  Yes, the balls are always a problem because they do not have three buttons on the mouse and you cannot Middle-click.

  You can always try to click on the "Restore default" button in the window customize if you want to have all the toolbar buttons in the default position.

• Why can't I make a new tab in Firefox 3.6.16 manually? I have Windows 7 and did not have the problem with other versions of Firefox.

  My question says it all. I click on the new tab button and nothing opens. By clicking on the links will open a new tab, if necessary, or using "Open in new tab" seems to work very well.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:

  Usually I can click on the "open a new tab" button to open a new tab, but now, when I click on the button, nothing happens.   I have started working on FInal Cut Pro and have discovered that my audio Jack does not recognize any microphone that I plug.  I tried 4 different microphones up to now.   The input Attenuator is turned up 50% and beyond with no effect.   The entry just says "Audio" preferences pane: "Line input" with no other available device.  Am I missing something here?   He is 4 years old and this is the first time I tried audio input.

  I have a problem I did the research for some time and have yet to find something that works. If someone could help me with some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm looking for a simple method quickly convert all filled with symbols and characters to the described features. I have a lot of files similar to this one, so I hope its something I can repeat easily.

  The problem is that each character or symbol is not a simple filling. Instead, the filling consists of many forms. Each form has its own plan. It is therefore very difficult convert the image in all the theoretical outlines of characters and symbols.

  I have already tried using the merge tool in the Pathfinder, but this merge not all forms of filling.

  You first need to describe everything. Faster is to flatten transparency via the command in the menu object. Check the features of text and the Contour contour. After this "fusion".

• I am running firefox 3.6.18 and after the last windows xp update, I do not get a new tab when I click on the button '+' to get a new tab. A new tab is inserted when I open something clik on a form of link in the current window.

• I can not open a new tab anyway... by clicking on the button new tab bar tabs, or ctrl/T or file/new tab, or by clicking on the link on the current page.

  On Windows7 Home Premium Edition, I can't get a new tab to open no matter what I try. Occasionally, if I click on a link on the current page, a second tab opens, but 99% of the time I'm stuck using the first tab for everything and using the back button. I tried ctrl/T, tab file/new, right mouse click / New tab and the new button tab in the tab to the right of the current tab bar.

  Uninstall the Ask Toolbar. It can cause this problem.

• Could not open a new tab should get a link and open it in a new tab.

  I can not open a new tab, or by clicking on the button in the toolbar, go to the file/open new tab or CTRL T. I think that this has happened after I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox. The only way I can get a new tab is to click on a bookmark or a link, right click and select open in a new tab. Very frustrating.

  I found these instructions:
  In case you need more than one step by step:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste about: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:

     Page thumbnails (default) => about:newtab
     Blank tab => about:blank
     Built-in Firefox home page => about:home
     Any other page => full URL to the page
  

  Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked.

   However as per the attached screen shot, I do not have a preference "browser.newtab.url"
  

  Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use an add-on like tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Note, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.

  I can not open a new tab by clicking on the sign in Firefox +. This feature works in Chrome and IE.
  I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.
  I did all the updates that are available.
  I did a reboot x 2.
  CTRL T will open a new tab not either; However, I can do a search for something and right click to open in a new tab.
  I frequently use the tabs and really not miss them.

  Help!

  Hello stefbrooks, you can try to reproduce this behavior when you start firefox in safe mode, once? If not, maybe an addon intrudes here (watch out for those related tab in particular)...
