White balance - Plug in for adjustment

I forgot to set on my camera white balance prior to registration.  I remember coming across an AE plugin effect that's going to set/adjust the white balance, but I don't remember that one is.

Thank you

CS4

The button "Auto color" Color Finesse (provided with AE) will correct the white balance errors.

The correction is based on the frame in progress, in order to choose an 'average' setting of white balance to.

Scroll the camera Calibration Panel. Choose process: 2012 for the image. The reason why you do not see the sliders, it is that the image is currently using an older process, an earlier version of Lightroom.

  • Bridge CS5 applies wrong white balance during extraction of thumbnails (only for raw files)

Hello to all the assistants of Adobe,

Photographer welder here. I use a Canon T2i and I've been shooting raw with automatic white balance.

After I downloaded the CR2 files to the bridge, bridge starts thumbnail extraction. It is then that the problem begins: I watch bridge thumbnail extraction photo after photo, turning them into white balance bad one by one. After the bridge is done, I open one of these photos in Camera Raw, it shows the picture in the "custom white balance". I could go back to "As Shot". But now, each Bridge photo has custom white balance and is difficult to bridge. This screenshot shows what looks like my bridge after thumbnail extraction...Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.25.07 PM.png

Yesterday, just out of curiosity, I took a few photos with the settings of the different on the camera white balance. I downloaded their bridge and bridge too wrote all the white balance settings. Then I imported the same pictures (from the same files) to iPhoto, they appear with writing correct balance. Please see the second screenshot.Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.05.38 PM.png

The third screenshot shows a unique photo that I opened the bridge to Camera Raw and the same photo, as it appears in iPhoto, the original two.

    Screen shot 2011-04-22 at 12.16.09 PM.png

Again, this only happens to CR2 files. All TIF, jpeg files are fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Any ideas?

First of all, taken of view Raw has the advantage of the evolution of the color temperature (balance of Pentecost) to what ever you like everything you shot in camera.

It seems once you have registered a custom default setting white balance and it is applied to each new file because you said bridge to do. The best way out of this is to open a raw file in ACR and the basic right tab you see a small icon (next to the base word) submenu. Click on it and the line select "Reset Camera Raw defaults" downstairs.

Also decide if you want to stay in 16-bit mode (you're now as shown in the blue line under the preview). If you want the chance it to 8 bits, just click on this blue line and choose your options in this menu. Just do it once for that same camera files, ACR remembers the settings for you.

Using 16-bit mode has advantages when the color corrections using critical (but you should also replace the ProPhoto color mode in my opinion). The downside is that the 16 bit doubles compared to 8-bit file size

Having put default ACR should immediately make your thumbs by building of new inches and previews, but if not, you must choose purge the cache for the file from the menu Tools / cache / purge the cache for the file. Now the new settings will apply.

It may take a while so let bridge do its job properly before starting other jobs in bridge (see the activity bar downstairs left to check if the bridge is still cached).

  • white balance and other options change

Hi, I've been away from taking pictures for awhile (focusing on FCP - X & videos). I've noticed recently that Apple has moved things from iPhoto to Photos. Whatever... My biggest concern is how I color balance and make the picture white balance? I've lived everywhere I thought it would be, but not luck. Can someone advise me on how to make these pictures? If this isn't the case, I can do them in iPhoto and continue to use it, or I don't expect too much from Apple?

I bought this recorder in December 2008. I tested some records inside, outside and I found, that White Balancing does not work.
I can put it in automatic or manual, but all videos are little pink. Is this a firmware problem or is it a bad piece? Where can I get the new firmware?

    Thanks for the reply

    Hello Bunak

Toshiba has released the new update and you can find it on Toshiba support and download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads
On the drivers download page please choose the criteria for follow-up:

    Product type options
    Family digital Imagin
    Range of digital video cameras
    Camileo H10 model
    OS operating system practice
    Type of driver Firmware update

So here you can find the update to Firmware version 1.1. Last modification date is 12/02/08.

In order to provide the best quality, update Firmware for Camileo H10 results with feature upgrade as follows him.

    2. set the focus window (improve the AF)
3 tune AE to avoid exposure
4 tune matrix color and saturation (performance of color)
    5. set the noise filter (improve the noise level)
    6. grant WB (improve the AWB)
7 change the string from the user interface in CZ

Here the steps how to upgrade the F/W (Firmware):

First of all, there are two different language version of the UI (User Interface) of the EU & UK and EEMEA version. Please select the appropriate according to your language file instead.

-EU & UK F/W version 1.1 include: English, Deutsch, Español, Português, Italiano and French, Dutch
-EAST F/W version 1.1 include: English, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Slovak

    * Files of F/W 1.Copy to an SD card *.
-Format SD card. Make sure that the FAT file system is selected before formatting.
-Copy the F/W (zburnT_C10.run.elf and DCIM folder) files in the root directory of the SD card
(PS: there is another folder and file in the DCIM folder, please, do not change the content of this)

    * 2. Firmware Update (Please make sure of course he didn't is no battery inside the unit and the power adapter is not connected to the camera) *.
    -Open the Panel first
-Insert the SD card which has the F/W files
-Insert the battery (make sure that the battery is full), then plug the power adapter to the camera.
-Press the shutter button when the message press shutter to update to start the update process. During the F/W update of the LED will keep flashing. Do not remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter during this operation, otherwise the camera will be damaged.

    * 3. Update has been completed *.
-The LED will stop flashing once the firmware update completed (Please make sure that the flashing stop light)
-Restart the unit remove before adapter, the battery and the SD card in camera in order to avoid the firmware update again.
-Upgrade of the F/W was over.

Please follow these steps and let me know if everything is Ok now.

    Good luck!

  • Set white balance

Please tell us how to change the the White Balance on my HP 2311 x two monitors.  Must be in the Panel configuration (display?) or color management).  Use of DataColor Spyder 4 to calibrate two monitors for Photoshop 5

    Hello

You probably already found the settings of brightness, color and contrast in the menu of the monitor.

HP has this utility model adjustment that might be useful.

Windows 7 has a calibration depending on the view. Press F1 and type of calibrate.

Perhaps your best option for calibration is to use the Control Panel's video management function to refine the monitor color contrast, brightness, gamma, hue and digital vibrance.

HP 2311 x is not a professional quality monitor.  You can or cannot get your results using 4 Spyder.

A professional ISF Certified will be the best calibration equipment and know how to get into the hidden service menus, if this access is available.

  • Sunrise/sunset and the White Balance

I have a question about the automatic substitution of the White Balance when shooting sunrises and sunsets. A few days ago I got my first DSLR, the EOS 5 d Mk III. "I know that triangle ISO after the filming of the movie on my Canon a-1 I bought 34 years ago that still works). However, this white balance thing is a fourth dimension. Films are balanced to the light of day and the ISO is also dictation. To photograph a sunrise or a sunset, for me, it makes sense to adjust the balance of whites to 5200 Kelvin (daylight). I received a response from a camera club member who said that his pictures were all in the 5000 range. Others said ' Shoot in RAW and fix it in post processing. The second answer to 'fix later' just doesn't ring my Bell. What do things right the first time? Can I set up the white light of the day or a balance other setting? I can experiment always change the white balance; After all, I do not lose film. Here is a series of sunrises that I took using Kodak Portra 400, - 2/3 stop, on my Canon a-1. http://www.Flickr.com/photos/ralphhightower/sets/72157633079358301/ Thank you, Ralph

  • Canon 5 d Mark ii Images with the value of the white balance fixed. When they are imported into Lightroom, the value is different.

If I take a shot with the fixed value of 5200K WB (5 d Mark ii) and import into LR 2015.2.1, happens to 4850K. No presets or applied adjustments.

No idea why? How can I solve this problem?

    Rich

All raw converters use four multipliers of white balance RGGB tinted and embedded in the raw file EXIF data to set the white balance and 'calculate' the temperature values displayed inside the module development LR WB.

Scroll down to the "White Balance" section of the DCRAW tutorial PDF here: GUILLERMO LUIJK > TUTORIALS > DCRAW TUTORIAL it's all so raw converters all the rest of the white raw file and 'calculate' the temperature and tint values.

Here is a Canon 5 d MKII CR2 file with the White Balance adjustment 'in the know' behind closed doors:

    (Data EXIF Maker Notes)

The setting "As Shot" WB in LR shows a Temp of 4800 reading, which should produce a slight visual difference that the planned in-camera closed 5134 parameter, correct?

However, with the LR settings file, "As Shot" above the white balance CR2 is the JPEG file in camera perfectly on my Canon 5 d MKII (raw + JPEG file format). It's just that Temp readings do not, because they are "calculated" four RGGB multipliers. Each raw (LR, opening, C1) converter will probably show the values of temperature and tint different, since they are derived by using "reverse engineering" of the manufacturer of exclusive camera raw data structure and camera sensor response file.

Keep in mind that the spectral response of the camera is affected by changes in batch. A Canon 5 d MKII body can produce slightly different WB as one another using the same exact settings. Rather than depend on private clos or LR presets use a good white balance card or the ColorChecker Passport to 'calibrate' LR white balance settings standard shooting conditions (daylight, cloudy, Flash, etc.). For critical projects draw card of the white balance at least once for each unique lighting condition. You can then determine the correct inside the LR setting and settings of synchronization of the World Bank through all the images taken with this specific lighting.

  • Balance analog sensor for 2850K color table

    Hello

Currently, I'm trying to create a camera profile double bulb using DNG Profile Editor 1.0.0.46 beta for our camera Aptina CMOS MT9P031 base.

Using the DNG SDK 1.4 format, I am to convert images of model BAYER to a DNG with an embedded profile that has the identity on the analogue scale DNG tags and color matrices matrices.

    D65 shooting conditions:

-LED high-IRC based game of 6500K light source @ 300 lx (spectrum fit 96%)

-Analog CMOS sensor gains have been adapted to achieve a neutral image to the D65 shooting conditions

    a. do I have to keep all the winnings of component to 1.0 or adjust lighting?

    b. whatever I apply on the tag AnalogBalance DNG camera profile?

    STD A shooting conditions:

-Even turn on the value source 2850K @ 300 lx (spectrum fit 92%)

-CMOS sensor analog gains were _not_ suitable to achieve a neutral image. This obviously translates a shade of orange that can be eliminated by using the slider on the tab "Color matrix" white balance of the DNG profile editor.

    c. I have to adjust analog gains when shooting for 2850 K

Using the converted DNG shooting of the above conditions, I can create the table of colors for 6500K by using the 'Table' tab, but not the color of 2850 K. I always get the error message:

"Gray patches not neutral. The grey patch on line 4, column 3, an important nuance. Please remove the graph carefully to avoid color casts, and then try again. »

.. .but when you use the cursor whitebalanace on the tab "color Matrices" before the 'Table' tab, I can fix the Std picture has a perfect neutral image. No color cast visible, there is more.

    d. all the ideas that I was wrong?

    Kind regards

    Blad

    Hi Daniel,.

    a. sorry, I do not understand this question.  Can clarify you?

    b. the label of AnalogBalance can be practical, to make connections between the conditions of gain of capture and the temperature/tint (white point) that is displayed to the user in the raw (such as the ACR/Lr) conversion software.  You can omit it, the reported temperature/tint values will be probably crazy/incorrect.

    c. the issue is most likely the fact that we have a range of temperature internal/tint which is limited (e.g., 2000-50K temperature,-150 to + 150 for hue).  Normally this isn't a problem when generating profiles of colors, since the calibration data illuminating are well within these limits (for example, ~ 6504 K temp to D65, ~ 2856 K for Standard Illuminant A).  However, when the AnalogBalance and/or ColorMatrix values are missing or set to identity, then it will not be a correct translation between gains (aka, AsShotNeutral value) and the white calibration point.  This will prevent white-balancing step to work correctly (*) and explains why you spin the question.

Ideally you should show the ColorMatrix tag for the case incandescent to the matrix which maps the point 'A' white to the values of the system/sensor under the light of calibration "as neutral" (the "also shot neutral" is actually in contrast to gains).

    d. see (c) above.

(*)  A click of the white step in essentially, sampling linear 'rough' or 'entered' the click point values.  These values are then mapped across the AnalogBalance and ColorMatrix tags to determine the point white (temp/tint values), by Chapter 6 of the DNG specification.  If the values are outside the range supported temp/tint, they are then cut to the supported range.  (Possibly clipped) white point is translated through the tags analog/ColorMatrix Balance to determine gains / scaling factors used to neutralized or balance the area under the click point.

  • Remove the cast/blue tint of JPG (setting the wrong while taking picture white balance)

    Hello

Photosohop newb here with still CS3 (10.0), so please be patient.

I was at a convention, there is not so long ago, I took a lot of pictures with my phone. I have noticed that in the House, that some of the photos came out with an intense blue cast because of a bad white balance setting (I must have accidentally changed).

I tried to fix the image for the last 2 hours, without real success. I tried everything under Image-> settings-> "Auto color", "Levels of colors" and "Match Color", moving the sliders up and down to get the best match. The best I could come up with was still far from the other photos that I took the same day.

This is one of the bad pictures: http://imgur.com/vw12aTQ

And here is one I took a few minutes later with the 'normal' setting: http://imgur.com/RMFm7fo

In fact, I had a pretty good game by cutting stones on the two photos and using "matches the color'-> 'Source', but I couldn't apply this technique to the overview.

Could someone please help me to make the colors of the first image similar to the second?

    Thank you

    Roland

    Here is an easy solution...

Choose the Image - adjust - curves, and then right-click the gray Point eyedropper and sample something in the picture that should be a neutral gray - say one of the rocks on the ground.  Click on in various places, until you like what you see.
