where is the home page button, how do I do to return to the start page?
How can I return to the firefox splash screen, which is defined as my homepage? Cannot find a homepage button.
More customization is coming in the near future (perhaps Firefox 16 or 17 of Firefox)

The button was perhaps in your bookmarks toolbar. Can you ensure that the bar? You can turn toolbars on or off using one of these methods to display a list of the toolbar:
- Right click on an empty area of the tab bar, or the "+" button on the tab bar
- button '3-bar' menu > customize > show/hide toolbars
- Press the ALT key to activate the classic menu bar temporarily, and then view > toolbars

Sorry about that. It might be this time your home page and the Firefox start page are defined as your home page.
Here's how to reset your home page:
- Open your home page and close other tabs
- Click on the
menu button and click on Preferences
- In the Preferences window, click on general
- Click the use current Pages button

If I hit the Home button on one of them I have several tabs open, Firefox opens a new tab just next door with the Firefox start page. I searched in the options and am unable to find why this happens or how to stop it.
If this isn't a pinned (App) tab then the home page should open in this tab.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Did you remove all traces of high level in the layers (i.e. "layer-1") Panel?
When something like you describe is reported, most often the user does not understand the layers of high level exist across all pages and updates on the page of your site. If you delete "Layer 1" you may remove the content of all pages of your site.

You can assign an empty string to stop your Firefox to retrieve "extracts" and brandLogo changes the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref. Right-click this pref and select Edit then clear the value as pref in the box that appears, and then click OK. Not MY MSN, which is my home page, it returns to the top of MY MSN, which is irritating, especially if the elements that interest me are a group at the bottom of page on MY MSN and I want to read every 5 or 6 of them. How can I get the browser to return to the place I left?
Try to open the "statutes" in a new tab, and when finished read each article close the tab I hope the MY MSN page original will maintain the position you left it to (unless this page has an automatic refresh frequency, to add new items to the list).

What page you use as your home page?
According to the page you choose, sometimes it can all fit on the screen, based on your screen resolution settings.

When I click the icon "more" to open a new tab appears again my homepage. It displays a page of Web sites recently or frequently used in a format of screenshot showing the home page of the Web site that I could then click on and this website would be the load. Recently, Yahoo had an overlay on its splash screen that asked if I wanted it to be my default search engine. Without thinking, I clicked it and that seemed to change the way my home pages loaded on startup and how clicking on a tab is no longer produced the results I'm looking for as described above. I have since fixed the problem of the homepage so that it now loads properly when Firefox starts.
