where is the home page button, how do I do to return to the start page?

How can I return to the firefox splash screen, which is defined as my homepage? Cannot find a homepage button.

More customization is coming in the near future (perhaps Firefox 16 or 17 of Firefox)

The button was perhaps in your bookmarks toolbar. Can you ensure that the bar? You can turn toolbars on or off using one of these methods to display a list of the toolbar:

  • Whenever I click on the "home" button, my home page is displayed but a Firefox start page opens in a new tab. How can I stop this?

This problem began only after I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox.

    Hi Doug,.

Sorry about that. It might be this time your home page and the Firefox start page are defined as your home page.

Here's how to reset your home page:

    1. Open your home page and close other tabs
    2. Click on the

menu button and click on Preferences

    3. In the Preferences window, click on general
    4. Click the use current Pages button

I hope this will fix things. Let us know if it works!

    Best,

  • When you press the button Home, Firefox instantly opens a new tab the start page wth, how can I stop the extra tab to open?

If I hit the Home button on one of them I have several tabs open, Firefox opens a new tab just next door with the Firefox start page. I searched in the options and am unable to find why this happens or how to stop it.

If this isn't a pinned (App) tab then the home page should open in this tab.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Did you remove all traces of high level in the layers (i.e. "layer-1") Panel?

When something like you describe is reported, most often the user does not understand the layers of high level exist across all pages and updates on the page of your site. If you delete "Layer 1" you may remove the content of all pages of your site.

You must create a folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder yourself if it does not exist.

Use a text editor such as Notepad to create the userContent.css file and make sure that the type "All files" is selected to avoid Windows by adding an extension of .txt (hidden) file.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

    • Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file

  • How to get the video intro off my google home screen I already saw it, where is the firefox logo used to be.

How to get the video intro off my google home screen I already saw it, where is the firefox logo used to be. I started with the last update that I rebooted.

    Hello
to change the homepage when opening firefox-press 'Alt' and click on tools-> Options.

Main menu, you can change the URL.

If the problem persists, you can follow these simple steps:

Enter about: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Accept the message of 'dragons' to see the Advanced preferences screen. Use the above search box to enter the below pref.

You can assign an empty string to stop your Firefox to retrieve "extracts" and brandLogo changes the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref. Right-click this pref and select Edit then clear the value as pref in the box that appears, and then click OK. Who will also disable "snippets" that appear under the container of the research on the default home page.

Then you must open the folder of your profile, via help > Troubleshooting Information > profile folder > > button view folder. Then close Firefox. Your profile file open with Firefox closed (Firefox '3-bar' menu key > exit/Quit), wait or two minutes, then remove the storage\moz-safe-about + home folder in the Firefox profile folder to remove the brandLogo and stored in IndexedDB code snippets to make Firefox use the default brandLogo and a defined default code snippet.

If you later change your mind about these changes, you can reset the pref browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl via the context menu and Reset allows to retrieve the default value using the storage\moz-chest-fort-about + home folder again.

  • My home page is MY MSN and when I go to a certain article and I am in fact and that the browser goes back to the top of the page MY MSN rather than where I left

If I'm browsing subjects on my homepage and find one that reads my interest, I click on it and the browser goes on this site for me to read. When I'm through with that I hit the back button and on most Web sites, the original page back to where you were before you click on the interesting element. Not MY MSN, which is my home page, it returns to the top of MY MSN, which is irritating, especially if the elements that interest me are a group at the bottom of page on MY MSN and I want to read every 5 or 6 of them. How can I get the browser to return to the place I left?

Try to open the "statutes" in a new tab, and when finished read each article close the tab I hope the MY MSN page original will maintain the position you left it to (unless this page has an automatic refresh frequency, to add new items to the list).

  • my home page has moved to the left about 1.5 cm how he put it back in place again

my homepage has moved about 1.5 cm to the left how do I get it back in place again

What page you use as your home page?

According to the page you choose, sometimes it can all fit on the screen, based on your screen resolution settings.

If you like what the rest of your computer looks like, look in the lower part of your browser and if there's a scroll bar (you'll know if you see arrows in the lower left and right corners) click on the left arrow to see the rest of your home page.

Most sites these days are optimized for a 1024 X 768 screen resolution. At this resolution, scroll bars are not necessary, since most of the time you can see the entire page at once.

To change the screen resolution of 1024 X 768:

    1. click on Control Panel

    2. click on display

    3 click ' settings tab

    4. where is written "Screen Resolution", click on the bar and move it until you see 1024 X 768.

    5. click on OK

    Hope this helps

  • When I click to open a new tab how to get Firefox to display recent used frequently the web pages instead of my home page?

When I click the icon "more" to open a new tab appears again my homepage. It displays a page of Web sites recently or frequently used in a format of screenshot showing the home page of the Web site that I could then click on and this website would be the load. Recently, Yahoo had an overlay on its splash screen that asked if I wanted it to be my default search engine. Without thinking, I clicked it and that seemed to change the way my home pages loaded on startup and how clicking on a tab is no longer produced the results I'm looking for as described above. I have since fixed the problem of the homepage so that it now loads properly when Firefox starts.
Help, please. I would just go back to what I had when I clicked open a new tab. If anyone needs more information or clarification I will provide willingly. Thank you very much.

One of your modules corresponds to this number, for example, the version 3.18, or sounds associated with "hp" in some way? You can copy and paste a list of your extensions in a response by selecting the Extensions from the list on the next page with the mouse, then using Ctrl + c or right click > copy. Either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

When you paste, it's a little messy, but we are used to it.
