I've scoured through the API and do not see anything remotely close to send a call to voicemail.

    Thank you!

  • Problem of recovery voicemail blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

    I got a 2nd hand BB shot, get it unlocked and I use giffgaff - but I don't get voicemails. How do I set up my phone so I can get my voicemail messages?

    You need to call your service provider to get access to your voicemail phone number.  Once on the phone, they will give you the phone number to enter but also to tell you how and where he enter on your phone.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone VoiceMail reminder alert

    Please excuse the question, if the answer is in the Archives; I couldn't find it!

    Someone can tell me how to get my Storm2 to remind me where I had a phone call come or have voicemail?  I looked everywhere including alert messages but cannot find a way to receive reminders for voicemail, calls incoming or same email also!

    Please don't tell me that I need to check my phone all the time to see if someone has called!

    It would be very difficult to believe that the BB phones are not capable of simple signals.

    Thank you - Ken

    I understand your need?

    1. someone calls you messages or you
    2. you are not near your device and don't know aware of this
    3. an hour later, you get your device but do not look
    4. you wish to receive an audio notification every 10 minutes to tell you that something happened while you were away

    This is not possible with the main features of the BlackBerry browser. You can look at third-party applications for such a feature, for example BBAlerts or BerryBuzz BeBuzz.
