My Iwatch is synchronized with an Iphone which contained the water damage, and I had to replace my phone. Can I recover my photos of my Iwatch?

    Hello

No - you can't retrieve pictures directly from your watch. However, you can add your replacement iPhone.

Apple Watch stores the photos in an album photo sync on your iPhone. By default, it's on your album of Favorites (the photos that you have marked as Favorites). The photos may not be synchronized / extra back to your new iPhone to your watch - synchronization only works on the other hand.

To keep the same pictures on your watch once it is paired with your replacement iPhone, you must add these same photos to the iPhone. You may be able to do this by restoring a recent backup of your iPhone:

    - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

Once the pictures are on your iPhone, select the album to synchronize with your watch:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (low left tab) > Photos > synced Album > selects an album > allow them to synchronize after changing the albums.

  • I have a small gray bar at the bottom of my screen, could be the water damage but I don't know?

These are "scrollbars". I don't know what to call it, but they are visible when you zoom in on a page and there is more content available. If the phone have water damage, it must be replaced. -AJ

  • Extra fine + Crack appeared on the back, the water damage. Great concern!

    Hello!

I have a great concern. My phone was in perfect condition, when occurred the following:

I wanted to try how can I take underwater pictures.

The phone was in a protective case and there is no crack on this subject that I checked and cleaned the phone this morning when it happened (last day of dust and sand are passed under the deal as he was going out with me to the beach).

The phone was not overheated or left on the Sun that I just take 1 minutes earlier from my bag before I left for the Lake.

The Lake was really hot (about 30 degrees celsius South side of Lake Balaton) and sweetwater. I just overwhelmed the phone around 30 cm to test how it works. All ports were closed tightly during this period.

When I went to check the photo immediately realized that the screen is unresponsive to gestures, so I went out to the cost and dry it with a cloth that I thought it's because of the water on the screen. As it is always not answered I removed the screen cover and the protective case when I realized there is a small crack appeared on the back. Right after the screen began to falter and a fog appeared inside the main camera lens. I turned the phone immediately and let dry for two days in hot, dry conditions.

The phone started to work, but because the backlight of the LCD Panel does not (the phone however respond to gestures) is not usable either.

I work for a technical support to one of your major competitors (HTC), so I am fully aware how maintain a mobile phone.

I also insurance, so I'm not trying to avoid my responsibility in this matter, because I'm covered anyway.

However under this circumstanses I'm really disappointed about your product, because I followed all the instructions and rules, how to use the way phone below a limit.

Here are the pictures on the current state of the phone.

Can you help me to regain my confidence in your company?

    Kind regards

    Zsigmond

Sorry to hear that, but you would need to return your device to the place of purchase or contact the Xperia and have your device inspected because it is a forum for basic and as such, we are unable to say what would be the outcome or what will be said http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

  • MacBook Pro with the water damage...

So my best friend brought the computer geek, a year 2011? (do not know exactly what year, unibody) MacBook Pro 13 inches. He had a kind of drink spilled on it and now refuses to start. This isn't the only thing however. I managed to clean the corrosion off him, and it looks clean. I tried to turn on after that, the fan refused to turn but the CPU radiator was deadly hot. The screen or my external monitor wouldn't recognize it. The other problem is that the magsafe adapter is glitching now. She charges for a minute or two, then fades to the orange Sun, then dim green. If I plug it into my MBA, let it load for a minute, then put it back on, it does the same thing.

I unplugged RAM, DVD drive, trackpad, you name it. The only things attached are the keyboard and the fan. (also the HARD disk cable so the light of sleep will allow me I hope to know when it's on.) I have no idea what is wrong with it at this point. The real kicker is that the principal amount of corrosion was of about where the magsafe connector attaches to the main Board.

One last thing. Even when the magsafe light is dimly lit green, the status lights of battery on the service side and tell me if he is in charge.

    Help, please.

It could very well be a lost cause if there is damage to the system board.

I'd give course to reconnect the RAM for general operations to run correctly.

  • Indicator 6 water damage iPhone blushed

my iPhone 6a is accidentally fell in the toilet yesterday and my pocket. I had placed my phone in a sealed plastic bag with rice and Silicon gel. However, I also discovered that the water damage indicator has become red/pink. What should I do? Should I still wait to load my phone a few days later?

    Betty,

as far as I know that the water damage indicator will stay red in the future. It does not show that your phone is still wet, but the phone was in contact with the water.

If you have kept your iPhone in the bag plastic with rice and Silicon gel for a few days, you can try if it works always. But perhaps the water already destroyed.

If this does not at all or behaving strangely, you must go to an Apple Store.

  • to the 6s iphone water damage more

My iphone has been inundated by sea water for about 3 seconds. I have breath-sec, put in the rice, but it won't always turn.

However, I havn't opened the device on mine. In this case, can what support I get from Apple? I heard someone who has encountered the same problem paid about $300 and got a refurbished Apple iphone.  I understand that the liquidated damages are not covered by the warranty, but can I pay $329 for a warranty and get a new iphone more than 6 s?

In addition, is anyway to save the data when the iphone can not turn on?

You are right that the water damage is not covered by warranty. If you have Apple Care Plus, then it is covered as one of your accidental franchisees. If you don't have Apple Care Plus, then it would be a one off replacement under warranty. Depending on your location for the cost, it's the cost in the U.S., $329. See this link, and you can translate to your location if necessary. http://www.Apple.com/support/iPhone/repair/other/

If you cannot turn on the unit, then the only data you have are your last backup.

  • Plu heating and water damage

my ipod fell in the pool and ive put in the rice, but it does not turn when I put load response by heating but the screen is black and nothing happens.

Do not mix water and Electronics: strips of thin copper on the circuit board can corrode easily. It is very likely that you always have it damaged. Talk to an Apple Store - they can offer you a replacement reduced, although I don't know what their current policy (except that if it is still under warranty covering the water damage).

  • How to fix an iPhone those damaged by the water-6?

Ok. So, yesterday, I spilled perhaps 1/10 of a bottle of water on my phone. I skipped and it worked just perfectly. Then I noticed minor condensation on my camera lens. So, I waited for it to go, and he made himself disappear. Now, almost 5 hours later, iPhone works almost perfectly. I went to sleep with my phone works fine, but my contact ID and the volume Up button did not work well. I woke up and my phone is glitching. I turned twice, and I realized that it was a shame. So, I just wanted to comment that after any spill some water, it still worked perfectly well for about 5 hours and all of a sudden would not turn back. Thanks for any help!

When it comes to electronics, there is no such thing as "minor water damage. It's like saying that someone is "a little bit pregnant."

Make an appointment at the genius bar and get an output of replacement under warranty.

  • A lot of problems with the battery after water damage

Hello! I dropped my iPhone 16 5s in toilets and pay a repair man local £30 to repair rather than £205 from Apple.

He managed to get the phone to run, but now I have the following problem:

    1. phone overheating and tells me to cool before I can use it.

    2. in the use of the app from tesco to run errands the other day, he went to blue screen and restarted on every 5 minutes.

    3. the witness of the life of battery does not work and if you re - start, he recorded a good level.

    4. all supported, he constantly re-boots.

    Help, please.

This time, take it to Apple and pay what it costs.  Water damage to a phone apparently can leave dry on minerals on the contacts so that a simple drying will not work unless your technician who knows really what to do. the only problem is that if the phone was opened by a third party, that apple may bother on considering watch.

  • How to back up data from the iphone water damage over 6 sec.

I dropped my iphone more than 6 s in sea water, and it seems capable of lighting (which shows a black screen). I'm trying to back up data. When I connect the iphone with the computer, the following prompt box appears on itunes. Now I'm confused. Could someone answer my questions please?

    1. This means that my iphone is still able to turn it on?

    2. that means that only the screen is broken and the motherboard still work?

    3. How can I save the data without entering the password by using the touch screen?

    Thank you very much.

This means you should STOP PUTTING ELECTRICITY through your phone untreated, ack!

Your phone has a display problem, but yes - it lights up.
Perhaps your problem is just a bad screen (which is unfortunately a part of $250 to a 6 sec more now).  Apple cannot help you with other water damage that offers to sell you an iPhone refurbished for $349.

But most likely, your problem is also on the logic board - usually fixable.

There is no way around the need for touch operation and the image on the phone to access the data.

In order to access the data on the phone, you need your advice to hold the power and start, (it does) you need of your screen image lines, and you need to contact work.  Ideally, you would also have your backlight lines works as well.

Most of the phones in this condition have a pretty good shot in data recovery in this situation - touch, and line of the image problems are usually solvable if your phone can be detected by iTunes.   It is certainly not DIY work, this is a troubleshooting open-ended the microsoldering and level of card issues.

Your only option for recovering data would be to find a good microsolderer experienced in data recovery.

I recommend to replace any phone which has seen water, corrosion on the Board always weakens solder everywhere, so the phone is likely to have a shorter duration of life more problematic.

Note: It may be possible to cancel your option for the swap of OOW $349 at Apple if you continue recovering data at the level of Council - although I've never seen this happen.

  • IPhone 6 s water damage, the phone turns on, is the battery just fried?

My phone got wet almost a hot tub... was not at all.  Tekdry working on it, so its dry and did not work during a day.  Now its finally works when it is plugged in, but used to hold a charge and seems to be stuck in recovery mode.  IM more than sure that it must just be the battery.  In any case, she takes in the Genius bar, unfriendly guy told me they would not replace battery water damage indicators show?  Why wouldn't they just allow me to pay for a replacement of the battery?  I know it may or may not work and of course my phone is out of warranty damage, if Im not looking to blame future maybe problems on Apple.  Just shocked I couldn't give them $90 to a new phone?  Is this a common practice?  They said that they would only replace whole phone for $299... Please help or give advice, thank you!

Yes, it's standard. Your only option with Apple will be to pay for a full out-of-warranty replacement device.  The costs for this in the USA are $ 299 for which you get a refurbished device to factory OEM with a 90 day warranty.

  • My water damage to the title of the experience of the guarantee

I sometimes gently clean my Z3 with cold tap water to remove traces of fingers. Flaps still not closed, no long exposure and immediately dry with a towel. Must be able to manage, right?

Last month, a few minutes after having done this, I could see water inside the screen and he stopped responding to touch. I could also see drops of water behind the glass of the camera. After a night in rice with the open shutters, it has not improved.

For what I was able to study, it seems that the water could get out of a poorly pasted back panel.

I red a lot of testimonies from people with damage to the water with a Z3, in my opinion, there could be a DESIGN FLAW with the waterproof in the Z3. Check out youtube!

This story has a happy ending. I sent the phone, which was under warranty, in the service of Sony and they sent me a new unit in a week. Kudos for customer service!

I think I used to play with the water more, I do not know my phone takes care of everything. Sony made false advertising with their waterproof phones.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause, but glad to hear that you are happy with our service.

While I heard of this before in some cases, I can assure you that this is not a general design flaw. It must have been something wrong with your device.

Where is the setting to display a notification indicating that the "CAPS LOCK" is activated, any type of program is used?

    Original title: CAPS LOCK.

Where is the setting to display a notification indicating that the "CAPS LOCK" is activated, any type of program is used?

There is no native parameter.  Is your keyboard led (if she has a) can be used, OR use a third party program if your keyboard does not have cpome with indicator software (probably it didn't it.)

  • How to fix an iPhone 6 water damaged?

My iPhone 6 recently fell into the toilet clear-watered and I automatically took and cut the power, I then took down to the it Department in my college and had a technician shake all the water and remove my hard case to dry everywhere for me, but also to remove the SIM card. From there, I kept it out and about two hours later, obtained a bag of white rice to the kitchen of the College to put my i6, before putting it in my friend tried to turn it on and managed also, only the apple symbol pops up on the screen and it wouldn't really lights up, it is the latest sign that I saw him working. I went to repair an electronics store downtown, but the guy gave me a call recently and said all hope is lost for her. I am extremely disappointed by Apple at this time and I refuse to think that my iPhone 6 is burned because I saw many people fix on YouTube by soaked in alcohol, or something! I'm not sure what the seller of electronics, but I feel like I'm sure he didn't do much to revive. Please tell me that all hope is not lost, and how do I manage to fix it. I've been a very loyal customer to Apple and always highly recommend it to other people, but if my iPhone 6 is simply grilled on a 1 second fall-in with the toilet, I'll be sure to cut my short loyalty and express my very negative experience with others. The iPhone 6 is very expensive and should not have such abilities of poor water/water waterproof resistance of the water.

Blame you Apple to drop your phone in the water? Are you serious?

Even if the phone is quite expensive, it IS NOT impermeable to water, is not allowed to survive water damage. This is clearly stated everywhere where it is possible.

If you need a phone that is sustainable water, you should look for one of the specific models that have these capabilities and which are certified and tested to be waterproof to the water.

You can only hope for the best and maybe leave a feature request for Apple at the link.
