Which lens

I'm the RFP for Chasing Classic Cars on the speed. I've been shooting with my F5 for 2 months now and need some advice on what lens to buy. I used the Fuji 19 Cabrio, which is not wide enough. I am currently using my Canon EF lenses and a Tokino 12-24 with a box of MTF. This works, but is very clumsy to use in the run and shooting firearms. So, it came down to the Canon of 15.5 to 47 or Angenieux 16-42 Optmo DP with the adapter wide angle. Rumor has it that this goal will be * ed with a zoom rocker soon... rumor. All the advice of the current users of these lenses?

The lenses are in the same general category, so I don't think you'll see a big difference in IQ between the two outside test charts and pixel peeping.  It is a popular question, so that you can read all kinds of opinions on it if you do a search for it, but the main thing is this consensus: the 18-55, when coupled with the 55-250, gives a little better IQ (and will of course).  The 18-135 gives a good amount of range in a single case.  If the choice comes down to a slight advantage of IQ, or the convenience of a single lens that can be great for travel or street photography.

If you do not plan on getting a longer telephoto lens to accompany him then I would get the 18-135 for the extra reach.

A009E profile of lenses is defective. Using the A009N profile is not question of vignette. Assuming your goal, this is the VC model try to select the profile A009N. Then go to Setup and select ' save the new default profile lens. Don't know how you can determine which lens model you actually. See if it is engraved somewhere on the lens or the serial number.

  • Y at - it a lens which corresponds to Iphone 6 + with case and screen shield attached?

Does anyone know of a lens wide angle for Iphone 6 + which allows that you keep the protector case and Iphone screen still in place? Most of those I've seen State the case and the shield cannot be still attached.

    Thank you

As each case and screen protector can be a size and a different shape, I doubt there will be an iPhone lens that could correspond with them on.

  • Since the update of LR6.5 my lens data no longer appear. I always get the actual focal length, but the name of the lens stopped to appear, which for me is a nuisance!

Is this likely to be fixed anytime soon?

    Hi Peter,.

Please see the objective metadata hidden for some photos in Lightroom 2015.5 and 6.5 devices

    Kind regards

  • I just bought lightroom and downloaded and in the Mode of development, I am unable to find the "Basic" tab All shows (in the order in which they appear on my screen) are histogram, curve tones, STL/color/BW, Split Toning, detail, Lens Correction, effects,

My Basic tab disappeared... clues on where I can find it. I have a horrible feeling I have pressed a "Hide" button by mistake and can not find how to cancel it

Right click on one of the tabs that are visible and select "basic" in the menu that appears, Mohammed.

  • The "green dot" lens flare in the iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 more

I wrote on 'green point' lens flare issues I have with my iPhone 6 Plus. See Green dots in the iPhone 6 more photos - it's something that can be fixed? photos, for example.

I was hoping that this problem has been resolved with the new iPhones, two years later. But as I see in this review of the iPhone 7 - http://www.techconnect.com/article/3122614/iphone-ipad/iphone-7-review.html?utm _ source = Sailthru & utm_medium = email & utm_cam... - if you look at the car first two photos, the author shows 'green point' stray light is present in the iPhone and iPhone 6s 7 photos.

So I'm disappointed to see that this problem has not disappeared.

Does anyone know if this is also the same with the iPhone 7 Plus, which has two glasses?

Just wondering if any iPhone 7 more users have been able to test this.

Before the upgrade, I would like to know if the "green point" lens flare problem that exists with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, 6s iPhone more and apparently also with the iPhone 7 also happens with the iPhone 7 more.

It has a system of different lenses, so I'm curious to know if this problem persists or not.

  • FS7K lens Image stabilization

Received my KIt FS7K Thursday here in the United Kingdom.

First of all, let me give you a profile of use of the previous video Sony:

Currently I still own both the Sony HVR - Z5 (using Atomos) and Sony HXR - NX5 - my market spent was of videos on the site. Have all two large x 20 G lenses with IS excellent for the operation at hand. What residual movement at hand could often be stabilized using Adobe 5.5 and 2014 CC AE Stabilsing - no probem. I'm a fan of the 'pocket' more of 20 years, dating back to the early days of broadcasting in English

What I see in my test of the FS7K shots is much more "shake". In fact I would say the lens SELP28135G gives me NO stabilization even if I chose the option "camera > Steadyshot > Steadyshot.» "Steadyshot Active" option which, in my experience in previous products, is 'more aggressive' is not selectable.

I can confirm that the 'Otptical Steady Shot' switch on the lens all is market' '.

Formats and codecs I test: HD 1920 x 1080 50 p and 50i as my previous experiences - not yet disappeared to test the 4K again.

What gives? We expect the firmware updates?

The Steadyshot indicator in the viewfinder, not necessarily told you the truth! This is why you must turn it on whenever you turn on. It is my understanding that this issue will be resolved in a next update.

The asset IS is not compatible with the objective of stock but is compatible with some other Sony lens. Talk to your Sony representative to find out which ones who.

    See you soon,.

  • Lens options for shooting of Doco on the F55

    Hi all

I have a 55 on order, I'll be partly rented through a rental home, here in London and in part from my own shooting. I don't plan on buying prime numbers-people rent out will have the advantage of the Cookes and the rental company Zeiss - but I am wanting an option to zoom for my shooting corporate and factual.

I know that the 18-252, that Sony is still there, but it's my only option in the price range? He has an amazing range but obviously not very quickly, and I can't imagine this lens has been con¸u for 4K shot.

I considered the Canon EF series L lenses via an adapter of MTF Services, but I'm afraid that I'm sacrificing convenient useablity (and maybe image quality?) here. Same thing with older Nikon lenses that I have. That said, I use on the C300 and appreciated EF lenses.

I'm really curious to know what other operators plan to use for more work doco and factual, because I'm pretty unsure which way to go at the moment.

    Thank you

    Jamie

  • Computer model of lens distortion

    Hi all

When you calibrate the image on NI Vision Builder, I would like to ask what is the use of a "model of computing lens distortion. What is this for? It is an option that is ignored when measures are taken to the image, for example, of a component.  What happens when you turn it on or check it?

    Thank you

based on what you have installed for ccd for imaging your lens have certain Optical Aberrations there are 6 type of such Aberrations you learn more on this subject

it is one of the Aberrations is distortion in this case data in the area of the distorted image and are not true because of the defeat of optical lens

If you use this image for example distance measure will be impossible to get real data and first of all, he must correct the image

for image correction you use grid with the same size and distance, and ofter there is formula polynomial with coefficients k1, k2, k3 solve this problem

also a few famous lenses have their own k1 k2 and k3 calculate the coefficients which was by the company producing them you can use them to make

For more information about this, you can check the photoshop tools

  • which one to buy, a55 or a65?

these cameras are the only ones that I can afford, and since im new to this type of cameras any help or suggestion or whatever it is will be appreciated...

    Now what I need is:

Click here: I mean I want the one with the soft click so I don't have to press hard take the picture (and therefore it will not be as shakey or something when I press)

Extreme for landscape, Portrait, close-up, people (or these will vary on the lens?) (if you know what I mean by the "extreme")

and can someone explain to me or at least a summary version of which is f / x and mm because I do not really understand their but based on me, more the highest number?

Finally, if you were me, what would you get a55 or a65?

I didn't know the A55 was yet available his almost three years now and has been replaced by the A57 & more recently, the A58 motorway, then I'd go with the A65.

The shutter does not have a lot of pressure to activate, and the camera has built in stabilization to help traffic.

I'm not sure what you mean by "extreme" and Yes, the type of photography you want to do depends on the type of lens used as and yet there is not all available objective.

Lets start with MM it means just a used special lens zoom range so a 10-24mm zoom Zen is considered a wide angle because you can adapt many of the subject in a shot that would be good for a landscape vs. a 200-500mm zoom which allows you closer to your subject with to actually do near them It's a good goal for pictures of wild life.

F stop refers to the size of the opening, the opening is the opening in a lens which controls the amount of light is the sensor of the camera lowest number as F1.8 is a very large opening to let a lot of light in vs a F22 which is a very small opening and leaves not a lot of light in. The advantage of a large opening is a good fast shutter for fast moving subjects, but having the largest opening is very expensive usaully. The F stop also controls the depth of field. the link will explain that one.

  • Canon Zoom lens

    Hello world

    wish you all agreat day,

After the Suggestions in this forum for my camera so my first goal... Thanks guys I bougth the Canon 6 d and bought the Canon 17-40 photos of couple in my first Attcched lens...

Now I'm looking for a zoom lens, any suggestions? with good quality / mony? Honestly I do not put a budget for it still don't intend to but something so dear, my favorate style is architecture & urban landscape, but some times I may need a zoom so out for some shots my need more than what I have now (canon 17-40).

Thanks for the passage & thank you for the support.

    Concerning

But what would you use for?  That tells you what focal length to get.

You already have the range of 17 to 40 covered. Which can be used for your walk around lens that it stops a little short for this to 40 mm. I use a 35mm Prime than my walk around and I Zoom with my feet so I think you can also.

For a standard telephoto lens that is the EF 70-200mm L f/2.8 IS Mk 2.  In the United States, he sells between $1 800.00 and $300.00 2.  It's a fantastic lens. Sharp. Many colors. Ideal in low light. Great bokeh. And the focal range is very usable on a full camera frame. Not often is too long to be useful.

If you need a longer telephoto let us know and people can suggest lenses longer but the good ones cost dear and you can also lose the opening f/2.8 nice if you get a telephoto lens more long. Unless you really spend a lot on a 300 mm f/2.8 or 400 mm.

  • What should I buy objective 17-40 or the 24-105 Lens Kit?

    Hello again,

And after the great success of the support team here and advise.

I'll buy the Canon 6 d this weekend...

I thought based on my Style (architecture, landscapes, night photography) photography (attached sample of my work)

to buy the only 6 d body + canon 17-40 F4 as affordable for wide angle type, but i got to know that this cam lens without image stabilizer, which really confused me and return to think again buy the camera with its objective of kit (24-105) as it comes with stabilizer more range and image ,

So the question, is image stablizer is a must? who advises you to go with?

Thanks in advance for anything that can advise you in this decision.

I got a camera from Canon 650 EOS 35 mm with lens (70-210 mm EF 35-70mm EF, EF 50mm) and Canon Speedlite 420EZ. I begin to use them to take pictures. I hope I can find a digito camera that will work with the device I already have. It was my father, and I want to use for the memories. I don't know much about photography (which I'll do it prbably take a class or two). If someone could give me help on what I could use to keep the lens I know 35mm body isn't worth much, but the memories. Can I use these lenses with a digital camera. I'm not rich and would like to buy something around 250 Beach (used or not)

Thanks for your help in advance

    Garth

EF lenses will be monte on any modern interchangeable digital Canon camera except for the lower mirror that a person never see in stores.

For your budget, you are a rebel used camera body. Search for a used T4i or a T3i. There is virtually no difference between the two; same, even autofocus sensor, etc. It will be a good camera to get into photography with.
