white frame on screen

Anyone would be able to let me know what it is please?

It's over now, but I fear that it was perhaps a sign of the failure of graphics.

The MacBook Pro is less than years.

Thank you

  • Crossfade of the white frame to the adjustment layer doesn't work more in 2014 CC

Windows 7, first Pro CC 2014

I have a video clip in a sequence, nested on a layer of setting on the V2 and V1.

I want to dissolve a white frame on the clip using the adjustment layer.

In CC PP (not 2014), it was simple:

Beginning with a white PNG on V2, melted chained to the adjustment layer.

However, in PP CC 2014, this causes a fade to BLACK for the duration to dissolve, then a CUT to video.

This behavior in 2014 CC is illogical. Why has it changed?

There are other ways to do this, but it was quick and easy and is required for hundreds of clips in existing scripts / projects.

  • White/gray startup screen on MacBook 2007

I will try to summarize this question better than I can. I started with my 2007 MacBook running OS X Tiger. I bought the DVD to install Snow Leopard from Apple. MacBook, updated to Snow Leopard, it's all right. Next, I downloaded OS X Lion on the app store. Mac Lion update successfully, it's all right. I set everything up, them at the end of the day, I have connected my external hard drive to use as my disk backup time capsule. Before going to sleep, I started the backup, the progress has been shown in this backup. The next day, I wake up to find a screen completely white on the mac. Turn it off, on back, white screen. Spoke with apple support, got a little help. We have tried to reinstall the OS with disk installation dvd (using c) nothing, but a folder with an exclamation mark inside it appeared. Even with the challenging r command. We have tried everything, I want to. You have any ideas here? I would prefer not to have to drive out to the apple store and pay to get professional help. If you need more features on the details, as I said already, ask a way. I really appreciate the help.

Ask that your ad be moved to the correct forum for a 13 "MacBook space (2006-20010).

But if you actually have a MacBook Air, it's a region of different forum as well.

    Thank you best regards &,.

I agree with Timox: the ASP would not be replaced due to a single dead pixel display.
I recommend you to visit the laptop dealer and ask for the replacement of the laptop.
Maybe, you will get a new unit, I keep fingers crossed.

  • Qosmio X 870-white spots on screen

My Qosmio X 870 is 8 months old and have noticed white spots in the middle of the screen (more about half higher and mainly in the Center and go to the right of the screen).

They are pretending be worse. When I go to a dark wallpaper that they stand as stained spots - more than anything else. I notice the most when I'm brighter games as tasks and it starts to get boring. I read on another page that it would be urgent foam top but not sure.

Any ideas - would like to have an idea before I take it to be fixed.

    >... would have an idea until I get it fixed.
I don't think it's so important. Is your laptop must be fixed so don t waste your time and contact as soon as possible the nearest Toshiba service provider.

Laptop warranty valid so repair should be free.

    Good luck.

  • Help! White Toshiba M30 screen

While downloading an update of Windows XP, my toshiba M30 went to a white screen with thin vertical colored stripes. After about half an hour of waiting, I turned it off, restarted, but the white screen came back.

I took out the battery, waited for several hours before turning on again, but it always starts with this white screen.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

I don't know, but I suppose there are graphics card failure or the Fl inverter is default. The best way to know what may be the cause of this is to contact the Service partner in your country.

I'm sure they can based on your explanation assumes that if there is a defect in the material.

I don't know how old is your unit but check if the warranty is still valid because in this case all fees will be covered.

    Hello

I have read that sometimes this could appear on the laptop Tecra M2 due to the routing of the cable from the internal microphone cable. I don t think that you can fix yourself, and I recommend you contact the partner of service authorized in your country for this problem.
I guess that guys are going to solve this problem without any problem

  • Satellite A200 - freeze occasionally and fade to the white of the screen

I have a satellite A200, bought new last year. Sometimes the computer crashes, the screen starts fading to white and darker horizontal and vertical lines appear on the screen. I pressed the power switch until it turns off so I can restart, but after the reboot, it works fine. Initially this has happened only rarely, but it's starting to happen more and more lately.

It happens very suddenly and it makes no difference, what I'm doing at the time. Sometimes it does just after the market. Does anyone know why he could do that? I'm not very technically savvy, so I would appreciate if you could explain it to me in a way I could understand :)

I heard of some people having the same problem and can be caused by faulty wiring in the monitor. If this is the problem is it likely to be covered by warrantly?

You also have this problem on an external monitor? If this isn't the case, it sounds like a problem internal monitor and I think that it should be replaced.

If your laptop is still under warranty the repair should be free for you. So in your case I would contact the nearest ASP that you can find on the Toshiba site:

    Good luck!

  • Urgent: iPhone 5s boots up the white Apple logo screen, then finally turned his back on the wide...

So, my 5s has problems with a few apps, so as I normally do, I turned the phone off and tried to turn it back on. (Phone is recharged btw, so not to die because of this)

When I tried to turn it back on, the phone went to the start screen normal white with the logo of apple in this regard. He stayed there for 10 seconds, then the screen turns off. I continued to try to make it, but with the same result. Then I tried turning on the phone, press and hold the power and the "home" button to reset, but after resetting, it just does the same thing and turned off after having been on the screen of white boot for a few seconds.

I followed some advice online to hold down home button after trying the reset, or press and hold the volume up button after resetting. Nothing works.

I tried to do a variation of all the things mentioned above, when you are connected to a power outlet, did nothing.

I tried to connect the phone to my computer with iTunes open. the phone turns on the start screen, as if acknowledging a power source, but the computer does not recognize the phone and so I can't do anything to reset the phone or do any recovery options mode... because the computer does not even recognize the phone.

Any ideas? Apple chat will not work for some reason any. I need serious help. I have a week huge lead and need a phone. Impossible to find ideas on the internet, as mine connects to the computer and will not even appear a glimpse of life other than 10 seconds on the start screen.

My phone got very buggy lately, by habit when you're updating to the latest version of iOS, and I think that's probably the culprit.

NEVER interrupted or damaged my phone at all, perfectly working physically.

    Hello

Make sure that your PC is running itunes 12.3.2

Connect the USB to your PC wire

Wait for the restore, you may need to do more than once before it works.

  • Satellite P30-145: White Rectangle on screen

I have a Toshiba Satellite P30-145, and he has recently developed a problem with the display. Whenever the computer is turned on, there is a large white rectangle covering part of the screen from top to bottom.

Stopping and restarting the computer didn't help, display settings settings I tried did not work and a system restore did not work.

I think it's maybe a problem of overheating the computer often becomes very hot and sometimes stops due to overheating (even if fans don't seem to be blocked when this happens).

Anyone know what could be the problem and if it can be fixed?

    Hello

I think that the fault of the graphics card might be the problem
Maybe the GPU damaged because the temperature inside the laptop.
As you say the laptop is overheating and it is really possible that it was a reason for that matter.

In my opinion, you need to connect the laptop to the external monitor to check if the same will appear on the second screen.
If you're going to see the same rectangle on the screen then the graphics card is damage and the entire motherboard must be replaced

    Feedback would be greatly appreciated

  • Satellite L300D-20R - horizontal white line on screen

Switched my laptop this morning and the display is simmering and seems to have a shadow. The top 2 inches is OK; under the tent of 2 inches, there is a horizontal white line about 1/16 "thick. below this line, the screen is simmering, appears dark and foggy.

What can I do to fix this?

That's better than you can do. I assume that the display is faulty somehow.

  • Strange white line on screen Equium A60

Does anyone know why a strange white vertical line appeared on my screen A60? We off fragmented, a virus scan and a cleaning disc then the line appeared about an hour after.

That this has something to do with it? Should I install the product recovery disc? We did this a few months back, re - install too often cause damage? The line is present as soon as the screen lights up, i.e. Toshiba start screen.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

    Hello

first of all, no, system reinstallation will not damage anything.

As you say the line appears directly after start-up the machine, the problem must be hardware related.
Check if the problem is also on an external monitor.
If not, the LCD is faulty.
If so, the problem may be the graphics chip.

Anyway, you cannot do anything alone, in order to take the laptop to a service provider.

    Good bye

  • Tecra M5 PTM51E: line white on the screen all at stake

    Hallo,

My problem starts when I changed my settings to a chart in a match.
    I change 1280 x 1024 to 800 x 600 and a few other things.
Change in the weather was quite long so I get nervus and reset my laptop. After that, my laptop screen make a strange things such as:
-When windows starts there is a white line across the windows logo that windows is unable to start correctly

I put my system in fan mode a reinstal all my drivers (display, update the bios, all drivers on the website of toshiba.
For a while, it was ok, but when I start any game even flash games online the screen turns white and jump online to go on screen.
I decide in any format and reinstal windows but even after formatting particion all back the white lines where in the menu of windows installation. I reallize that this problem is more serious and reinstall drivers does ' t do better

Pleses help my not only tips to help.
Is perhaps the way to the graphics card puts the basic settings again?

P.S. I'm sorry for my English Polish. I hope that you understand everything.
I put here a few printscreen of the white lines if it helps.

    My system configuration:
    Windows XP service pack 2

    Hi Szymon

First, your English is great and I can understand everything ;)
    Back to the question;

I don t want to publish any terrible suggestion, but for me, the question looks really bad
From my experience, these lines are linked to a faulty graphics card chip :(
and this could be the worst case because the graphics chip is fixed on the mobo, and in most cases, the motherboard should be replaced.

But listen, man, very easily, you can check if the problem was caused by a faulty graphics card. If the white lines will be displayed again, and then connect the external monitor to the laptop and check if the same lines will appear on the second screen.
If Yes, then it s a bad GPU work.

    Welcome them

  • Melted white MacBook Pro screen

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my MacBook Pro Retina 2015, the screen freezes and fades to white! IV ' e only had it since December 2015! has anyone seen this problem before? If I have him take it back to Apple they will repair it or offer me a new?

If you make an appointment at the genius bar, they will try to solve this problem, if possible.  What this at startup or after it starts on the desktop? Things you can do. Reset the PRAM.  https://support.Apple.com/kb/ph18761?locale=en_US reset SMC.  https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201295 go to the recovery (command + R to start) and reinstall the operating system. You should not loose and personal files that it installs only the OS. If you still experience the problem, the brand and the appointment a genius bar.  Must make a backup of the drive using time machine, if you can, before go you to apple. Just in case they erase the disc.
