Which component creates by default profile and order objects?

Hi all

As we know that whenever we visit the shopping page online, a default profile object and the Order object are created. Can you please tell me what component creates these objects?

These objects even though the home page is a static page?

Creation of ATG profile:

Only the profile will be created whenever we visit any page in Application of ATG.

ProfileCreation enters the servlet pipeline "ProfileRequestServlet", so for any request if the profile does not exist, it will create the profile.

But it is also possible to avoid the creation of profile by registering only not in the servlet pipeline string. Execution of the servlet pipeline coming with the help of pagefilter for jsp.

So using the page filter you can avoid him. IE not let all the jsps through PageFilter.

Page filters are defined in the web.xml file.

PageFilter

atg.filter.dspjsp.PageFilter

PageFilter

*.jsp

Order of creation in the ATG

There may be several points of outbreak of the order is first created.

  • When we add point to order using OOTB form of management methods, if the order is not output, ATG will create an order object and add this item in the agenda.
  • At any time, if one refers to the ShoppingCart component, if there is no order, ATG will create an order.

Kind regards

Nitin.

All IT gurus out there who know Firefox... have lost the passwords saved when FF created a new profile and delete old files key3.dbf and logins.json profile. Any ideas, anyone?

    So it's not a logins.json file?

I see a signons3.txt file and a file signons.sqlite older, if you can try to see if you can import passwords stored in this file.

You can force Firefox to re-import the passwords in the file signons.sqlite and regenerate the file logins.json with the following steps:

    • reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
    • Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder

When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true.
You have passwords that are imported in the password manager, unless there were errors or signons.sqlite signons3.txt.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

I found some help on older versions of Firefox, but I can't seem to find anything for the latest versions greater than 8. There must be a way to do this for imaging large scale.

Have you created a defaults\profile in the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\)?

All files in this folder will be moved into each newly created profile folder.

To give the prefs a default, it is best to do this via a mozilla.cfg file.

Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify default values.

Place a local file - settings.js in the defaults\pref folder where you will also find the channel - prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg file.

    pref("general.config.filename", "mozilla.cfg");
    pref("general.config.obscure_value", 0); // use this to disable the byte-shift

    See:

You can use these functions in mozilla.cfg:

defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes in current session
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

Hello! You can copy your old information in your profile again (and since you had two old profiles to be restored, you can also create a new another profile for the second). It's all about copy - paste between folders, more information here: recovery of data from an old profile.

  • I created a new profile and copied the files from my old computer inside firefox. How do the new profile, just delete the old one?

I am running windows 7, I had to recover my files on an external hard drive when my old computer crashed. I created a new profile as described in the Web site of firefox and copied all the files into it. I just need to know how to use the new profile when I open firefox, just delete the old profile? Or do I have to reinstall firefox.

If you no longer have need or intention to use this older profile, then you can use the Profile Manager to delete this profile and delete the files.

  • removal of several default profiles and backup.

There are 5 profiles in the my profile folder and all are checked by default. They range in size from 12 to 52 MB. On last 5 start-ups, it seems that the usage profile is the second of the 5 with a 52.3 mb size (found through help/troubleshooting/show folder). However when I do a backup using MozBackup this back to the top is 12.1 mb in size the size of the profile 1st in the list of profiles. Can I safely delete profiles 1/3/4 and 5, leaving only one which would in turn make the proper backup?

Yes, if you are sure that you no longer need data stored in it, then you can delete the files.

You can check the dates of the files to see when they were used the last time.

  • I just edit the default profile and no longer see IMAOP files even if they are in the profile. How can I access these

    Hello

I add to change the settings of an account email (server name has changed) and mail flows always to and from the account. But all mail in the IMAP folder is no longer displayed in Thunderbird just mail that came in since the change. How to restore access to the IMAP folder, the account always uses the IMAP protocol.

    Nigel

With IMAP, all mail is handled on the server. Therefore, you must not modify the server to an existing account.
Restore the original server setting. Then create a new IMAP account for the new server.

  • Firefox stop working and I can't even open the profile page to create another profile and start the migration to a new profile, what to do now?

I can't get firefox to respond - even to open. I tried the suggestion of support for the creation of a new profile, but the instructions are not working anymore so I can't create a new profile and test the system. At a stand still...

BTW - since I have to use IE even access this info I can't find the troubleshooting information below. It gets ridiculously more complicated that I never wanted him.

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox and won't lose bookmarks and history. Please follow these steps:

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

  • After the last update (today), Firefox crashes constantly. How can I uninstall this last update? I tried to create new profiles and they also crash.

Firefox worked earlier today (August 19, 2013 6:30 pm EDT). When I opened Firefix after it IS 9, Firefox has attempted to perform an update. No error was given, but now Firefox does not start. Run a Windows 8 machine with all the updates and current security with no malware known on my system software.

When I try to start Firefox, the system shows the circle of"work", but then nothing. I created a new profile and got Firefox to start, but whenever I try to go to a website, Firefox crashes.

The last 2 reports of incidents of today:
    InstallTime20130814063812 (content: 1376962029)
    LastCrash (content: 1376969373)

Firefox IS working with Windows 8 in Mode safe (I got a message saying Firefox had not been closed properly) with a new profile. If I used an existing profile, Firefox would start and then close when I went to ANY website or any just not start. I shouldn't be no CRASH REPORT has been generated, just a code updated in the LASTCRASH file.

I have created a new profile, turned off all plugins, redonfigured my security suite of network to start automatically and restarted normally. When Windows came, I launched Firefox with the new profile, went to a few sites only to confirm it worked and then activated the security suite. No problems. I then reactivated some of my plug-ins. I had problems again when all the following plugins have been re-activated:

        -- Java Development Toolkit 7.0.250.16 10.25.2.16
        -- RealDownloader Plugin 16.0.2.32
        -- RealNetworks RealDownloader 1.3.2.28
        -- Shockwave for Director

With these off and the new profile, FIrefox is now working normally. Thank you!

    • Whenever I restart my computer, Firefox forgets that my profile is on my D drive. I get a warning "cannot load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible.
    • Firefox.exe Pei learns that Firefox created a (inactive) profile called "default".
    • Create a new profile and that points to the profile on my D drive folder solves the problem until the next reboot.

  • problems after upgrading firefox. reset this is ugly. created the new profile, but can not recover data from old profile.

I use firefox on a MacBook pro. Mac OS X version 10.7.5. There was an update of firefox on a day or 2 ago. Since this was done, I was getting 'syntax error' 5 times, each time that a page has been loaded. Some research has suggested that an application or a plug-in called "social fixer" might be the problem but I could not understand how to get rid of it so decided to try to reset Firefox. Minutes passed and a message was on the screen saying the old files of firefox have been been "cleaned" or something, but it seems to be 'stuck' because the progress bar was little jerky. Doesn't it usually doesn't. So I clicked on "Cancel". After that, I couldn't even firefox to start. Looks like my profile is unavailable or inaccessible. Following the instructions found on the support site, I created a new profile and I thought I copied the files from the previous firefox on the new profile, but when I run firefox, it's a blank slate. None of my bookmarks or passwords are there. It must be here somewhere, but I can't seem to understand.

Looks like there was a problem with updating the profiles.ini file.

You can try to remove the current profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile where Firefox has not done that.
You can check if there is a profile folder with a number of attached time stamp and in this case, you can set the location of a profile created in this folder.

  • How to customize the default profile Win7

    Hello

I was hoping someone could help me; I'm trying to customize my Windows 7 default profile.  The way I used to do in the past with WinXP was to:

    1. Create a local user account that have no administrator rights
    2. With this local user logon and tweak the desktop and applications like I wanted
    3. Reboot and a map than the machines of local disk to another computer
    4. Make a copy of the original default profile and name it "Profile by default (Original)"
    5. Copy the contents of the local user profile account I logged in earlier and paste it into the default user profile

It worked like a charm and all connected users subsequently received the twisted user profile that I created.  With Windows 7, I use a lot of permission issues (even if I am logged in as a domain administrator or a Local administrator).  Also, I have granted local administrator rights 'Owner' on the default profile and it is still impossible to copy.  Unfortunately, I do not have a specific error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated that makes me crazy.  It's something that I used to be able to do so simply with XP.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob
