Where the Doc

Curious to know if anyone has heard of the Doc, the super helpful guy on this forum? He has not been on more than two weeks. Hope he is OK and come back soon.

I miss him, too.

Guess he's in the Delorean travel paths of latest technology.

  • How to exclude search results where the situation is just the right search term was found

    Is there a way to exclude the results of search results where the search term appeared in the path/location of the file?

    For example, I find the term 'XYZ' and am only interested in results that include XYZ in the name of the file (not the path) or in the content of the file.  I want to have the screen of search results that appear only because "XYZ" was found in the path.

    One thing is certain, you're familiar with some of the great powers in search bing or google?  For example, how you can search something like this on bing:

    How to set the folder site: cmdrkeene.com view (s)

    This site: cmdrkeene.com tells your Internet search to look at only one site for these terms.  Windows allows you to do the same thing in areas very choose what to look for.  So for your case, type it like this:

    filename:XYZ

    Or if your file name includes spaces, type it between quotation marks, as follows:

    file name: 'project xyz '.

    This is a file if it has those in the special file name.  This includes a file of type "Project WXYZ" because he always has these letters in it.  If you want to ONLY have these letters, nothing else at all (exact matches only), you can put a ~ after the colon.  That means "file name must exactly", then this:

    file name: ~ 'project xyz '.

    Although it would be unlikely to find anything, because most files have something after the name (such as .doc or something), so you can use a * generic, just like the old days:

    file name: ~ "xyz project."

    It's probably more that you wanted to know, but the first example is what you :)

  • Where the images of the workspace are stored at the Apex 4.2

    Hi guys,.

    I downloaded images on the apex by selecting the workspace Image downloading. Now I want to export all images so that I do not need to download them all again in case something happens to my machine and I should be able to import all the images in one click/command in the new installation of. But I don't know where the pictures of the workspace are stored. Are images stored on the local file system or in the database? If in the database then the schema that I need to export and I will be able to import all the images in the exported file? In the case of OS file system and which directory (full path) he holds?

    Images that you download via Shared component-> files-> Images

    get downloaded in the WWV_FLOW_FILES.

    You can query on WWV_FLOW_FILES to see your downloaded files.

    select
        id, flow_id, name,
        filename, title, mime_type,
        doc_size, dad_charset, created_by,
        created_on, updated_by, updated_on,
        last_updated, content_type, language,
        description, file_type, file_charset
     from
        wwv_flow_files;

    Include all your images and files in your application using the supporting function of the object, so whenever wen you export your application at this time, your images and your include files also get exported with the application.

    1. go to your Application -> support objects component shared icon before

    Installation -> Install Scripts ->, click Create button -> to Create Scripts for install files (under tasks) under

    According to this, you will get a list of all the CSS, image and static files to downloaded in your application, select the checkbox of the files you want to include in the export file.

    2. application -> support-> tab objects export

    Include definitions of object support in export - Yes

  • Creating repository and depot (reading the docs but always stuck)

    Hi you all,.

    I want to create a repository with deposits to install some patches on an ESX 3.5.

    From what I read in the docs according to (patch management guide), I created a webfolder vacuum for a repository. Now a subfolder that contains the deposit, but this deposit would need two files, the contents.xml and the contents.xml.sig... where do these files from?

    I know that they are part of the beams, but these new bundels would just subfolders of the warehouse... pls help out me.

    Thanks in advance!

    OK, have done it myself. I downloaded the complete contents.xml (it is referenced somewhere in this forum) and edited. As contents.xml.sig would no longer be valid, I'm using esxupdate with flag - nosigcheck. And I'm going, it works...

    Best wishes

  • Where the CBO

    Hello

    CBO creates for a query execution plans, but where is the CBO; I mean, it is part of the server process or a user process. As I said select * from myTable; and press ENTER, how, when and where the CBO is available in photo? I'm a little confused. Please give me the link of doc to clear this doubt. What exactly CBO (cost based Optimizer on)?

    Thank you.

  • The doc is correct on the constraint not null and scan limited index full?

    I wasn't expecting to see because the doc said about scan limited index full "...". and at least one column in the index key has the NOT NULL constraint,"which would be foolish to say if the rowid was what filled that. There are currently only 2 factory codes and code 1 company (not nulls - Oracle does know that?), so I was kind of expected Oracle to reorder the predicates with an index skip scan. Take a fresh look on the doc, I wonder if I should not specify the company code in the query and maybe spend employee and job_number in the index. I hope it's obvious that this index has been added for other queries. This request could be taken out a change in the requirements of anyway, but I don't know when.

    Joel,

    I just had this 'already seen' (new) sense to speak of it.

    Mentioning the reference 11.1 gave you:

      + "Index full scans are an alternative to a full table scan when the index contains all the columns needed for the query, and at least in the index key column has the constraint NOT NULL. A full scan can access the data of the index itself, without access to the table ' + '.

    This so obviously must be bad that I couldn't decide if I was proven wrong or was amazed to find that I couldn't he show the falsity. (Just because something is obvious, it does not mean it is true – Terry Pratchett.)

    However, here is the obvious counter-example - that I came across 8.1.7.4 because it's the oldest version of Oracle that I have now:

    create table t1
    as
    select
         rownum               id1,
         rownum               id2,
         rownum               id3,
         lpad(rownum,10,'0')     small_vc,
         rpad('x',100)          padding
    from
         all_objects
    where
         rownum <= 10000
    ;

    create index t1_i1 on t1(id1, id2, id3);

    begin
         dbms_stats.gather_table_stats(
              ownname           => user,
              tabname           =>'T1',
              cascade           => true

         );
    end;
    /

    set autotrace traceonly explain

    select
         /*+ index_ffs(t1) */
         id1, id3
    from
         t1
    where
         id2 = 99
    ;

    No 'NOT NULL columns". But any line I will have a (non-null) value for id2, then it should be in the index - then Oracle should be able to do a full scan and get the right answer. Here is the map (I have no need of Council - but your configuration may be different):

    Execution Plan
    ----------------------------------------------------------
       0      SELECT STATEMENT Optimizer=ALL_ROWS (Cost=4 Card=1 Bytes=12)
       1    0   INDEX (FAST FULL SCAN) OF 'T1_I1' (NON-UNIQUE) (Cost=4 Card=1 Bytes=12)

    If you change the predicate to: "id2 is zero", then the only legal path is an analysis.

    No, the only place to get iOS apps is on the app store (via iTunes on a computer or an App Store app on an iOS device) and you must be in a country to use its iTunes/App store (which is part of the terms of the store) - until if/when Apple open an iTunes store in Bangladesh (we are fellow users we do not know what might happen until Apple announce something) Unfortunately you will not be able to download any content from the iTunes store.

    When you export the edited versions, select "location information". File > export > export... photos.

    When you export the originals (file > export non-original), activate the sidecar file.

    Then you should be able to see the GPS values with exiftool or outline:
