Where to buy ADF Mobile Client Extension?

I could not find anywhere...

I use jdev 11.1.1.3.0

I tried to use my jdev-> check updates day-> official Oracle Extension & updates-> ADF Mobile Client - Developer Preview is not available in version 11.1.1.3.37.56.63

But it prompted me to the entrance of username and password... I've never managed to connected.

Can someone indicate the location of the url to download ADF Mobile Client?

Thank you

I see it in the updates, but you can download it here http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/101/update/center.xml#oracle.adfmc

    Let him. so the only possible option for me is to download it on my local drive and should be updated. I searched but could not find the appropriate link, so I have to post here. Kindly help me to find it please...

    Just to clarify, there are two types of mobile applications, we support:
    Web mobile apps are the ones that you create using the components of the Trinity, access you them from the browser on the mobile device. To use it, you don't have any extension for JDeveloper.
    If you want to get all of the features shown in the video that you are referencing you should get the latest * 11.1.2 JDeveloper - in the version you have 11.1.1.4 you will need to manually do steps (such as the creation of the skins file).
    Tutorials for 11.1.1. *-http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/ccset51-all-102005.html

    The other type of applications mobile, we will offer a solution soon is application that you build and install on the device itself.

    Hi, I just want to assure you - have you installed the ADF MObile Client extension yet? Visit JDev-Help-Check for updates official Oracle Extensions and updates and find the Extension of Oracle ADF MObile Client in the list. Check it out, download it and then restart JDev. It seems that the extension is not installed, is not able to load J2ME libraries.

    If you downloaded the extension already, please go to properties-libraries and classpath of the project and then see if the sample application makes reference to third party libraries, for example something RIM. If so, please check the path to the library.

    Once you have installed the extension, you can also access the customer Mobile ADF Developer's guide - it contains all the documentation around what you need to install first. Please take a look and see what you install - at the very least, you need to install BlackBerry JDE if you want to deploy for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile Emulator, if you want to test the application on Windows Mobile. Finally, if you need to synchronize the data, then you must also install Oracle Database Server Lite for MObile.

  • Jersey on ADF Mobile client

    Is it possible to use Jersey client to invoke a WS rest in ADF Mobile? I have included the jars of Jersey in the deployment, but it doesn't seem to work.

    Here is an example of the code:
    customer com.sun.jersey.api.client.Client = com.sun.jersey.api.client.Client.create ();
    WebResource webResource = client.resource ("http://server:7001/mycontext/maillot/mobile/getSomeRestData"); ")

    Hello.

    Jersey will not work in the current version of Mobile of the ADF. Must at least Java SE 6. CVM JDK (Java ME - CDC) deployed along your Mobile application of the ADF is Java 1.4. We have plans to put a more modern JVM stack in future versions.

  • No Extension for JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 ADF Mobile?

    Hello
    I have recently improved and jdev 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4.0 when checking for extension, can't find one for the ADF Mobile Client extension.
    But the tutorial at: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/jdev/obe11jdev/ps3/adf_mobile_top/adf_mobile/jdtut_11r2_54_1.html, says that she is available.
    Can someone please clarify if it is available for the 11.1.1.4.0 and if so, how to get it?
    If this is not the case, how to build projects adf mobile using this version? Or should I roll back 11.1.1.3 if I want to create mobile client applications? And guess which also apply to the browser mobile apps?

    Published by: HVT on March 2, 2011 02:55

    Hi, Hemant, both Android and iOS are both on the roadmap for ADF Mobile Client, with Android as the first target. iOS is much more difficult, and we take a multiphase approach to solve it.

    Windows Phone 7 is still under review - a direction of Nokia it give Windows Phone 7 a little more important now.

    There are currently no J2SE / provided for the "Windows" version - if there is strong demand for the approach on the laptop, please let us know. It seems that tablets (iPad, Android, BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, etc.) are taking more and more the mobile use case who traditionally filled by the laptop.

    We will also see if WebOS/Palm catches ever.

    Symbian is unlikely, given the Nokia seems to have indicated that it will with Windows Phone.

    It is also probable that we would target consumer/J2ME phones type at this point. It is not commonly used as enterprise mobile application devices, and also the trend seems to be that this smart phone will finally exceed the phones to consumers in terms of volume.

  • ADF mobile deployment for windows/blackberry-mobile option is disabled

    Hello
    We seek to deploy the sample FOD mobile application on a blackberry Simulator according to the tutorial given at:.
    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/jdev/obe11jdev/PS3/adf_mobile_top/adf_mobile/jdtut_11r2_54_1.html

    We had followed all the steps in part 2 and have been able to deploy the application on the BB Simulator and test also.

    After that, we followed the steps in part 3 and now when you try to deploy the mobile client application on the Simulator, the deployment for BB profile option is disabled and this is why we are not able to deploy the application.

    We Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with mobile client extension installed and also installed the Simulator and BB JDE.
    Can someone please help us get the deployment to BB profile option active again?

    PS: We also tried to install Jdev 11.1.1.4.0 with extension adf mobile on another machine with JDE BB and BB 9700 Simulator, but on this new machine, deployment profile is disabled from the beginning, we are not yet able to deploy the changes that we made to part 2 of this tutorial.

    Kind regards
    Hemant

    Hi, Hemant, just to be sure, have you tried the kickoff of deployment of the project MobileClient, or in the Application menu? Mobile client app must be deployed in the application menu.

    In addition, if you have already deployed, the deployment profile has been created, so you only have to deploy again in the application menu.

    If you see that these items are disabled in some way, then I don't think I've seen it before. Maybe we can set up a web conference to look at.

    Please just ping - me directly.

  • ADF Mobile 11.1.2.4.1 Patch?

    Hello

    The page of "Oracle JDeveloper and application development " framework (ADF) 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2.4.0)OTN (JDeveloper 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2.4.0) Known Issues & lt; / title & gt; & lt; meta name = & quot;) Title & quot; content = & quot; JDeveloper...)

    .. .talks on a Mobile ADF 11.1.2.4.1patch. Is this available for download? I can't find it anywhere.

    Thanks, Rich.

    Hi, the "patch" is probably confusing because you would actually replace the whole extension of ADF Mobile with a new version in the center of update of JDeveloper.  You should see a notification in JDeveloper updates are available, and the new ADF Mobile extension would be downloaded as part of this update.  If you are not sure, you can also manually select Help - updates - official Oracle updates and Extensions and you should see what ADF Mobile listed as an available update.  If you do not see the extension listed, it means in fact that the extension has been already updated.

    After updating, you can go to the Help menu - about - "Extensions" tab and scroll down to the entry of the ADF Mobile Framework extension. If you scroll to the right, you should see a list column 'Version '.  For the latest patch ADF Mobile version should be 11.1.2.4.39.64.44.

    In fact, you won't explicitly see 11.1.2.4.1 in JDeveloper - it is a version number used internally to track updates.

    Thank you

  • Impossible to write a topic in the forum of the ADF Mobile Preview

    What should be the reason?

    Because this forum was originally for ADF Mobile Preview, it now seems to have been closed.
    The "Overview" aspect is what you should note on the topics of the forum here.
    (Apparently, the software evolves beyond 'preview' stage).

    The forum seems to have been closed on 19 October 2012.

    There is a post announcing at the top of this forum...
    + 'Where to post ADF Mobile specific issues now?' +
    https://forums.Oracle.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=1872

    This announcement States:
    "If please take advantage of the ADF/JDeveloper Forum (https://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=83) and include ADF Mobile in the title."

    Then...
    Just use the normal forum and do not forget to register 'ADF Mobile' in the title of your ad.

    svarErRigtigt.setValue (AdfmfJavaUtilities.getAdfELContext (), "New thing happening");

    Timer.Cancel ();

    }

    }

    }

    So when I push the button and then "pushed" shows on the screen, but the "new thing happening" message does not display after 3 seconds as expected. Can someone explain why this is and how to fix the code so that it works (I tested the run method is called after 3 seconds when trying to include a statement System.exit (0)). Thank you

    AdfmfJavaUtilities.flushDataChangeEvent () is mentioned here:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E37975_01/doc.111240/e24475/amxbinding.htm#ADFMF1615

    Provider and property change listeners are discussed in Chapter 8 of the guide:

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E37975_01/doc.111240/e24475/amxbinding.htm#CHDHFGAF

    He thinks the reason why overview AMX works currently in Linux is that it uses JavaFX under the hood and there are problems with the implementation on this platform. I checked an internal construction of the next version of the extension, which runs on top of JDeveloper 12 c. The AMX preview worked properly on my Oracle Linux 6.4 VM. Of course, it is not an official statement by Oracle and our plans can change at any time.

  • ADF Mobile | using secure web services

    Hi all

    I'm pretty new to ADF Mobile, I use JDev 11.1.2.4.

    In my Mobile application I want to use the secure web service.

    Here's what I do:

    1. creation of a data control based on the WSDL binding.

    2. get the web service methods in the data control.

    3. during the race, I'm getting that error "oracle.j2ee.ws.client.jaxws.JRFSOAPFaultException: Client from server SOAP fault: Missing < wsse: Security > in the SOAP header.

    When trying to run the WSDL binding in SOAP UI, I need set request username and passwordproperties, then only I will be able to invoke this web service.

    Here, my question is where can I set these properties for the data control to the web service ?

    Please suggest.

    Thank you

    Hi Shay,

    Thank you very much for the reply, I'm able to resolve the problem with the approach mentioned user guide.

    I forgot to set it up for the first time: ADF Mobile allows you to specify a custom provider class in your DataControls.dcx file. This custom class extends oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SOAPProvider . You can use it to specify an implementation of the SoapHeader[] getAdditionalSoapHeaders() method

    Example 9-1 shows how to extend the SOAPProvider and create a custom header has shown in example 9-2

    package provider.ebs.soap;

    Import oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SOAPProvider;

    Import oracle.adfinternal.model.adapter.webservice.provider.soap.SoapHeader;

    SerializableAttribute public class EBSSOAPProvider extends SOAPProvider {}

  • ADF Mobile access protected web service with the user name and password

    With Jdev 11.1.2.4 (with the extension of the ADF Mobile) I am creating a data control that uses a SOAP web service. The web service is not protected by a policy of wss, but its point of endpoint URL is only protected by simple HTTP authentication (internal weblogic server is not accessible public.) We use an Apache server that is configured with a location that is a simple proxypass on url of the web service endpoint weblogic. This apache location apply simple HTTP authorization). I can invoke successfully the methods with parser HTTP by simply adding to the request HTTP header "authorization: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx base =" (where xxx = user name and encrypted password).

    In the mobile application of ADF, I used the DataControls.dcx-> window to connect to the Web Service change and provided the username and password to the URL of the endpoint. The problem is that after the deployment and execution of this application on the emulator (or the device itself), I get no data by the web service since with the HTTP 401 error http server responses. It seems that that the credentials are not deployed to the device, so while the application is running can not find them.

    I searched a lot and found a similar article (quite old) in the RTO by Frank Nimphius here access_protected_web_services_from_adf.htm

    Is there a way to do this, or if I'm missing the entire image?

    Thank you very much.

  • ADF Mobile Apple rejection (terminateWithStatus)

    Hi ADF Mobile community,

    We receive a rejection of Apple for an application that was written with Jdeveloper 11.1.2.4 (it is listed below). Can someone shed some light on how to find and fix the problem?

    In addition, one or more of the above API may reside in a static library attached to your application. If you do not have access to the source of the library, you can search for the binary compiled using 'channels' or 'otool' command line tools. The tool 'strings' can produce a list methods that appeals to the library and the ' otool - ov "will result in Objective-C class structures and their methods defined. These techniques can help you to refine where the problematic code.

    We appreciate that you might have made precautions in your code to use the non-public APIs, however, there is no way of correctly or completely predict how an API may be changed and what effects these changes can have. For this reason, we do not allow the use of non-public API in applications from the App Store.

    Hi, Asa, even if we have solved this outside of this thread, I would formally respond to this topic to close the discussion.

    The version the most recent update of the ADF Mobile extension solved that problem.  There should be an update to the extension of the ADF Mobile in the center of update of JDeveloper.  To get the update, go to the JDeveloper - Help - Check For Updates menu item - official Oracle Extensions and updates, and you should see an extension of the ADF Mobile 11.1.2.4.39.64.44.  You will need to download the extension, restart JDev, and then go to the Build menu item - clean to clean the ancient artifacts of deployment.  You can re - deploy the application.  No changes in the application are necessary - change is in the runtime only, and you can resubmit the application to the AppStore.

    After you apply this hotfix, there are several known approvals of applications for ADF based Mobile that has verified the fix.

    Thank you
