Why can't is to send text messages to non-Apple on my iPad Pro devices?

Is there a solution for iMessage in the works?

There is no solution in the works as iMessage works the way it is designed to work. iMessage is a unique application of Apple that works wirelessly with other iOS devices and Mac computers. It was never intended to work with Android phones. You can use transfer on an iPad to text with non-text messages users iOS, but you still need an iPhone to do this.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 9330 "SMS error 0, general problems. Can't send text messages

My Blackberry 9330 cdma has been great work over the past 7 months.  From Friday 22 November, I can no longer send text messages.  I can receive texts, but every time I try to send a text I get the error message following the General problems""(SMS erreur 0, ID de Message XX). "

I was using my phone as usual, sent the texts in the morning, but in the evening, I was unable to send a text with success to anyone.

I have contacted my provider and they did not receive one of the error messages on the network, and there is no power outages in my area (I tried to send other areas of the city too).  I have pulled the battery to reset, deleted the data from the phone, reset all connections... all to nothing does not.  The issue seems to be with the blackberry.

I'd appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me.

    Thank you

It is usually a network problem if you have not any setting or update any software on the device. I contact your carrier and bring them to escalate your case through their support channels.

  • After that iOS 10 Upgrade, Siri can send text messages.

I have an iPhone 6.  I have upgraded to iOS 10 (10.0.1) this morning.  Everything seems to work very well with the exception of Siri is unable to send text messages.  It was working fine before the upgrade.

'Hey Siri' addresses.  I say to "send a message to Patti mobile xxxx."  Siri says and asks what I want to say.  I said the message.  It saves the message as usual and asks me if I want to send it.  I say 'yes '.  He says "your message has been sent.

Then, I get an error message saying that the message could not send.  The message is then listed with a recipient of: _ $! < mobile >! $_ the message below is "Message send Failure."

Any thoughts?  Thanks for your time.

10 iOS update resets some parameters according to me.  It worked for me to go to Options - LTE data - cell - cell settings enable and toggle either 'Off' or 'Data Only'.  Texting non-Apple do not seem to work if "Voice & Data" is selected.

Go to settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage is activated. iMessage will only send with other iOS devices. The iPhone will send SMS if you send to non - iOS devices. You must also make sure that you have given to lit and it is connected to the Wi - Fi or cellular data.

  • Why Adobe can't get out the desktop versions of their software on the iPad Pro? [was: failed to get the 'real' work]

Help! I have a session of really expensive iPad 128 GB Pro in front of me, but you guys have not released a full version of your Creative Suite like Photoshop and Illustrator applications. So, I can't do anything more drawing freehand with a pencil of Apple, surf the web, write emails, play games, etc.

Your companion apps are great and all. But I want to do my work ON the iPad. I don't want to have to deal with the concern to understand what can be done on the iPad, and what I can do this only on Mac because I deal with the companion applications.

You are geniuses. So are the guys at Apple. You both have had a long-standing relationship since the time that I first played with Photoshop in black and white on my Fat Mac (512 k). Why Adobe (and other software publishers, for that matter) cannot release their software on the iPad Pro versions of office?

I know, I know. Experts say: ' just go buy a darn Mac already! But, look. That's life. People want to use the computing device they want to use. I mean, it's not as if Apple did not promote the iPad Pro as a desktop machine class. And, it's not like Adobe and Apple released were not closely related to decacdes...

If you build it, they will come. Apple built the iPad Pro. People came and bought. A lot of them, actually. And, if you search the internet for it, you'll find a slew of messages and articles where people are clamboring for serious on the iPad Pro tools so that the promise of Apple class office can be achieved.

Now, it's your turn, Adobe. Lead the charge! You have the resources. Build it now for we, the faithful, we move.

p.s. Thanks for making of amazing tools that have helped feed me and put a roof over my head for decades, now. A lot of love.

p.p.s. thank you for leting leads me.

    Hello

Short story. An 'iPad Pro"have not enough power to run Adobe software as similar to the desktop computer.

That said, some "desktop computer" not all have the ability to run software from Adobes 100% of their potential.

You must "wind" in the Apple forums.

  • Why my iPad can't accept and send texts to certain people in my phone book? When I try to send a message, I get the message "not delivered".

Why can I not use the messenger section to discuss with people from my directory?  When I try to send a message, it returns "not delivered".

The iPad itself is unable to send any text or SMS - it can do iMessage.

SMS on a component of the cellular signal that the iPad doesn't have access to

To be able to text message-, it must 'connect' the iPad to your iPhone using continuity

  • Why can I send someone a text Message from my iPhone, but the iPad

Can send a text message from my i5s, but cannot send the same person a message from my iPad. No, I want to send text uses android. In the past, I have sent this person a message from the iPad but won't work now.  What is happening with this?

The devices must be connected on the same Apple ID, Bluetooth must be on, and then you can activate Message Forwarding text on the iPhone. It's in settings > Messages and then you will follow the steps to select the iPad. Once you do this, you will be able to send an SMS from iPad.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry 7230 - can't send text messages - help, please!

Hello world! I'm new here and really hope that someone can help me. I'm new to BB and received my 7230 yesterday; I bought on ebay Spain (I'm in Spain) and you can use it with Vodafone (I am their customer). I'm not find it as hard to use as some people told me that it was going to be, but I have some problems with it. Before I go, I'm NOT interested to use it for my emails - just like a standard mobile phone to make and receive calls and text messages.

    Problems:

    (a) while my SIM card works, I find anywhere the numbers that are stored on the card (I double checked by using it in my husband's phone). I guess I'd find them under "address book", right?

    (b) I can receive text messages but cannot send. I get texts in "mail". I'm also confused on where to send sms messages from - is it in the folder "Message new message? (I apparently do not have alternatives) In the message new message file it tells me 'an email of time' - is that sms too? But even when I compose something there, it tells me that the message service is not configured and I can only save in drafts.

What I am doing wrong? I Googled it and found some info on the deletion policy and the like, but it's all Chinese to me. Another place I found I should I register my netwok under the host router Table but I can't do anything in this folder.

    I would appreciate any input.

    1. open the address book > click the dial > SIM directory.

    2. open your Messages folder > click the wheel > compose SMS

  • Sending text messages

Hello, I got my watch for 4 days, and I noticed that it will send only iMessages rather than a text message. When I try to respond to a text that is not an iMessage, he answers after only 2 minutes of ish that the message was not delivered. Is this normal?

    Hello

    The following steps may help:

    • On your iPhone, go to: settings > Messages:
      • Ensure that send as SMS is activated (maybe try to switch it works again, if already activated).
      • Turn off the power to the iMessage at the top of the screen, pause for a few moments, then turn it back on.
    • Therefore, it can also help to restart your iPhone and your watch:
      • Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first.
      • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;
      • To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
  • I was able to receive and send text messages (NOT iMessage) from my Apple Watch, even if I had left my phone at work, 10 miles away.  How is that possible?

My phone does not connect to a WiFi to work because it's a restricted network.  I have a macbook and an ipad at home, but the iPad died (battery) and my macbook had power, but had fallen asleep.  I don't understand.  Think my phone has to be in my bag if I was getting texts, but he found in my office this morning.  Is my watch somehow 'work' through my macbook ASLEEP?

    Hello

Subject to your carrier supporting the appeal of Wi - Fi and function has been activated on your iPhone, Wi - Fi calling can be used to make and receive phone calls as well as - when supported by the carrier - for text messaging / SMS over Wi - Fi.

When the Wi - Fi is enabled on your iPhone, the service is also available via Apple Watch, even when it is connected to a known Wi - Fi network and the pair iPhone is not available.

In the United States, for example, both AT & T and T-Mobile currently support send and receive SMS via Wi - Fi calling.
