• Why can't I see all the pods in RoboHelp 7?

  I can't view the pods in RoboHelp 7 after update of Java. Docs beta expected in 24 hours. Any suggestions?

  I may be off base here, because the update of Java may or may not be a Kipper. This phenomenon (without pods) can also occurred in this scenario:

  1. Voluntarily, you close all your pods EXCEPT the editor Design view in order to eliminate interference and simply look at the subject with as much real estate as possible.
  2. A topic is left open in the Design Editor and everything works fine.
  3. The author closes the project
  4. The author reopens RoboHelp for a different project.
  5. Because nothing had been previously loaded for this new project, there is nothing to load in Design view, so it is empty giving the illusion that the pods are gone forever.
  6. The fix in RoboHelp 7 (guessing because I don't have it on this machine) is to go file > environment > Load Default environment. and return all the pods.

  If this does not work, then suggestion of Peter seems the only recourse.

• As of today, why can't log on to the New York Times with Firefox, but can do with Internet Explorer?

  I called the New York Times, and they said that they had several people with the same complaint. I did not have this problem before today. Normally, I recognized when I go on the site and do not have to connect at all. Today, I was not recognized and when I tried to connect, it says that there is an unspecified error and wouldn't let me open a session.

• Why can I not see all the image files? Import in Lightroom CC 2015.2.1 HARD drive

  When I try to import image files with the new dialog browse computer and point the Explorer select a folder on all the right places, none of my image files are visible. I just get "no element not corresponding to your search.

  However, I am still able to import from a USB SD on my Win 7 desktop PC card drive but Lightroom is no longer able to recognise the content of my hard drives as a source of import since the "upgrade".

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  The option to browse computer, you will be asked to select a folder.

  In case you want to select a particular folder, then please select it in the left panel.

  I'm just trying to clear some things. Muse helps you design the site, and then when you click on "publish" your Muse file is converted to html and downloaded in British Colombia. It is a one-way, for each update process, that make you Muse, it replaces all of the Muse site.

  A site created with Muse, access is blocked for "incompatible" with Muse functions. SO you should connect to your site administrator, click on your name, select 'My details' and then check the box "Enable online editing", enter the password to validate, and click Save. You should be able to see the file manager and the site editor after that.

• Why can't I download all the programs?

  My application on the same machine (the 1st installation) Manager shows only 14 programs (even after re-login, change the language etc...) I'm frustrated because I could download all programs on my 2nd machine (where I don't need all of them!) ...

  I suspect that the difference is due to the 2nd computer not meet the system requirements to use certain programs. After Effects, Premiere Pro, and SpeedGrade for example require a 64 bit OS and do not appear on a 32-bit system or an old Mac with a PowerPC processor, Lightroom does not appear on Windows XP. Here is a screenshot of the MAO. You can compare it to what you see on the 2nd computer to see what programs are missing and check the system requirements (care tech) for this application. Here are the ones for After Effects, for example:

  Have you tried in settings - general - accessibility - speech?

  There you can turn on selection or screen to talk to Speak. I think that "Speek screen" is the function you're looking for.

  close your office cc app, delete the file OPM.db and reconnection in the desktop application of creative cloud using the Adobe ID associated with your subscription.

"Setup could not access the critical file. Please try to reinstall (error code: 43)

• the old version allowed me to save all open tabs by giving it a name, i.e. on 29 April, but I can't find it in the new version. Is there something like this? If so, I really want to come back

  Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.

  You can see the difference if you use Alt + F or Alt + B to open the menu 'File' and 'Favorites' and compare them to what see you if you use the mouse to open the menu after completing the bar menus visible by pressing Alt, or by pressing F10.

  • "To bookmark all tabs" (Shift + Ctrl + D) is no longer present in the menu bookmarks unless you open the bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
  • 'Bookmark this Page' is accessible through the context menu of the browser page.
  • "To bookmark all tabs" are available through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

• I can do something that would cause all the new sequence files to have the same local variables?

  I would like to add local or drop some variables global to all the new sequence files I create. I was hoping that I could simply add the variable to the process template and make it appear whenever I created a new sequence or in any order who have used this process model, but it doesn't seem to work.

  If you use TestStand 4.0 and later versions, you can create a sequence model by adding a sequence selected in the models pane of the TestStand sequence editor.  You can then use this template to create all your future movies.  Once you configure the model you like you will be easy to reuse this sequence skeleton again.
