Who killed my session and when?

Hi gurus,

Could you tell me how can I check which killed my session and when two days before? Which table should I interview?

Any input will be appreciated.

Thank you.

You can't unless you have auditing enabled for ALTER SYSTEM.

Which table should I interview?

There is no table to the query, unless you already had the above verification enabled. In this case, see SYS. AUD$.

Hope that helps,

  • After you type the master password in session can force type master password once again without ending the current session and start new session?

Sometimes after using the password to access an account during a given session of firefox, I want to "repeal" this ability of automatic access (i.e. require type the password again once) without having to put an end to the current session and restart firefox.

It's nice to only have to type the password once per session, there are times when after launching an action that I would let the browser unattended for a short period but to prevent others to access sensitive information on other sites if they can't my master password. Note that this is not the same thing as "locking the browser. Currently, the only way I know to force it is to kill the session and restart the browser but it's not very satisfying if I really want to stay connected (allowed) to a particular site. I hope that adding a button in the Security tab "requires the master password for the current session" would be a simple solution to implement? Thank you for your attention.

You can connect from the software security device (e.g. click Cancel in the dialog box display the passwords) to force them to return to the MP once more.

  • How to kill a session by the non privileged user

    Hello

I use the oracle 10.2.0.3 version.

I have to give privileged kill session to a user non-preferred, below 2 ways, I know that this can be done with.

    1. by giving change the system to this user privilege.

    2. by creating a procedure in any user with DBA privileges, which has the statement to execute immediate change the system kill session & by granting execute this procedure to this user.

Apart from the above two ways, I heard that there is a procedure/priviledge etc. also well integrated into Oracle. Which can be granted to individual users.

No idea if there is something of this kind?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards
    Oratest

Each session has a partner gets server process created in OS that Oracle creates (the setting of the dedicated server), so if you kill even the session in Oracle and the corresponding operating system process is not killed, then the session is marked for KILL and do not get killed instantly or marked as snipped.

Also, there is no explicit privilege in Oracle to grant only the ability to kill session, you will need to ALTER SYSTEM privilege and, of course, it gives you much more capacity than to simply kill the session and therefore impossible to give all users who does not keep a database.

  • How to find who holds a SQL lock when its not v$ session.sql_id and v$ session.prev_sql_id

    Hi all

Looking a little nudge in the right direction on a strange problem with blocking locks in our database of BSE...

We occasionally will blocking locks in our EBS 12.1.3 database (11.2.0.4 CARS on OEL5).   I can easily determine the INST_ID select and SID that keeps the lock with this:

    Select final_blocking_instance, final_blocking_session from gv$ session where lockwait is not null;

and can use these results to find the specific object being blocked by querying a gv$ locked_object where session_id = xxx and INST_ID select = xxx.   These sessions blocker are generally inactive to an event of "SQL * Net client message"-while they seem to be connected to the database users who need simply to commit or rollback transactions.   Usually, when I see this type of behavior, the specific application involved in the unresolved external transactions is easy to find by taking the SQL_ID (or sometimes the PREV_SQL_ID) value of gv$ session and questioning gv$ sql.  I can then use this information to better understand what users are trying to accomplish and help them understand what they need to change to avoid the deadlock problem.

But recently, we have integrated the add-on of Oracle content management and it seems to have added (I suspect indirectly) triggers for many forms EBS our users work in.  Now that we know these "locks blocking inactive form" - and the SQL_ID value is zero and related PREV_SQL_ID sql_text is

SELECT * FROM AXF_COMMANDS_SYN WHERE FORMID =: b1 AND (MENUTYPE = 'SPÉCIAL' MENUTYPE or = "ZOOMANDSPECIAL") AND AXF_COMMANDS_SYN. SPECIAL 'n' IS NOT NULL

Although I can see SGS $ locked_object both the text of the SQL being run by sessions which blocked the blocking the locks held by the session is on an object (for example RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL) that does not seem to be at all related to AXF_COMMANDS_SYN.   The AXF schema has been added as part of the deployment of content management.

So, my thought is that a different cursor open (previous) held by the session is the real unresolved SQL that maintains the lock.  Is there a way to determine the SQL_ID of this query "indirectly" from gv$ locked_object / gv$ transaction, gv$ open_cursor, etc.?  I can determine what is the problem and what user, we need to talk to him - but I would really like to find the exact SQL that is involved.   I am also to establish if the new behavior is somehow contributing to locking problems blocking or just 'a Kipper"- and I think I know which statement SQL Gets the lock will help me to move forward with the investigation.  I'm sure I could find this info by tracing the blocking - session but the problem occurs rarely, and I'm not able to determine which trace session until it is too late... :-)

Any recommendations would be appreciated, and my apologies for the long post...

A session may issue a followed LMD of 5 requests without issuing a commit.

Another session may be attempting a DML when the 5th request session above is running.  Querying V$ session for the first session SQL_ID or PREV_SQL_ID wouldn't you say the first SQL DML.

You can walk backwards through V$ ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY (if you have the License Pack diagnosis) and determine all SQL_IDs of this first session if they did get captured in V$ ACTIVE_SESSION_HISTORY or DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY.  (Attention: not all SQLs are captured - particularly short-lived SQLs can't get captured)

Chances are th eemail link is a download option once.  After that, you probably need to go to your Adobe account online and look for an option to download it.

Depending on the version it is, you might be able to find a download link through one of the following links...

    Business catalyst

Not much to go on Walter.

You can always access your site Via the development that will be...

yoursiteprefix. BusinessCatalyst.com, or if you are a partner yoursiteprefix.yourbusinessdomain.com

You can also go to the site of catalyst for business and the connection via here.

Check the details of your domain, make sure you have indicated either the A records or for good BC NS records in your domain that hosts the installation program as well. If it's a .com address, it may take up to 24 hours for your domain "spread."

It's what warranties are for. If you bought the phone from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, iPhone, you have 14 days to return it for a refund. After that the Bank should replace the phone. If you did not buy from Apple or a shop authorized, you must respect the terms of this store. However, Apple will always replace the phone, if you contact them directly.

  • What the Protection of Session State and when it is used.

    Hello

I just want to know what is the Protection of the State of Session and where it should be used.

    Thank you
    Deepak

    Deepak,

Protection of the State of session in the Oracle apex is a built-in feature that allows you to prevent users / hackers to a URL handling in your application.

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14373_01/AppDev.32/e11838/sec.htm#CDDGIGJH

A simple way to undersatnd, what would be your banking session. As soon as you connect, your URL would include a key and probably session information for the session that you log on. But if you copy this URL and log off and reuse the URL, you wouldn't be able to connect as that the session is over.

Or once you connect and navigate to a page, you would have the information information session and the page in your browser to the URL (say it's balance transfer page). However, this page would not directly accessible using the URL with someone else. A similar security feature can be activated by using "URL access" in the access page for Apex session state protection.

    Hope this helps,
    Rajesh.

  • How to find the OS ppid in v$ session and V$ process

    Hello

    Oracle 11gDB

I have this suspiscious process in my session of $ v which is always running and connected to a 'HR' scheme, even if the 'HR' application is also stopped and other HR related batch process.
And he also told me that it came from the UNIX sun-server1. My problem is that I can not locate the PPID OS for this process when I login to the operating system to the Sun-server1.
I tried to kill this session, but he maintains the connection. Even if I bounce the database, it come back.

How to find the source of this process to the Sun-server1?

    I tried this script:
    SELECT     p.program, p.spid
    FROM v$session s, v$process p
    WHERE s.paddr = p.addr
    AND s.sid IN (39)
    Program                                                 Spid
    ============    ====
    ORACLE.EXE (SHAD)     6404
But if I have a ps - ef | grep 6404 there is no existing process OS. No matter what other script that can identify the process id of the operating system?

    Thank you very much

When the process lasts more than 24 hours, you can get is no longer hours or minutes.
You can use the utility "netstat" to connect the source & destination?

If this isn't the case, random randomly start put to death via kill - 9 until you success!

  • Can we get the DB session ID when we log into our own application

    Hello

I use my local DB with HR/hr and created a table for details of the user.
Each time running my application (login page is the default page), user enters the USER name and PASSWORD. After you have posted I am allowing it on the next page Jspx have delimited taskflow (having jsff).

In all the jsff fragments, I have a close button session and whenever the user selects it, I need to make the sign out.actually I was navigate to empty from now page. I'm not saving login details in DB after the connection. Thus, whenever the user clicks the back button, the page navigates to the previously provided login page username and PASSWORD.

So I would like to kill the session when the user logoff button clicked. Please help if we can do it.

Is there a provision like get the session DB ID and kill him when ever he logs off or disconnect.

    Kind regards

    Krishna KM.

In this case, you get disconnected and you killed at the session. You can do this by using a bean method that you call from your button. Inside you get the session, disable it and go to any other page, g .e, see again you ot your login page. A sample for this: http://dba-adf.blogspot.de/2010/02/adf-security-in-oracle-adf-and-session.html
