Apple does not apps sold through the app store to update anyway, except through the app store, and adobe obviously think we should create a new version whenever there is an update of raw.     Hello. I own an iPhone 5 9.3.2 running IOS.

    I also have a Mini Mac running 10.11.5

    iTunes on my Mac shows that the application of Podcasts iOS has a new version. However, I'm unable to update the application on my Mac, which is what I usually do when the update iOS apps. Instead, I see a message saying that I need to update on my iPhone via the App Store.

    So I ran the App Store app on my iPhone and tried to Podcasts app. However there is no button to update the Podcasts app. On the results screen on the app from the App Store, I see the Podcasts icon and when I click it, it opens the app. But I don't see a way to upgrade the application.

    So I was wondering if anyone can give me more detailed instructions on how to update the Podcasts app. I use the Podcasts app a lot, so I definitely want to update it. I don't know why Apple made so complicated update.
