Where Resistry of OneCare Cleaner?

I was using OneCare Safety Scanner to the cleaner, I Security Essentials which works fine but I noticed on the site of One Care that it's just an analysis of the AV now. How can I get the registry cleaner, it worked VERY well?

Hello

OneCare officially ended on April 11, 2011.

A tip - registry cleaners do not fix issues, more often they cause them. In particular

The OneCare was safer than any other that I have evaluated.

  • is there a registry cleaner free

Is there a registry cleaner free of Microsoft?

It has been/is a registry cleaner in Windows Live One Care safety analysis.

Years, they released a product called RegClean 4 which was necessary to maintain the size of the registry, Win 9 x small enough so that it wouldn't crash the machine. He never removed the safer of the entries, and I guess that the OneCare registry cleaner works in the same direction.

There are three types of registry cleaner.

Type #1 does nothing but remove safer entries and has therefore no impact on performance.

Note that the OneCare cleaner registry is just one part of a major clean-up operation and is not sold as the main element ' go faster '...

#2 type removes entries more safe but also other flags entered as potential candidates for removal. This type can remove some features because it offers choices that cannot be fully understood by the user of the computer.

#3 type promises realization just as it was when you were first of all the computer, but this is because the user must run the 'back to the factory' procedure to recover a work computer. In a perverse way, the statements are true, but the method to get '' there '' makes nothing better than scams.

Microsoft is aware that the register used by Windows 2000 and all derivatives since actually ignore the orphan entries, and the maximum size of the registry is well above what any user could get it.

If Windows 2000 > registry Gets a big enough mistake, you never get the chance to use a registry cleaner because Windows does not start in any case. Manual registry and reconstruction removal, it is not always successful of success and the amount of commands must be typed exactly, or there is a risk of worse... not that it can do a lot worse than a computer that does not start in the mode of... (-:

Microsoft also knows what a registry cleaner used on Windows 2000 > can improve performance when used as the only tool.

To this day, I don't understand why Microsoft never included a registry cleaner in the OnerCare package. All it does is keep the living myth that registry cleaners have value, opening the door to every registry scam cleaner...

It is best to avoid contact with the registry cleaners.

  • Satellite A30 - question about the CPU temperature

    Hi all

I have a Satellite A30 (model name: SA30-151, model number: PSA33E). I had the usual problems with overheating and closing, where I had to clean the radiator.

My question is, how hot the CPU must sit at and what temperature is dangerous?

I installed 'Hardware sensors Monitor' and the average temperature is about 55 c, but I saw it happen at 70 c when I'm pushing it.

I was not able to find something on the net about it and I can't find information on the Toshiba site.

Any help or advice would be appreciated, thanks...

The same temperature is on my Tecra M1. Believe me, there's really no reason to panic.

  • Upgrade to Snow Leopard and Time Machine

Hello. I found this topic in an old topic, but it has been blocked so I couldn't answer. Here is a new.

I have a fairly old MacBook Pro... mid-2007. Provided with Tiger. Upgrade to Leopard in 2010 or more. I want to now upgrade to Snow Leopard and make a complete installation where I have completely clean the existing hard drive.

I did the Time Machine backups for about four years on my external hard drive. When I install Snow Leopard on my MBP, I can just do simple drag and drop the kind of things from my external hard drive on the hard drive of the MBP?

For example, once I've erased the hard disk of the MBP and do a new installation of Snow Leopard, can I then connect my external hard drive, open a certain folder and something like Pages slide window of the HD to the window of the Applications on my MBP?

    Thank you!

Drag and Drop could be a problem, because these applications and files will not be usable unless they are properly updated. It would be better to have a clean install of Snow Leopard and then use the Migration Assistant to transfer files from your Time Machine backup. Note that Snow Leopard will ship with the Apple apps so they do not need to be transferred. You can check with 3rd party developers to ensure the compatibility of their software and upgrade options.

It is with the Migration Wizard:

  • How to record various objects used by an external C function

I want to do my own LV component that calls a C function that uses an external API. For the first time, my function is called, it creates and defines variables and some API objects and store them. If the future my function calls do not need to define and create them again. The main problem is that this variables and objects must be different for any instance. I mean: if I have several components to call a library function, the call to my function, running at the same time, I need them to create variables and objects, instead of sharing their own API. So I need to be able to access or to allocate a memory space for each different instance of the NSI component that calls to my function.

How can I do this with the function of library call? Is there another approach to this? How?

    Thank you very much.

    eduraser wrote:

OK, I really appreciate this answer, thank you very much.

Of course, I understand that I need to create a function which deletes, clean, free, etc., all objects and the variables created. But I don't know where exactly call to clean up at the right time. I want to have cleaned up the Labview runtime stops (do not break)... so do I call it as a reminder of the library call feature? Anywhere else? Another option?

    Thank you very much!

Well in general, you flow "create(), read() read(2)/write(2) () / () use, close() in an application" for any resource and close() would be where you would have to call your function has.

If you want this fact automatically, half only officially documented way is indeed the named of the dialog configuration node unaptly callback function call library. How is this registrant one or more additional function that takes a pointer as a parameter value. This pointer can be everything you want it to be, and you can configure your function to have an additional parameter which is not exposed on the diagram, but rather helps him pass this pointer.

LabVIEW maintains such a pointer dataspace CLN instance and calls the callback function that appropriate specified events and pass this pointer to data. For example, you can check in the call to the create function if this parameter is NULL, and if yes to store a handle to your resource in there. When the reminder cancel or abort is called you could go and own up to your resource.

    Hi all.
Acer Aspire es1 512 about 8 months old... unfortunately was running that bloody Win 8.1 with Bing oem

Started slower and slower start for no apparent reason... (+ 10 mins to start)

Tried restoring win 8.1,repairreset palarvour and he just constantly stuck on auto repair, do nothing.

Tried to upgrade to win 10 (the one where I'd install clean drive)... got so far and then projected black.

Now when it boots up, I get the screen where it says that the image below

    Ok

Just a quick update, so I'm not leaving this hanging.

Scan found 100, in thousands of errors.

During the next startup the laptop told me that there is no bootable operating system.

The hard drive was dead as a dodo so he sent to Acer via UPS.

They said that the hard drive was indeed defective and replaced the hard drive and sent it to me

within 5 days under the 1 year warranty.

Turn on the computer laptop and relocation of the stuff, I was immediately greeted with a "this laptop.

Many thanks Acer for the fast turnaround and Ultra thanks for Ace Ironfly for taking the time

We have replaced the cartridges (with HP) and now we can print only about 1/2 a page, sometimes 1 page-, then it displays an error, "There is a problem with the printer or the ink system" and the printer should be set and to continue...

We bought new (2nd series) of the ink cartridges and the same behavior exists.

It seems to point to a new print head - but those who are more expensive than a new printer.

Are there other measures I could take to try to resovle?

I can't find scraps of paper (ie: torn, jam, etc.), nor any excessive ink any where - everything seems pretty clean.

I removed the print head and cleaned the contacts.  I cleaned the contacts on the ink cartridges. I ran "Clean print head" in the Tools menu (which results in the same error)

There are sometimes up to 3 of these messages "stacked."

It is died regardless of what was asked of it... ie: print from netowrk, printing via usb, copy color, copy b & w, etc..
