Where is the button create in Adobe Reader?

I'm trying to scan a document with a scanner, but to do this I need to find the button create which allows me to use the scanner.  The Create button is not found. It is not on the file menu and the left upper corner of the screen has an open button, but there is no button create.  I have Adobe Reader XI on Windows 8.1.

Adobe Reader does not allow to create PDF files - this is a PDF Viewer. If you are looking to create a PDF from a scanner, you can either use the software provided with the scanner, or, better yet, you can use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

    Hi Tarek,

    There are a number of things at play here. First to the top, we will place terminology. What you ask the subject isn't a digital signature, but rather a digital ID. Think of this as similar to the world where the digital ID is equivalent to a pen and paper is used to create the digital signature, just like the feather is used to create the wet ink signature.

    What you need to do is called a key roll on, where you give up the public key to prolong his life. The big question is how can you resign from the public key, and the answer is that you need the original certificate signature request (CSR in geek speak). Of course you don't have the CSR because you don't get one when you use Acrobat/Reader to generate a self-signed digital ID. Probably, this raises the question, what is a self-signed digital ID? A start of the process of generation and build a digital ID initially generate you the key private and public key. However, there is a bit of textual information that is also packed with the public key, such as your name, address (postal or e-mail). The public key and text information is packaged in the CSR, so you have the private key and CSR sitting there separately. The next step is to send the CSR to the issuer and to sign with his private key. At this point the issuer name, validity period, serial number and other information are package upward in the public key certificate file, which, incidentally, also contains the signature itself. Now you've got a signed with the corresponding private key, public key certificate sitting on your computer. If you take the two pieces and combine in a single file, you end up with a digital ID.

    The thing is, when Acrobat/Reader generates a digital ID, it uses the private key to sign the CSR, so the digital ID that has ensued is known as "Self-signed" in the part of the public key of the file certificate has been signed by its own private key rather than be signed by a CA issuing. CSR is removed during this operation and you done with just a digital ID in self with a life expectancy of 5 years. The whole process is made as simple as possible for the end user, this is why there is no CSR that flying over so that they treat.

    All that being said, your only option is to use Acrobat or Reader to create a new self-signed digital ID and start using that replaces the expired. You try to use Microsoft CAPI (Cryptographic Application Program Interface) to send the CSR to a CA to have them sign the CSR and return a signed public key certificate file, but I'm sure you guessed now, you do not the CSR to be sent, so MS-CAPI returns the error message you posted in red font. He can't really say that, but that's what it means.

    Everything was fine until they hit the location of the file in which the file SignatureLogo.pdf.  There is no such location of the file.  Or something like that.  I guess it's a difference between Acrobat and Reader.  Where I put this file for Adobe Reader?  I've already rooted through all files in C:-> Program Files-> Adobe-> Player 11.0 and go home empty-handed.  There is no security file.  I tried to create a folder called security in Reader 11.0 and place the file inside, it works no more.

    Search turned up nothing else than to unanswered questions.  I hope I have provided enough context information that mine will not the same thing, as a local jurisdiction requires that said watermark to change, and there are drawings for a project that cannot be made until this.

    The change can be done using only the free player.

    Here is the solution, if you do not have to hunt around with invalid documents, phone numbers, etc... as if I had to.

    If you configure a printer offering eFax free, but when you create an account, eFax, the 'Create new account' button is gray, then here's what you do:

    1. Call eFax @ 1-800-287-3499 and select "Sales". Do not select "Customer Support" because it prompts you to enter your fax number, you do not. Tell the sales person the question and ask to be transferred to a customer support agent.

    2. Customer support agent will take information from you such as your zip code, your email, your hpeprint email address, type of printer and then open a ticket with a representative from hp for the configuration of the fax number.

    3. You should then receive a fax of test from the person who took your eFax number. You will get also an email with the information you need for eFax, including your fax number and your PIN.

    Currently, Adobe Reader for iOS does not have an In - App text-to-speech function to read a PDF document.  There are no buttons or menus to start, pause, or stop reading the content of a PDF document in the Adobe Reader application.

    You pouvez use the Apple iOS "VoiceOver" built-in screen reader to read a PDF document.  But it probably didn't work as expected.  Because VoiceOver reads all the buttons and other controls that you select on the screen.

    You can go to iOS settings > General > accessibility > VoiceOver to turn it on and navigate back to a PDF document open in Adobe Reader for iOS for VoiceOver read PDF content.

    I just created a quote indented using ITC Garamond Book Italic with left and right margins altered. Well selected, I clicked on the + symbol in the paragraph, named the new Styles pop-up style Indented quote and you press return.

    Always selected in the body of the document, I applied the body paragraph Style to restore the normal formatting and then with the text again, the paragraph of citation Style indented - who worked as expected.

    If you want that your new Style of paragraph to survive across documents, you will need to save it in a model. You can also have two different Pages, documents open in Pages v5.6.1, and copy/paste the custom styles between the selected text in these documents by using the Format menu.
