  There seems to be 2 ways to access the BBM. There are api BBM in documentations of BB you can see here:
  http://www.BlackBerry.com/developers/docs/5.0.0api/index.html net.rim.blackberry.api.blackberrymessenger of the package. However, there are also the BBM SDK APIs, which seems to be quite different.

  I searched the hi and low for a comparison of these 2 ways to access the BBM. I'll appreciate your help.

  BTW: I built an application with the BBM API in the documentation of BB (not the BBM SDK docs), but I get nothing when I try to access the session, i.e. MessagerContact.getSession (where MessengerContact is a MessengerContact object). I don't understand the reason for the null value. I run the tests from the emulator.

  BBM API documented in the Javadocs is for the old BBM, which was replaced.  The SDK is so the way forward.

• Can I open a Premiere Pro file in the prelude via xml or another method?

  I swallowed a lot of sequences using prelude. It was working fine! I did the subelements of the different slates, and the naming convention worked well. I could find easily takes the days (Day1Slate1Take1) etc. for different cameras.

  As prelude failed to open the last file .prproj I want to know if I can call sort to the top of the first prelude pro file structure?

  I saved the original file of prelude, but after that I sent the first I built a new structure of file with sequences, Audio, Visual effects, etc. MultiCam.

  The problem I have now, is that some subitems is missing in the first pro file. (I think I skipped a few takes thinking it was done...)

  If I have the filter so that it Prem, I see the subitems. If I got the filter to do there as a prelude, I see subitems and the original clips of what he brought.

  I want to edit the file first but as a prelude...

  Please try the workflow between Prelude and Premiere Pro.

  In fact there is no option to 'Send to prelude' similar to what you see in prelude--> send on the file menu for Premiere Pro. As the workflow is designed as a log file as a prelude, creating scripted, sending Pre Pro, edit the files in pre pro and the creation of the final video. After sending the files of prelude to pre Pro, any change that you engage in multimedia files through prelude would be automatically visible in Premiere Pro.

  Although if you re-importation/reingest the same files, where the changes have been made in Premiere Pro, with Prelude, all changes would be visible as a prelude.

  Make sure xmp files that are located in the same place as the original files are not deleted, they retain all the logging information made by prelude/Pre Pro.

  Anyway, you always can once again log files in Prelude and send them to Premiere Pro.

  The target audience is not limited to people of Visual Studio, we want to make the SDK easily accessible from environments as much as possible, it is certainly PowerShell. If there is anything we can do to make life easier in your environment, let know us and we will try to accommodate you (the example is the apparent lack you mentioned).

  To prepare the environment, all you need to do is copy ThinAppSDK.dll and ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe in the same directory and run "regsvr32 ThinAppSDK.dll" (from the elevated command prompt). There is no need to manually start ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe. ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe is used when you access the ThinApp SDK from a 64-bit application and is automatically started by Windows when necessary.

  Maybe a little technical background: ThinAppSDK.dll is the DLL that implements the ThinApp SDK as ThinApp.Management objects. It is a 32-bit DLL, if you create an object ThinApp.Management to a 32-bit process Windows will load ThinAppSDK.dll into this process (if the DLL has been registered properly with regsvr32). However, it is not possible to load a 32-bit DLL into a 64-bit process. So if you try to create an ThinApp.Management object from a 64-bit process, ThinAppSDK.dll cannot be loaded directly in this process.

  This is where ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe comes. Windows will detect this situation and will automatically launch ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe. Given that ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe is a 32-bit application, it can load ThinAppSDK.dll very well. Windows then 'send' ThinApp SDK calls (for example, the GetThinAppType method call) process 64-bit ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe, who will forward in turn to ThinAppSDK.dll. The result will be reflected back from ThinAppSDK.dll to ThinAppSDKSrvr.exe via Windows 64-bit application. This may seem complicated, but everything happens behind the scenes, you should not have to worry about this.

  Therefore, the ThinApp SDK actually does support 64-bit applications. I just tried and launched a PowerShell 64 bit on Win7 x 64. I have had no problems running your samples. Not sure why it did not work for you.

• A recent problem in the prelude, which I've tried to fix without success, drives me crazy

  Hi all

  I use Adobe stuff for about 15 years.  Mainly photographic and illustration, but also more recently getting into video editing.

  I used prelude to sort various multimedia clips, setting in and out points and then transcoding to another location.  It worked fine, but suddenly and to the extent where I have a conscience nothing has changed on my system:

  ASUS P7X79 Pro mobo, 32 GB Ripjaws 2400 mhz DDR5, Intel i7 3930 K 3.2 Ghz, Intel 250 GB SSD (Boot), 2 x WD Raptor 500 GB drives in RAID (storage media), 2 x 120 GB SSD drives the two zero.  ATI HD 7950 3 GB graphics card (I know that NVIDIA for MPE) but I can't justify buying a card Quadro that this system is just 8 months and was well suited to the job chart and illustration.

  BUT prelude crashed, and since then I can not deal with multiple clips, i.e. set different exit points for many in this directory file and then ingest the, in bulk.  If I've made a point of entry/exit and click on another clip, I lose the changes, all the thumbnails disappear and say treatment and that happens all the time.  No matter where these original media files are, I tried moving them.  I can hear the audio fine.  What I've noticed, is that the prelude a new. CFA and. PEK file each time I click on a clip to preview it in this directory.

  I can deal with the media ok if it exists as a single item in a directory.  Not great, but it is a workaround until I found that sending more about 4 files in the results of the follow-up in the SOUL crashing.  I can deal with these same files in bulk by SOUL when done without prelude but fortunately course, it is nice to be able to get only the bits of the image.  Prelude is exactly what I looked if I could find a solution to this problem.

  I know not what SDK you are referring. the latest version of the Flex SDK is 4.6.0 and NetConnection.nearID is present. the latest version of the AIR SDK is 3.2, and this property should be present there (although I can't test than where I am right now).

  do not forget that you are targeting at least Flash Player version 10 or later. NetConnection.nearID was not present before the Flash Player 10.

  I am trying to build a plugin that can use a codec customized to export a video imported to h264 format.

  The codec I use converts a raw YUV420 format h264 video. As stated in the Guide of the first SDK

  the exporter SDK is not compressed 8-bit RGB with or without alpha and packed
  10-bit YUV (v410). The initial rendering is done by the RenderVideoFrame() function call, which is said in RenderAndWriteVideoFrame().

  It is then converted using various calls such as ConvertFrom8uTo32f(), ConvertFromBGRA32fToVUYA32f() and ConvertFrom32fToV410().

  The problem I facing m's than I m not able to check if the RenderVideoFrame() is working properly and the format in which he writes.

  Is it possible to check using any multimedia player that can play the exported video. Unless I know that the exact exported format (correct)

  I won't be able to convert the required format of YUV420 I need.

  Also if I use the ConvertFrom functions and use only the video stream released RenderVideoFrame, can u clearly specify the format

  Hello Agam,

  The exporter is what writes the actual file, so, technically, you can create everywhere where you want.  The exporter gets exDoExportRec.fileObject during the exSelExport selector.  You can use the file Export Suite to get the path provided by the host (Premiere Pro) and instead to write media to a different file path using your own file system calls.

  However, written to a different location may have undesirable side effects, since the host won't know if you changed the destination of the file.  This could cause some things to not work, including:

  Automatic importation after having made a direct export (do not use the queue of rendering SOUL)

  * XMP embedding (for metadata)

  * Post FTP Encoder process (which can be specified by the user in the export settings FTP tab)

• Basic question on the Flex SDK kit:

  I'm a noob and can not afford Flex Builder, so I downloaded the Flex SDK kit.  I have the Java runtime and my sys JAVAHOME variable value.  I ran the

  C:\Program Files\FlexSDK\samples\explorer\build.bat

  .. .and it ran for a few minutes (I assume with success since I saw not the word "error" appear anywhere in the command line window).

  Now - I don't know if Component Explorer had been there before in the original of the Flex SDK kit download (where all which I copied into a directory I made called "C:\Program Files\FlexSDK\", but he is now inside the directory "C:\Program Files\FlexSDK\samples\explorer\".)  I don't know whether or not my batch.bat running created this "Explorer.html".  T it?

  My next question.  When I opened this Explorer.html - I received the order to Flex files to view sample - I see nothing but gray.

  I don't know what to do, but this is compounded by the fact that I am new to all of this - I don't know what to expect or the other.

  It looks like a write permissions problem. The Program Files directory has restrictions more stringent than other directories and mxmlc fails silently write the swf file.

  Please, create a "FlexSDK" directory directly under C:\ or in your own user directory, expand your SDK it and try again.

  No, the only place to get iOS apps is on the app store (via iTunes on a computer or an App Store app on an iOS device) and you must be in a country to use its iTunes/App store (which is part of the terms of the store) - until if/when Apple open an iTunes store in Bangladesh (we are fellow users we do not know what might happen until Apple announce something) Unfortunately you will not be able to download any content from the iTunes store.
