Why are open attachments of mail electronics outlook in microsoft office Picture Manager

I can't view attachments outlook because they are open in microsoft office Picture Manager. All existing and current attachments have changed in the photo Manager icon.

Hello Michelle,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

You made any hardware or software changes on your computer before the show?

Thank you for details on the issue.

This problem may occur if the correct program by default is not selected.

I suggest you to the value of a program by default of your choice to open attachments.

A default application is the program Windows automatically uses when you open a particular type of file, such as a song, film, photo or Web page.

Please see this link:

What is the extension of fixing this "text"?
The last 3 letters of the attachment is the file extension.

If the last 3 letters... are doc, you need Microsoft Office Word or Microsoft WordViewer.

  • How to open a. File TIFF using Microsoft Office Picture Manager?

For some reason, the program by default-Set associations will not replace Quick time.  I can't open a tiff file.  I have Itunes & Quick Time player installed.  I want to open the files using Microsoft Office Picture Viewer tiff and I set my default to open tiff and tif files in Microsoft Office Picture Manager.  However, when I click on a tiff file to open it, the system tries to open using Quick Time Viewer and then I get a white screen with "done" at the bottom.  When I uninstall QuickTime, tiff files will open as expected in Microsoft Office Picture Manager.  How ideas keep Quick Time installed and still be able to open tiff files?

    I found a solution.

    Go to regedit.

    Search: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT Type\image/tiff

The named CLSID value just right-click and choose Remove.   ("CLSID" = "{4063BE15-3B08-470D-A0D5-B37161CFFD69}")

    Click Yes to confirm.

{4063BE15-3B08-470D-A0D5-B37161CFFD69} is the QuickTime ActiveX module.

    Problem solved.

    Hi judithl34724699,

If you want to convert Word files to PDF with the Adobe Reader application then it is possible with the service Pack of PDF. Try to use the service on the web: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf

Also try to use a different file type.

  • Does not open attachments in Mail

    Hello

I am trying to solve a problem for a friend,

in Windows Mail on Vista my friend is not able to open the attachments for example. .PDF, .doc, .xls, etc., if they try to save the first attachment is said that there is not enough disk space, when I checked, there were 120 GB of free space left.  All the Windows updates were installed and Service Pack 1 & 2 were installed, Windows Security Essentials is installed and up to date and I tried to install Windows Live Mail and the same thing happens, I checked all the file extensions are assigned to the correct programs, I checked that in Mail security settings do not block attachments.  Attachments used to work, but he stopped about a month ago.  Any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Thank you.

Where can I find setting, as I'm sure that, in respect of the security in Windows Mail I unchecked something to do with not opening attachments that could be a risk of virus.

I overlooked the fact that your friend uses Microsoft Security Essentials.
My suggestion 'disable electronic mail analysis' does NOT here apply.
    My apologies.

I don't know why your friend is such a problem.
I can only suggest that the account in question is corrupted...
Go to Windows Mail > tools > accounts > click this account > delete.
    Now recreate this account.
Note: you can copy down the settings first before deleting the account.

  • I can't open attachments Yahoo mail, but can in Internet Explorer. Tried all of the suggested fixes and nothing works.

I tried all that on the previous thread for the same problem and I can not open attachments. I have no problem with attachments in Internet Explorer. It looks like a problem of FireFox for me.

Whuch suggestions did you try? Here are two recent threads, I found:

    • / issues/978924 Cannot open the pdf attachment in Yahoo Mail. Worked in 25.0 not 25.0.1. Still works with IE.

Have you tried /questions/977835? page = 2 #answer-506091 (change the parameters of 'Complete' to 'Basic')?

Are you accessing Yahoo Mail directly from https://mail.yahoo.com/ instead of via a bookmark? Edit: I see already suggested this and linked to another thread, philipp/issues/971042

Have you installed IE8? If so, that's your problem. The drones at microsoft will not acknologe this issue calling it a virus program incompatibility. If you uninstall IE8 yiu will probably be back in the business of making it easily, click on the link between communities at the bottom of the error message and analysis through messages until you see a link to uninstall IE8

What I have to change to make it work?

    Hello slpyjim:

Welcome to Windows 7 say good buy to look out now. Microsoft is more supports or maintains it. New version for it's your old email account when you sign in to just use Windows Live Mail. Access your list of programs, click the Windows Live folder, you will see it listed. You have simply lost your previous e-mail account emails. I read in the forum where costomers complained to this topic. When the switch was made. So don't be surprised if this happens. Please click on Bravo if it helps. Thank you frrw

  • Is a program to open zip included in Windows Vista or Microsoft Office files?

Try to open a zip file and Windows Vista can't seem to accomplish.  Also have Microsoft Office.  Is there a file that automatically opens zip files in any of the two?  How to open a zip file?

It is included with Vista, but is called decompression/compression instead of compression/decompression.

Here's briefly how to do it:http://www.ehow.com/how_4963978_open-zip-files-vista.html.

If it doesn't, the Zip file associations have been lost somehow and must be repaired (I'm not sure what caused it - maybe some setting inadvertently or the hidden keyboard command).

Here is a link to how to restore Vista zip file association: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/65254-zip-file-support-restore.html this should restore for compressed files zip file association and hopefully remove of open file (but which may take another measure).

Here is another link on how to enable and disable the files compressed in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/93827-zip-file-compressed-folders.html.

Here is a link on how to restore default binding settings in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/233243-default-file-type-associations-restore.html. This should also restore default associations of open files that include no zip.

Between these three links, you should be able to restore files zip compressed file association and not with open files - indeed, return things to their default settings.

Here are some additional links that may be useful if the three above do not resolve the problem:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/91920-unassociate-file-extention-type.html,http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/restore-and-reset-file-association-in-windows-vista-back-to-original-default/,http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/and http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/105/1/File-association-fixes-for-Windows-Vista.html.

I hope this helps.  Good luck!

  • Why are there two icons all at once in my URL (Google manage requests and queries to manage Facebook) that I can't control?

    Hey Mozilla. ~

In the area of ADDRESS of Firefox, there are two icons on the right, just to the left of the arrow in the drop-down arrow and refresh. They seem to be to Google and Facebook, both with ToolTips who say, 'see and manage applications. The drop down menu allows me to manage their link friend requests, but "Go to Menu" and "Remove from toolbar" grey outside and no action.

Q1 - How are they there?
Q2 - How can I prevent them being placed automatically in the future of these abusers of privacy?
Q3 - what they are in the URL field?
Q4 - if the menu context menu has disabled the option "Remove from Toolbar", how can I remove them?

FWIW, I have accounts at Google and Facebook but trust neither and if them were blocked by all possible means to look at me, sending me notifications, do something 'for' me, etc.. My Add - ons may be visible in my account, but in general they are related to the Organization: "Group Tabs", "Bookmarks" or my custom work process: 'Send to Kindle', 'HTTPS Everywhere' and 'disconnect intimacy. " I hope this helps.

In a world of sharks and blood-suckers online, I hope that Mozilla to help me to be safe. Thank you for helping me to understand what Google and Facebook, go to my URL field.
