Which schema/user is a connected person slot within the Apex?

Greetings,

I have an application with built in authentication of the function table. When a person logs in their username and password is simply compared to the values of a user table to determine if they can use the application. The authentication table is in the same schema as the application.

The Apex application is in a schema called DLR_INV. All the tables used by the application, but one is in that same pattern. The table in another schema is used to retrieve the status codes for a LOV.

The user receives an error when the page opens, the error is on the State LOV. My DBA and another Oracle developer to determine what the problem is. Is there a synonym above the state table which should provide access. The DBA can connect through SQL Developer as DLR_INV and access the status table.

What could be the problem?

One question - given the way the authentication of the application is set up - when a person signs this schema/user are they connected as?

I don't see the privilege to 'select' on XX_BMC_DLRINV.MS_US_STATES? Your APEX application schema needs grants 'live' on the objects he needs to access. Privileges gained through roles will not be recognized.

  • Connection of LAN to the apex of debugging

    I am new to apex, almost zero networking skills
    I use XP Home Edition (IP:192.168.1.5)
    I installed the XE and improved apex to 3.1.2
    Everything works fine on the spot

    From another PC on my home network I can not connect via a browser with variations on "http://192.168.1.5:8080 / apex.
    At first I only ping 192.168.1.5 but still could not see in my workgroup network
    I use Avast free Antivirus and I have also disabled the Windows Firewall
    When I "Paused" Avast I was able to 'see' my apex pc in my network working group (better)
    But I still can't get to the apex.
    I used a diagnostic tool (nmap) against 192.168.1.5 but found no port 8080 open or headphones on the machine other than the TNS listener apex.
    I don't know what I should look for.
    Is there a service I should look? a configuration that I need to set or change? I am looking for a strategy of debugging to prove all the elements on my host machine are in order and then try to work from the level the lower forward from a remote machine (ping, nmap, etc.) until I can find the culprit.

    Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

    There are a few things you can do to make sure that you are safe.

    #1. Make sure that your wireless modem is protected using a personal code to access WEP or WPA2. This is done by going to the configuration of your modem and the establishment under the wireless tab / link / article. Of the modem user manual must be able to guide them in this process.

    #2. The other way is to disable the broadcasting network option in the modem. The only problem with this option, it is only people who are currently using the network can get on again.

    I recommend establishing a password on your wireless network and in this way people can see your broadcast network, but they will not be able to get on it, unless they have the password.

    Thank you very much for your help.  I did as you suggested.  First: the Safety Scanner did not find a malware, etc. on my computer, which is really good.

    Second - accounts - outside myself - on my computer. I was surprised to see there was a guest account as well as mine.  I now extinct 'guest account '.  I can think about is my daughter and her husband who make us visit once a year.  April, my daughter knows a lot about computers, so I think that it is the culprit!

    General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

    You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

    In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default.
