  This code accesses a system of axis line style:

  As described in the topic, is it possible to add more than 1 table to a Word report?

  Very simply, I have some test data in a table and added to my report with the addition of the report table vi.

  I have the same thing again to send data to a different table which I would like to insert in my report in table form. I placed a second addition table report vi directly after the previous vi, but it doesn't work.

  ... Am I stupid? or this function is only meant to be used at the same time? Maybe I need an another vi after adding table vi before you can add another?

  Change the width of two column Table add to Report.vi from 10 to 1. Setting the value to 10 (unit are inches) will throw an error.

• Change line styles in an Excel chart

  I use the tool to generate report in LabVIEW 2009 and need to change the three lines on a chart line styles in Excel.  I found the property node which allows me to change the line style, but I'm not sure what to spend in the Variant.  I tried the name (IE xlDash) and the integer value (that is to say-4115) but doesn't seem to work.  Someone has already tried this and can offer advice.

  I should have posted this more soon but I found my own solution.  I decided to read properties of a chart excel and uses LV, an integer that represents the value corresponds to the place where in the list in Excel is the line style.  That is to say continuous has a value of 1 because it is the first in the drop-down list in Excel, dashboard has a value of 2 because it is second in the list, etc.  A problem with this is that your code is not very robust, as the result may change if Microsoft changes the order of their menu drop-down in verisons them more recent Excel.

  According to my understanding, there are no other ways to add new lines of style to the PDF document.

• Matter of style re: line style

  I wrote a style that makes the first line of a paragraph in small capitals. (It's a line style nested inside a paragraph style). There is also a drop cap. I've applied to text and was happy, except that I did not like what looked like the end of the first line, when the word was a hyphen. So, I went back to the underlying and selected character style WITHOUT BREAKING. I have applied the new style and got some surprising results. See screenshot below. It worked - each front-line IS in small capitals and there are no hyphens in the first line, which is what I want. However, the drop cap has become corrupted in some places. I tried this style with cool text and got the same results. My question is: why this style causes corruption in the alphabet? "corruption," I mean that the text does not flow around the drop cap as expected.  Thank you.

  

  No break means that the text will not break. Never. If there is more text that fits on one line, the text is flowed up to the it finds a line long enough for all of this, which means generally that it disappears, since there is no such line in any block of text. Turn off hyphenation to make paragraph insert a conditional hyphen (command) - before the word you want not hyphen.

• Generation of reports in executable files

  By using LabVIEW 2012 SP1, I created a vi that opens an Excel file and puts a string of data (time stamp and a bit of data).  He travels once per second and adds the file very well on my laptop.  My problem is that when I create an executable file, the generation of reports does not work.  The loop works fine collects data, but Excel does not open.  Can someone tell me what's the trick?

  In the window that opens, you should be able to access your folder of Installation of LabVIEW to Excel class realized. An example of his path on my system for LabVIEW 2012 looks like this: (you will probably need to change this)

• Generation of reports on Linux

  LabVIEW 8.6 on Fedora 10.

  I'd be right in assuming that .doc and .xls format of the reports can not be generated under Linux (I can't find anything in the few documents that I read, but it would be logical to assume that)?

  LabVIEW support .odt formats and .ods does for the generation of reports (openoffice)?

  OpenOffice can read and write files .doc and .xls (imperfectly) most, however.

  Just to clarify, the GTA use the API ActiveX Office to generate the report, then it will not work on Linux in all cases (unless something like Mono can allow that sort of thing, but I guess it does not).

  I have a vague recollection that the HTML screws do not exist in reality (e.g. HTML appears in the list of options, but there is no screw actually generate the HTML pages). That said, I can be remembering incorrectly. The code is open source, it should be easy enough to look inside and see. If the screws of HTML code and are only ASCII, then probably you can copy the screw on the Linux machine and use them, although I don't know if that is allowed by the license.

  If your needs are minimal and you know the HTML language, you can probably write the code yourself, although it will take probably a few work.

  One idea would be to copy the data from the device file Utilization Summary in your report. See this KB for more information and an example of the layout of the file (which is quite complex, sorry) the path in the KB guess you LV FPGA 8.5, if you for example LV 2009 would be the path:

  NIFPGA2009\srvrTmp\localhost\\toplevel_gen_xst.log C:\.

  It must be remembered that this file only contains information on the latest compilation so you will only be able to get the info from this compilation, but that should be enough, if I understand your intent.
