Which of the 3 Shockwave on this computer I'm supposed to be activated?

Shockwave Flash 13.0.0.214, Shockwave for Director 12.1.0.150 and Shockwave for Director 12.0.9.149 are all installed and enabled on my computer. Firefox is so slow and I wonder if all these plugins activated with is the problem. I have changed several times the option "always enable" "never activate" on the Shockwave for version Director 12.0.9.149 but when I do, then leave and come back, I find that the Shockwave for Director 12.1.0.150 has been changed to "never turn" also, or, I find that the Shockwave for Director 12.0.9.149 has been changed to "always enable". My computer knowledge is very limited, so I'm reluctant to make changes without direction. I tried other options of troubleshooting for slow, but nothing is resolved the problem. I'd appreciate any help that you provide.

Two different programs with separate plugins for Firefox / Netscape browsers type. (IE needs a kind different plugin)

Shockwave Flash 13.0.0.214

Two plugins for the same program / plugin
Shockwave for Director 12.1.0.150
Shockwave for Director 12.0.9.149

Shockwave for Director is rarely used nowadays. My advice is to uninstall completely and if you find that you need, re-install the latest version - only.

    Hi all:

I was working normally with my NI9024 CRIO to my work. I went home and when I came back the other day. I tried to compile my application to work.

The surprise was that I got a strange message "access denied: the IP address of this computer host is not on the list of eligible access of the target."  Now, I can not connect a CRIO device. I tried to reset all the IP addresses in the CRIO and my PC computer. What can I do?.

Yes. This is the solution. I had to uninstall the NOR-RIO software on the target. I have uninstall everything on the CRIO. Then I reinstall the software, but I had also to program the fpga, the host and target. And I also have my IP, on the measure and automatition software. I found a big bug I guess.

Thanks anyway. National Instrument of love. Hope to work there one day.

Note: the manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

Usually, just by pressing F11 continuously during the computer startup to display a boot menu offering the option you need.

You may need to contact the manufacturer of your hardware (Dell) to see what options they have to repair Windows.

  • system says I'm not an administrator, but I'm the only person on this computer.

I use spy-bot and Norton programs to try to improve performance, and when there are questions, he says I can't recover/remove, change or change because I'm not an administrator. I'm the only person on this computer so what's the deal?

SpyBot is not as good as it once was and has been superceeded by other free utilities. Using the module TeaTimer is not recommended

Niether Norton or SpyBot will improve performance, in fact, they are more likely to slow down the system especially if they are both installed on demand / scan in real time

  • I recently bought a vista computer to an office auction. The problem is that this computer is password protect, I do not know the password. Is there a way I can fix this?

I'm not computer. Is there a simple way, I can solve this problem?

    Hello

Microsoft prohibits any help given in these forums to bypass or 'crack' the lost or forgotten passwords.

Tips from Microsoft is to reinstall the operating system.

If no disk not supplied with the computer, contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of Vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system.

Normally, they do this for a small fee.

Also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive that you can use to reinstall Vista.

With many brands of computer, you have to press F10, F11, etc at startup to start this process.

Ask them the exact key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key determines which Edition is installed.

Builders recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    See you soon.

  • My laptop always tells me that I am user of 'limited' and I need to log in as an administrator. I am the only user of this computer at home, and I can't find out how this action.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

If you had only one user account, it originally was an administrator, and he has now suddenly become Standard see methods below. After return you to the system scan for malware because these things happen not magically by themselves. You will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account and make your changes. See the end of this post for the recommended user configuration.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

1 boot without failure. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the menu on the right where you can use your arrow key to select Mode safe [Enter]. The built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in Vista. However, if no other administrative accounts exist on the system it can be activated. If this is the case, you will see an icon for the administrator on the homescreen mode without failure. Login to the administrator.

2 If you don't see the icon for the administrator mode safe account, then the built-in Administrator account is always disabled so you will need to work more. If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair Vista (not a system recovery!) system in the diagnostic menu. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode.  Or you can do a repair file Vista bootable DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need the third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com ) to burn the .iso image image file, not in the form of data.

Now remove the rescue CD/DVD, you have done, reboot Windows and log on to the built-in Administrator account, you enabled.

After getting things sorted, login to a different administrative account (see recommendations below) and disable the administrator built-in again for security reasons.

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

Thanks for posting your question on the forum.

Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) is only in the editions Windows 8 Pro and Enterprise in Windows 8.
See the comparative table listed here on the blog of Windows 8. Please see the Note at the bottom of the article that Windows 8 Enterprise is not listed as you can get this version of Volume License.

  • When you select a contact in your contacts list which does not use an iPhone, are the menu options for this contact that is supposed to display text green or blue?

Hi there, this is not necessarily a problem, but I was wondering if you could awnswer this. I recently adding some new contacts to my contact list, who are both using android phones is said by the way and noticed that options for these contacts, such as: Send Message, share contact, add to Favorites, block this caller, as well as the options of call and text, are all displayed in blue text. I could have sworn at a certain point my contact options were displayed in green text for users of android and blue text only if this contact was using an iPhone. So I looked through my contacts, I needed to update some of my contacts anyway information and discovered that even the options of contact for non-iPhone users were posted in a blue text. I know that iMessage is always displayed in blue, and that regular messages always appear green, it is always the case when I text someone. I know that's really not a big deal, but still when I really could have sworn that the colors are different depending on whether my contacts using iPhones or not. Don't know if a blue font for the selection of these options would have is part of an update or not, or if it was always supposed to be the appearance of these options. If you could tell me what colors your iPhones display when you select a contact from your contact list, and if this would be something that would be possible to change if these colors are supposed to differ, it would be highly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this, once again, I know this is really not very problematic, but I am always curious about it. Thanks to a bouquet.

This text is blue, no matter that the person has an iPhone, Android phone, landline phone or not phone. Contacts don't 'knows' what kind of phone is connected to the number.
