    Hello!

I formatted my laptop, I installed Windows 7 from a USB key again (here I copied an ISO image of windows 7) and I lost the HP Recovery Manager.

The windows do not work properly and I am trying to restore to factory settings and make my laptop, it was when I bought it. But for this, I think that I need the Recovery Manager.

Could you tell me how to download the Recovery Manager?

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6140eg Entertainment Notebook PC driver, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

    Thank you!

Therefore, the only solution is to order a HP recovery disc and then I install the HP recory Manager?  Is the best solution.

in this way after that it can install windows 7? You can still install Windows 7 in the journal you have twenty-five characters license activation key.

Once you have the recovery usb media you can put your laptop in the State wherever it was when you removed from the box when there is a serious issue. If Windows 7 is the operating system, it came with and then by running the Recovery Manager and performing a recovery image factory will reinstall Windows 7 and the recovery partition.

Do yourself the favor of order recovery media usb instead of a set of recovery disks. USB recovery media is durable, unlike a game of recovery disks, which can be damaged by a simple scratch on the side of the label.

  • Device not recognized USB keeps popping up - Windows 7

I have been using a wireless keyboard with the Sony Vaio laptop with Win 7 64 bit for a year and, yesterday, the keyboard no longer works.  The keyboard works fine with 2 other laptop computers (Win7 and XP).  Even when I unplug the dongle, the message "USB device not recognized" keeps popping up ever minute or more.  All other USB devices (i.e., memory keys, portable HDs, etc) work very well.  I uninstalled all the USB controllers in Device Manager and rebooted (multiple times).  I tried to go back to a system since a couple of days restore point.  Nothing solves the problem.

I wish that the keyboard to work again, but also really want the message stop appearing.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your advice.  I tried all these.  None worked.

Suggestions posted another user, I completely turned off my Sony notebook; has out the battery. waited a few minutes; restarted and viola - no more boring don't pop up error message, no error in Device Manager and I use the USB keyboard Adesso WKB-3000 wireless key in the response.

  • DVD player not recognized after the upgrade to windows 8

I write this to document some odd behavior, that I lived after the upgrade to Windows 8 in the hope that it might save some grief for others.  Of course, if someone could explain why this problem occurs, I'd be very interested/grateful for an answer.

I recently updated my computer from Vista Ultimate to Windows 8.  I did a clean install of Windows 8, because there is nothing special about the machine I wanted to preserve.  In all cases, the upgrade went without a hitch and I was soon back up with Windows 8 as my OS (I really like, btw).

The only oddity I noticed after the upgrade is that my DVD drive was not recognized by the operating system.  Remember, this is the same DVD player that was used to install the OS, so I found it rather peculiar.  After a bit of lost time, try software solutions theoretical I started to play with the equipment.

My motherboard is an ASUS M3A78-EM.  My hard drive is attached to the SATA1 port and my DVD player is plugged into the SATA2 port.  I removed the DVD drive from SATA2, plugged into SATA3, restart Windows 8 (from HDD on SATA1) and Windows 8 now recognizes the drive!

I thought it was really weird, so I stop, put the DVD on SATA2 drive, rebooted, and the drive was no longer available in Windows 8.

OK, so I thought that maybe the SATA2 channel was bad (even if he had worked at the Windows 8 DVD installation, just an hour or two before), so I put my HDD on SATA2 and the DVD drive on SATA1.  After doing this, Windows 8 start very well (so there is nothing wrong with SATA2), and it recognizes the DVD on the SATA1 drive.

OK, so I did that for a while, and virtually all combinations I tried worked as long as the DVD player is not plugged in SATA2.

I cannot live with that, but thought it was really strange.  Also, I note that the old operating system (Vista) was acknowledging the same DVD player while it was plugged on SATA2.  This leads me to believe that the problem has something to do with Windows 8, but I can't imagine what could be the cause.

Thanks dude.  After you create this registry key/value and restart Windows 8 was able to finally see my DVD drive on SATA2.  =)

  • Equium P200 - wireless network card is not recognized or in Device Manager

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop computer used by my friend, an Equium P200
I reinstalled Vista and downloaded the correct drivers and everything works fine apart from a Wi - Fi connection.

I took on the key board and checked that the mini pci card in properly installed and even tried it exchanged for another

The system crashes to recognize that one is plugged, when you go to the device under network drives Manager only Realtek LAN is listed (which I suppose is the Ethernet Jack)

The WIFI card is an Atheros AR5BXB63

    Any help really appreciated.

  • U2713HMs not recognized by Dell Display Manager?

    Hello

I have a setup of 3 monitors x U2713HM on a desktop computer with two nvidia GTX470 graphics cards SLI. The monitors are connected with the dual link DVI cables provided with the monitors and the drivers have been successfully installed too, I can see the name of the monitors in the windows display properties. However the DDM displays a warning message "please connect a dell monitor supported" and when I click on it it has a longer General wanrning message asking me to check the compatibility of the driver screen and power cycling the monitor... I tried all the facilities of the DDM and update one included in the CD version 12XX something up to the most up to date which is 1360 ago only a few days but no luck. Installation of windows is windows 7 64-bit sp1. It is also an open in the center of dell support ticket and I am very satisfied with their response so far, but we still have not solved the problem. I just thought posting here in case someone has similar problems with the gtx470 or sli configuration.

    Thanks in advance,
    Vangelis

DDM requires that the display driver support DDC/CI, who sometimes gets broken in complex configurations of SLI. Make sure that DDC/CI is activated in the MENU of each monitors, and that you are not running no matter what 3rd party or commercial temperature that may interfere with the DDC/CI of monitoring voltage. Then try a different NVidia display driver.

If none of this helps temporarily simplify your configuration to see how DDC/CI gets broken in the NVidia driver. Start with a monitor and a graphics card and run DDM 2 monitors and then one map graphic, then 2 monitors on two non - SLI graphics cards, then 3 monitors on 2 graphics cards, then SLI, 2 (back to the normal configuration of your favorite) graphics cards.

    Hey,.

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and it seems that you need RAID driver for install Windows properly. The driver is required to get recognized hard drives

It seems that this driver is available for XP and 2000 only because the laptop is old enough, I think that Yes it doesn't support Vista or Windows 7 I think. You can only try the XP driver. If it doesn t work you must use the operating system preinstalled Toshiba were all working properly! :)

  • I ran the Windows memory diagnostic tool, he keeps repeating and will not be finished, finally Boot Manager Windows appears with the error code: 0xc000000d.

I ran the windows memory diagnostic tool on my PC toshiba laptop equium, it restarts priming for display and then directly into the RAM test...
Unfortunately, it will not end and keeps repeating and finally if leave to work for a few hours the Windows Boot Manager comes in and stops the RAM test while noting an error 0xc000000d code. I REALLY can't reformat what I have given crucial for the thesis of the University and I only have the Vista installation disc not repair...
This RAM test shows whenever I start the PC, how can I forget that he spent his RAM test a pc and more? I'm so confused!

Any ideas on how may get a repair disk or fix it otherwise? Thank you very much

Run Memtest86 +: your computer passes this test?

Memtest86 + is running from a floppy or CD and should eliminate or confirm if your one or more of your sticks of memory are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.

Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours (at least 3 full passes), if no errors at that time then your ram is OK.
