  Have you tried to reset the device? Keep holding the home and power buttons at the same time and continue to hold until the Apple appears (compared to 30 seconds - really). If you see the Apple, the reset is progressing and the Slide to Unlock screen will display shortly.

  I use the Photosmart C4683 and want to print documents in black and white / black white even if the file itself is colored in order to save on the color ink cartridge and more do not require the prints in color.

  I have searched the respective preferences in all directions, but may find them. I know that you can copy and print in b & w start with a color document but how it works when printing? Help, please!

  Follow the steps below to print using black ink only:

  1. from the application used to print, click the file menu and select print.
  The print window is displayed.
  NOTE: The print window might be minimized: click the blue triangle next to product model (Mac OS X v10.5 or v10.6) or the button view details (Mac OS X v10.7 or 10.8) to display all of the available settings.

  2. to access the color options, click in the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
  Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

  3. Select Type/quality paper in the menu dropdown.

  4. click the triangle next to color Options of spending parameters.

  5. set the color to grayscale field.

  6. set the Mode to grayscale in black cartridge only.

  You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

• Pencil tool switches between black and white colors

  I've been using the pencil tool in Photoshop for a while, but he started to behave differently.

  When I have the foreground color, white color, and black background, the pencil tool draws in black. If I make a new line over an area that is black, it changes and performs the selection with white. It does behave like this for any other color as far as I can tell, and the layers do not seem to impact. The mode is too normal. Is attached a picture of my layout, the black caps were made while white was the foreground color, and white in the middle of the black has been selected above them, with the same settings. Is this a problem of content aware? How can I make my pencil draw blank again?

  

  Uncheck Auto clear in the options toolbar and see if that makes a difference.

  Well, I have a problem... Each setting is fine, but when I open the layer mask on a layer, and if I have the black brush, it works very well, BUT if I brush white, it does not work. • LP2475w monitor R-G-B-black-white color sequence

  Hello

  recently my LP2475 shows no more the OSD. When I tried to change the input source (DVI-> HDMI), I accidentally pushed an unknown button combo, which causes the display to start showing the sequence of R-G-B-black-white color.

  I tried the solution described here (/t5/Monitors/LP2475w-cycles-colors-while-sleeping/td-p/5441593 (traction power cord & push power button for 60 seconds)), but without success.

  Any suggestions?

  I have a HP Deskjet All In one Printer 3512.  After the recent update required Microsoft, my printer print in color from the internet. but it will only print in grayscale in the color of my pc documents. Tab color option is when I print from the internet, but it is missing when I try to print a document in color of my computer.  I've tried everything to fix it, but nothing works.

  Zactinium - thank you very much for your reply to my message. I have the impression and the installed Scan doctor. The analysis found that I had a problem, but nothing he could fix. After a few hours of frustration, I finally decided to uninstall my printer and reinstall it.  Fortunately, I got the CD to perform this function and the new facility has solved the problem. My printer now works again. This occurred after installing Microsoft updates which was also critical. I've had this printer for almost a year and never had any problems until this incident.  I hope that I don't have this problem again, but I know what to do now if this happens.

• Configure the color Options for Mac 8600

  This may sound crazy, but it's true.  I can't understand how to select color c. gray-scale printing.

  I went to every imaginable setting within the Pro Officeject utility.  I don't think that there is a configuration option.  Therefore, I always print in color (default setting).

  My computer is Mac OS 10.8.3 and I use an Officejet Pro 8600.

  Any help will be useful.

  I was watching this video tutorial, fill an area with the color - YouTube.  At the level of the 2-minute mark, the presenter goes to the "color" option and changes the color with the color picker.  When I try to do, I get the color picker and am able to pick a color, but it does not show in the color option, as it did not.  What I am doing wrong?  I've attached a screenshot of my Photoshop environment.

  Note the Gray/8 words at the end of the file name?

  Change your RGB color Mode and try again.

  Is it possible to compare a swatch pathItems color? For example I have a layer named "Red 032" If the pathItem on this layer does NOT have a swatch color named "Red 032' alert the user it is a problem. If everything is ok alert the user that it's all good.

• can not get the color option in the dialog box print in snow leopard w/epson

  I upgraded to snow leopard and then updated

  my printer epson 595 driver. but when I go to print, the print dialog box print settings has no color option. It is grayed - out any of my old settings or type of paper I use.  called Epson and they had opened something in preview.  I have the color option, they say it's a prob of pshop.  any ideas?

  

  Well, for a 'proper' color workflow, when you choose Photoshop to manage colors (and select the correct destination profile) you are supposed to choose without color management in the Epson driver. (which is now indicated by the parameter of color being disabled... I guess) there are a number of sites that go through the steps of printing from Photoshop for an Epson, but I don't know if they have this covered new behavior.

• HP Envy 4500-cannot print in COLOR and do not give me an option. ONLY black and white shows option

  My test page for the HP Envy 4500 comes out beautifully with vibrant colors and without streaks.

  I can also print other devices with color.

  Not connected directly to my computer, I have no options to print in color.  Photos, web pages, PDF files all print in B & W.

  The other forum posts which give instructions to get out the cartridges do not solve the problem.

  I am printing from an OSX and I have genuine HP cartridges.

  If I unplug the USB printer and try to print wireless, it still doesn't print in color well can we of our two phones (ios and android).

  Help, please.

  I uninstalled everything and him reinstalled the HP Envy 4500 driver out of the site.  Now, it will be printed in color of all programs.

  I tried to install an extension in my Photoshop CC 2015, which is a color created by Len White (PaintersWheel cs6) wheel, it says to install the file in Adobe > Photoshop > Plug-ins > panels and there seems not to be a case of panels. I was wondering if there is a way around this, or if it's just because his Photoshop CC.

  Funny enough, I tried without success last year and I think the answer is simple, it is that cc2015 is not compatible with the extension. On the top of my head, I remember well the problem lies in the fact that CS6 used swf for extensions files while CC2015 uses HTML5, which are very different things. I think the CC2014 problem also affects if given the time elapsed, it seems that if the color wheel of Mr. White will not be updated for modern versions of Photoshop. An alternative is Coolorus which is compatible and costs $15. You could of course use the HUD of Photoshop. Select a brush, and hold down shift - alt on a PC or shift-option on a Mac. Right-click on the canvas and the wheel appears with the depressed keys.

  

  The foregoing is the color wheel, but you get to define exactly what you want in Photoshop preferences

  

  It isn't as pretty as Coolorus but equally useful.
