Portably SA60-652 - configuration issues

On startup, I get a small "Windows Installer" window trying to configure the Office 2000 program and ask to insert a Microsoft Office 2000 - Rom2 CD, which was not included with the computer.
How can I solve my problem? Thank you

Hello

Can you please tell me when you get this message? At the start of the CE (operating system or Office 2000 program)?

    Hello people!

For my research project, I need support.

I have to implement the NO-tutorial: "CompactRIO Control Design and Simulation Tutorial" on different hardware.

My cRIO-9004 is no problem and the NI9104 chassis is the same.

Occure in problems with the config of the i/O-Modules:

    Tutorial-config: Slot5 = NI9505, Slot8 = NI9221

    MyDevice-config: Slot1 = NIcRIO-9215, Slot2 = NI9263, Slot3 = NI9217, Slot4 = NI9474, Slot5 = NIcRIO-9423

I think that there should be a smart way to port this programm for a different config and change the I/O-link with another module without neckshoot the programm. do not know how, because I am a newbie of LabView.

    your ff

    Hi ffelix,

The tutorial works with a 9505 (H-Bridge for Servos) movement Module and a Module of the 9221.

In your configuration, you HAVE some, a zone of OCCUPATION, an RTD, a DI and a Module, but none Module movement to control a Servo.

So if you plan to do a similar Assembly, you must use the AO Module or a Module (PWM) with an external driver circuit to control a motor. And rather than use the software NOR Motion, which I think is used in the tutorial, you will need to program the motor by yourself from scratch part on.

  • WRT310N configuration issue

I am trying to set up a network at home via my WRT310N router N Wireless, but have a somewhat convoluted Setup, go home. More specifically, I have a Verizon Actiontec modem/router combo, G who is serving more than one PC Wired has provided, as well as some wireless clients. I would like to connect the WRT310N the ActionTec router and have a Wireless N dedicated va that can also access the internet, but also a handful of wireline customers. Two routers are connected wan wan port port.

However, I don't know how to set up the "Internet IP" of the WRT310N so that both routers to communicate between them. If I put a static IP address which is identical to the IP of the router, I get a warning indicating that the internet IP and router IPS are on the same subnet and is not kosher (which I guess makes sense). Define the Internet IP to DHCP function results in no IP being pulled from the Actiontec router (presumably for the same reasons)

Is anyway to configure the router behaves more like an access point?

Worked like a charm. Thank you!

  • Cisco 867VAE configuration issues - does no routing between LAN & WAN

Im trying to configure a 867VAE to use our ADSL line. I can do to connect to the ISP, get an IP on their part and can ping 8.8.8.8 (Server DNS Googles) since the CLI routers but the side LAN does not work.

Im just trying to assign static addresses to the side in the 192.168.1.0 LAN range, but it does not seem to carry the traffic from one side to the other. Can it be related to not being able to assign an IP address to all four ports Fast Ethernet (switch)? I get IP addresses cannot be set up on L2 links so Ive vlan1 configuration instead, but that cannot link to any real interface

Attached is the current running config

Can as a question you please recommend a good book to learn how to do this sort of thing?

    Thank you

Hi ports 800 series which are l2 may not take an ip address like you because they are pure switch ports, so if you your using several VLANS part SVI Layer 3 must be set to the router and the switchports to shared resources, if only using the vlan 1 should not no need to trunk or make changes to these default ports , they are in the vlan 1

You have a switch involved or are your PC connection directly to these ports, you set the gateway default ip address vlan 1?

The interface vlan 1 shows to the top and to the top when you run int ip see the brief

VLAN 1 is related to these ports, so when you connect to a pc with a correct address in this range him vlan will come and you should be able to ping from the local pc to the internet

You don't have to bother with books that all things CCNA are on youtube and much easier to learn videos and books as you can see it being configured

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

    Tom

    Update:

Was certainly the java version showing a very old 1.4.  The configuration error was in my windows PATH variable env, which contained a very old version of java related to a former Oracle BI installation I've had.

The fix was to remove all references to this former location of java in the path variable.  Once this has happened, I was able to shoot to the top of sqlcl immediately without problem.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions of Jeff.  No doubt the eureka moment I needed to sort.

Now to start your fun with this new tool!

    Thank you

  • LDAP configuration issues

    Hello world

    Using APEX 4.2, RDBMS 11 GR 2.

I tried to configure for APEX to authenticate users in Active Directory after a certain number of messages in the forum but do not have the bees with success. Grateful if someone can help. Here's my server details (I replaced my server/domain with example.com):

    Domain: example.com

The distinguished name (DN): CN = name, OU = HQ, OU = accounts, DC = example, DC = com

    sAMAccountName: case flast

I used the above DN string to authenticate by using the simple_bind_s function in the DMBS_LDAP package and works very well in the workshop of APEX SQL and SQL Developer.

I tried in the APEX by specifying in the field DN with the following, but it doesn't work:

    CN = % LDAP_USER %, OR = HQ, OU = accounts, DC = example, DC = com

Also tried in the APEX of what follows as well but still does not work (as suggested by some posts):

example % LDAP_USER %, OR = HQ, UO is user accounts, DC = example, DC = com

Example\%LDAP_USER%,ou=HQ,ou=User accounts, DC = example, DC = com

Example/%LDAP_USER%,ou=HQ,ou=User accounts, DC = example, DC = com

    CN = example % LDAP_USER %, OR = HQ, OU = accounts, DC = example, DC = com

    .. and many more variations

    Also tried this

    http://www.grassroots-Oracle.com/2013/09/using-LDAP-to-authenticate-your-apex.html

    and this

    http://ruepprich.WordPress.com/2012/11/02/LDAP-authentication-with-Apex/

Can someone tell what I should try?

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply. I think my 'short' (in this example) is "example". I also tried, but it does not work.

This a mistake? Or show us to debug information.

I was just wondering if you need to register the schema of the apex and apex public user in the ACL?

You must add the schema of the apex to ACL.

  • vSphere vSwitch configuration issue

I'm currently building a multiclient environment with two ESXi hosts in a data center. A SAN will come eventually if I want to start my basic with this thought in mind build before implemented. When comes the SAN, I just plug it in and not have to re-architect my network.

I use a switch 24 ports of Cisco 2960 S, 1 of my ESXi hosts has 4 network cards and the other has 8 network cards. I don't know that I will NOT use the VMware vDistributed switch.

The conversation I did with people, I am told I can't achieve any type of aggregation of links on the end of things Cisco and simply let VMware manage everything that LB/ft. I'm open to any argument on this point that I do not take a position be it.

Since it is a multiple tenant environment, I am curious about vSwitch/PortGroup design with security in mind.

#1 can I paste all network cards to a single vSwitch and use several groups of ports for each VLAN? It would be a safe method to keep the traffic between the VLANS segmented?

#2 instead create a vSwitch for each VLAN and paste the appropriate vSwitch? (looks like a waste of the physical NIC for me)

#3 should I allow all the VLANS or just specify those I want to pass through (security of mind is thought specify)

More traffic will take place in the VLAN and WAN, maybe 5% of the traffic will be routed between the VLANS (I read that routing between vSwitches would have on my firewall if between two vSwitches)

It will hit my Sonicwall firewall that has 6 network adapters. I thought that I would use two network cards on the Sonicwall assigned to different VLANS on my different vSwitches or exchanges (according to the method I). I know the side of the config of the Sonicwall well enough, but I want to keep all traffic to occur on the Cisco 2960 S if it resides on any network on this switch.

    Good,

So until you have multi tenant VM isolated with no communication between them, you have two options.  (Option 1).  Take advantage of your physics of switching / VLAN / and Firewall to create the speration and control.  (Option 2).  Use PVLANS.

If you want more information on PLANS to let me know and I'll send you a link to another post I did which addresses in detail about this.

With this ISC here any visio drawing VERY fast just to get what you want to do.

    Diagram1

    Diagram2

    Digram3

OK, so moving forward with your setup your life / configuration will be much easier if you could get 6-8 network interface cards on your first host that currently has 4 network cards, however if you can not lets talk about how you get to do what you want.

Let's start with your ESXi host at 8 cards just to get the idea everywhere so the address that with 4 network cards then.

So, you will want to create 3 vSwitches:

(1.) one for management and vMotion this switch will have 2 vmnic assigned for all external communications

(2.) one for iSCSI with 2 vmnic assigned for the multipath

3.) for the virtual computer network and all the other networks, you will need for isolation / multi-tenent 4 network cards for the traffic of the virtual machine.  Feel free to borrow this switch network cards if you need it for other purposes

Now as every vmnic on all vswitchs will be several VLANS through them, you will need to the trunk ports on the physical switch and tag all the VLANS which could pass these network cards. For example, management - VLAN 10, vMotion - VLAN 20 times will go on vmnic0 and or vmnic1.  If the ports that these network cards to connect must be resources shared with vlan 10 and 20 tag on them.  If you have other questinos on this topic let me know

Ditto for iSCSI however group in the vSwitch iSCSI, most people put the ports in the access mode, which essentially qui essentiellement definit defines just one vlan to everything that is connected to this port by default so you don't require to a VLAN on the port

Now for all VM networks.  Each of them will be have their own network and VLAN.  In defining a VLAN and a separate network, you can set each one to a different gateway which will your Sonicwall.  Your sonic wall you can create itineraries and or firewall rules to prohibit traffic between networks ect.  If you have any questinos on let me know.

Now to get your SIN for talking to your virtual machine natively for backup and without going through a data store, you s VM you want this to happen to have two virtual network adapters.  On the normal network on what you want and another on the network backup Nas which will route to the NAS.

Now for the ESXi host with 4 network cards, you will have more or less the same, the only difference is that your vSwitch0 will do more work that you will have all your networks routing VM, vMotion and ESXi management.  So you have to tag VLAN on ports these network cards work on your physical switch.

If your planning to your NAS instead of iSCSI you NFS will be limited to only 1 GB throughput and would probably want to watch 10 GB nic if that is the case.  Anyway if that's what you want I would like to know or do not hesitate to ask.

Also, it would really be a good idea to get a second switch, so you do not have a single point of failure.  CurrentY if you let go of that switch is down and you don't want that once you get a another switch you would simply divide all the vmnic redundent through two switches, both vmnic0 - switch1, vmnic1 - switch2.

I hope this has helped, let us know if you have any questions.  No this is set in stone is just a quick drawing in order to give you some ideas on how you want to configure everything.

  • Configuration issue Resource Pool

We do currently not pools of resources within our environment. What we seek to do is implement with reserves resource pools memory based on our VM sizes. For example, we will create a pool of resources of 4 GB for virtual machines with 4 GB of memory, a pool of resources for virtual machines with 8 GB of memory, 8 GB etc. We would then define the reserve of memory halfway (the virtual machine) for each pool. Thus, the 4 GB VM will have a reserve of 2GB. Our goal in doing this is to reduce the size of our swap files. We have a few virtual machines spread in our environment that are configured independently. For example, a 12 GB VM with a reserve of 6 GB has a 6 GB swap file. At the global level, it could save us a lot of space to store data.

A few questions while doing this, however. What will happen for the VMs who have already activated bookings? The resource pool overrides the individual VM settings?

And no one sees this as having harmful effects on an HA event? We had problems in the past in a different environment with reservations (big 38 GB +), and when we lost a multitude of virtual machines have been unable to turn on because there was no more available resources.

Resource pool reservations have no effect on the reservation of the virtual machine in the pool - they are independent

Difficulties with HA is a question - another is by assigning reservations to all VM you can come to the point where an ESXi host won't have enough memory to satisfy the reserve causing the VM does not start.

  • Retrieve message to ESXi host Summary tab "Configuration issues."

Using VMware Perl SDK API, how to get the message of 'Problems of Configuration' tab summary ESXi host?

For example, I have an ESXi host disconnected from the cluster, and in the summary for this host tab, there 'Problems of Configuration' message "disconnected from esxi_hostname in esx_clustername." "Reason: expired license."

Is it possible to recover the message above through Perl SDK API? The host is already disconnected from the cluster, not sure if this is possible.

Yes, you can take a look at the configIssue (http://vijava.sourceforge.net/vSphereAPIDoc/ver5/ReferenceGuide/vim.ManagedEntity.html#configIssue) for the object HostSystem connecting to vCenter, i.e. When this information appears. It contains a table of configuration problems and it is exposed in the API, which means that it can be accessed by using one of our SDKs including the vSphere SDK Perl
